Decided to come here instead of my usual(Phở Luu) since this place was on my way home. I sincerely regretted stopping by this place. I got my order to go(phở tai– rare steak) and it cost over $ 9. It seemed a little pricey compared to what I’m used to paying for phở, but I figured maybe their portions were larger or something. I was so disappointed when I got home and opened my bag to find that they had given me very little sauce– the to go sauce container was maybe 1⁄3 full. If even. The soup was incredibly bland and thanks to not having any sauce, it was pretty much inedible. I had been looking forward to having phở all day since it had been snowy and cold out but I was so disappointed with this experience. The staff there was not friendly by any means, either. When I approached the counter to place my order I had to stand there while the two employees sat on their phones talking to each other. When they finally acknowledged me they weren’t too interested in helping to answer my questions about the menu. Not to mention, my stomach was upset all day after eating what little of their phở I could stomach. Not sure if it was related but it seemed that way. I would definitely rather drive out of my way to get Phở Luu.

Flies around, ordered a phở soup noodle, the soup no salty, same like rice noodle just in water.

Bad experience, ordered 4 spring rolls, two of them came with hairs. They seems don’t care anything about their own business. The noodle soups finally came, the soup has no taste and it is the worst Phở we have ever had. We came from Houston there we can find many very good Phở places. But this one is very disappointing.

We were not too impressed here. The Phở was okay, not great. The fake crab certainly didn’t impress. One of us also found hair in our food. This happens even at the best of restaurants on occasion, so I don’t get too upset about such things. They did replace it, but were not very apologetic and almost seemed annoyed that we brought it up at first. Its not likely that we will return here.

Phở Viet II was recommended to me by the owners-who are currently relocating and will not be open for 2 months– of my favorite phở(65) place. Spring rolls were fantastic and the chicken phở was really good. Broth is flavorful and not greasy. Ingredients were fresh. Place was clean and service was adequate. Overall a good experience and I will return

Our favorite Phở 65 is relocating, and they recommended Phở Viet II until they reopen. The vegetarian spring rolls were fantastic-the tofu was cut perfectly and I got some in each bite. The peanut sauce was delish. The phở ga(white chicken) was okay. Fresh ingredients and good noodles, but the broth was missing a little something. Great price. Decent service.

Came here to have Phở one Monday night(after finding that it was Lemon Grass closure day) we just had Phở on our mind, so we ventured to the closest Phở nearby. This is what Google brought up. We sat in an alcove that looked like it had previously been the register location. The floor was a different type and it was looking sad. The whole restaurant was sad looking and not particularly clean :( The food was not bad, but the Phở was definitely not up to par with Lemon Grass. I am pretty sure I won’t return as I can get better food in a cleaner and more inviting atmosphere at Lemon grass. So this was sort of a meh.

The food was actually good, however the hospitality needs some work. Not inviting or friendly. After being yelled at to close the door, I wanted to take my big group of people and give our money to another restaurant. Didn’t get better. Not sure if I will go back.

A general lack of flavor of the phở and a lack of content makes this a good choice if you are looking for a low sodium phở. Service is so so. The waiter is more interested in hiding behind the counter with his tablet than actually providing service. Had to stand at the door in this deserted restaurant for several minutes before the waiter appears. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Phở Viet won’t blow your mind but it will satisfy your hunger for some tasty Vietnamese food. The setting is simple, nothing fancy but then you aren’t paying the prices you will see in trendier places. I love the combo dry noodle bowl, phở and the spring rolls. If you just want some decent food at decent prices, this is the place for you.

Good phở and rice vermicelli, broth was a bit too salty, bean sprouts were very fresh.

Coming from Phở-Mecca(Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia) and having amazing Vietnamese friends who can make phở, I have a super high standard and tasted a variety of phở. Surprisingly, Phở Viet II was very tasty. That tattooed guy who took my take-out order was nice and personable. Something that’s not always common in Viet places. I had the summer rolls w/shrimp that were tasty and fresh. Being Colorado, i was expecting a ‘stale’ roll. not so. The shrimp and basil were crisp and the peanut sauce was different. Not tan and peanut-butter like, like many places. It’s hard to explain. I tasted tamarind in it. I ordered the medium chicken phở with extra chicken. The broth was AWESOME! Not full an abundance of nutmeg/cardomon. It was balanced. The accompaniments were awesome. Plus, when I asked for extra chicken, i GOT extra CHICKEN! It was impressive. The size of the medium was that of many larges in other places. Only gave it a 3 for now because my experience was limited to take-out and two menu items. I plan on going back and trying their beef phở and a noodle dish. Try them out. Not bad for CSprings.

