Randi just moved here with her husband a few months ago, and I’ve gone to her for lash extensions twice now. And I’m SUCH a fan! I’ve used false lashes and 3-d fiber mascaras(a few different high-end brands) and after finding her on Instagram( ) and loving her work decided to take the plunge. And I’m SO glad I did! I had a few people tell me not to do extensions because they were a) a pain to clean, b) they itched their eyes or c) came off when they cried. I’m glad I didn’t let this stop me because they’ve been great! They haven’t been difficult to keep clean(she even gives you products when you leave), and they DEFINITELY don’t itch or hurt(because she does them right). And they withstood my entire spectrum of emtotions and activities — sweat, tears, you name it. I forget they’re there. And I wake up with my eyes already popping! Some days I don’t even have to bother with make-up at all because they give you just that extra umph. |SERVICES| I’ve only been to Randi for individual eyelash extensions, so my review is limited to that. But I do know she offers eyebrow services — like brow fills with extensions. And she does videography and photography, as well. After finding her on Insta, I direct messaged her, and she gave me a quote and we set up an appointment over Instagram — which I appreciated and was convenient. She texted me before my appointment to remind me no eye make-up the day of, which was helpful. And she was on-time(!) and waiting for me at the salon. She recommended a deep curl on my lashes because I have a hooded eye, and they came out so great! You lay down and an hour and a half or so later you’re good to go! She said a lot of people fall asleep(who doesn’t love a cat nap?), but we talked and she’s really just a friendly, sweet-spirited person and made me so comfortable. She did a great job on them and is meticulously detail-oriented. And before leaving, she gave me directions on how to clean them and what to avoid doing. And she gives you a little bottle of shampoo and spoolie(like a dry/clean mascara wand) to help separate them after they’re wet. For those of us with fun colored hair, she even has some colored lash options for a pop of color, too. I also really appreciate her passion for what she does. After school, she decided she really enjoyed doing lashes, which requires special certifications, and has been focusing on this. She’s constantly working on furthering her expertise and education in the field, which I value in any professional who I work with. I come back every 2 – 3 weeks for a refill. |COST| She is/was running a $ 89 special on your first full set until November. And refills are $ 60. Totally worth it and cheaper than most places that even offer Groupons(and she does a better job). Hands down a win. |LOCATIONS/AMBIANCE| Randi is at Eden Salon in downtown. She’s in the basement, so it’s nice, quiet and private. Her room is really comfy, too. If you’re not familiar with Eden though the most convenient parking is metered parking in front of the shop. The meters do take cards, and there is a 2 hour max. You should be done before the meter is up though. Would highly recommend Randi Lee Lashes to anyone interested in them.
