I purchased a couple ten game ticket books and have had the worst experience trying to use them. The books are directly from the sky sox. You can never get anyone in the box office on the phone. I’ve dealt with a few people at the box office in person and what a disaster that’s been. I’ve never had a bad experience while at the game but I will never buy another ticket book again. I’ll buy my tickets online and print them. Saves me from dealing with the incompetency in the box office.

I love baseball, the great American pastime. And I love it even more at the stadium. Sky Sox Baseball and Security Service Field have come a long way over the years. One thing that hasn’t changed is the family fun and togetherness you can share on a summer evening at the ballpark. Friday night fireworks never disappoint and there are great deals to be had on food and drink throughout the week! Enjoy some time with your kids, take them to a ballgame!

AAA minor league baseball provides a fun time at the ballpark for much less money than a major league game. We were able to get seats on the fourth row behind the Sky Sox dugout for $ 13 per seat. On Tuesday’s each seat is only $ 2. There are unfortunately«handling fees» and a $ 5 fee to park which runs the cost up a bit but it is still a good value. Our preference would be to have all fees included in the ticket price but this is how everyone does it these days. At this level, you will often see some players who have been in the majors or soon will be… so this is a chance to see them up close before they move on to «the show.» There are plenty of give aways between innings to keep your attention. The food is average ball park fare, which isn’t all that good. Overall a fun time suitable for the whole family.

The park is known as Security Service Field. It’s a pretty nice facility, with easy access to vendors, bathrooms, parking and the like. The box/corporate/banquet areas look pretty nice for a minor league park. Good entertainment with the mascots and like most minor league parks, a nice place to take kids for a reasonable price. When in the Colorado Springs area, a great night activity if the club is in town.

It’s a nice place to enjoy the summer weather. Banquet room has a great view but the food was average. Nice and clean stadium and a great place to just enjoy your time with friends or family.

I went to my first Colorado Springs Sky Sox game yesterday and I have to say it was a dang good time. The location is easy to get into and out and there is plenty of parking. Though it is $ 5 to park, that is much cheaper than going to a Rockies game. The staff was very nice and helpful whenever you talk to them. The security guy even worked with a smile which is amazing. It was nice to go to a game and not be treated like a criminal when you walk in. Then again I guess that’s what you get when you go to games in Denver. You can’t go wrong with $ 9 tickets, heck most of these guys are almost to the majors anyways so it’s a steal. There isn’t a bad seat in the house or at least from what I can tell. I do however recommend that you drink somewhere before, they do have the typical outrageous beer prices at $ 6.75, so be prepared for that. I would recommend keeping an eye on their website for promotions, nothing like $.50 hot dogs to wash down the $ 6.75 beer.