This has become my favorite restaurant in Colorado for numerous reasons and let me explain them to you… 1. They have the best egg rolls I’ve ever had. Bold statement because I’m from CA and I grew up eating Vietnamese food at least twice a week. I’ve had every type of egg roll under the sun and THESE are THEBEST. 2. Above and beyond service. The family that runs this restaurant always treat us with such genuine hospitality. I feel like family when I come here. 3. Clean, comfortable, and there’s a big screen tv. Phở and tv! And this restaurant is clean. You never see tables that haven’t been bussed or condiments that aren’t refilled. Everything is ready when you arrive. This is my go to restaurant. After a long day of work, I come here and rejuvenate. After one sip of their soup broth, I always feel like a new person. Soul Food at its finest.

After reading the reviews, I decided to stop for lunch on a cold day for phở. I immediately ordered the Thai iced tea. I was disappointed because it was a glass full of ice with a little tea along the sides. The shrimp spring rolls were excellent. No complaints at all. The place is clean and the service was fast and friendly. My seafood phở was very good. All the usual trimmings came with it. The broth was not as flavorful as I am used to, but I added some sauces. I will return to try other phở flavors soon.

Favorite phở place in COS out of the 5 or 6 I’ve been to. Identical menu as Phở Viet I, but a much cleaner restaurant and better neighborhood. Food is good, service is quick and the wait staff(usually the same lady) is friendly. Only downside is they don’t serve alcohol. I like me some Asian beer with my Phở! If I definitely want beer with my meal, I go to Saigon Springs a little ways down Academy, but this place is my default go-to phở restaurant.

Excellent food! The owner was busy as a bee trying to help the full house they had that day and still managed to get to me in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend. Check me out @

Ok for Colorado Springs this phở place is pretty good. Ordered their pork egg rolls and a phở tai. I love the egg roll wrapper they use. I don’t know what it’s called but it basically bubbles up when fried, sounds weird but it taste good lol. Their dipping sauce was ok though wish it was more flavorful though. As for their phở tai the broth was good but was lacking in flavor as well. Nothing hoisin sauce couldn’t fix though! Service was quick so I’m happy about that! Will I be back? Sure, just gotta be on that side of town though lol.

Love this place. Haven’t hit a lot of the other Phở spots in Colorado Springs… mainly because there’s no need to. Phở Viet II is all I need. Simple, reasonably priced, large orders, and good service. Give them a try.

Definitely the best Vietnamese I’ve found in the Springs so far. At first glance I didn’t trust this place; I hadn’t been to the original Phở Viet and thought when I walked in, «This place is far too clean, the food will probably suck.» My favorite Vietnamese restaurant is a hole in the wall in Orlando. Phở is super good; broth is clean tasting with no fatty scum floating around. I usually get the funkier stuff, like tripe, tendon, etc. Pork bun is excellent as well, with plenty of fresh veggies and yummy grilled pork. Spring rolls are passable but nothing special. The service is excellent for a Vietnamese restaurant, meaning the guy at least asks how your food is and brings it out quickly. I’m used to going to restaurants where they barely make audible grunts at you that sort of sound like words. Definitely keep coming back here; quality is excellent for the price.

I ate here the day after their grand opening and was not disappointed! I had the small bowl of Phở Tai Gau(phở with steak & fat brisket), which was more than enough to fill me up. It was really flavorful and the side veggies were more than I could fit in my bowl! The prices here are very reasonable, with small phở bowls starting at $ 5.95. I recall seeing a sign for a weekday lunch special for $ 4.99 phở as well, though that may be a limited special since they just opened — I will update this review the next time I visit. I grabbed a to-go menu on the way out. They have a wide variety of appetizers, salads, phở, bun, and rice dishes, as well as boba tea and other drinks. Overall, the atmosphere is what you would expect from a phở restaurant — clean, but very simply furnished/decorated. The staff was quick and very attentive — my water glass was never empty and I was able to get in and out in less than 20 minutes. I’m reserving the five-star rating until I’ve visited a few more times to gauge the consistency of the service and quality of their other dishes, but I really recommend phở-lovers to try this restaurant — other than Lemongrass Bistro, it is the only place to get a bowl of phở on the north side of the Springs.
