This place is okay. It’s a Chicago bar with a lot people who come to watch bears and leave. I came to watch football on Sunday. If I felt more comfortable and welcomed i would of had some drinks all day and had a decent tab. But all I did was eat a chicken sandwich which was good and a soda and watched the morning games. A guy had a pamphlet with who knows what that he was passing around, seemed like he owned the place or worked there. He just looked at me then handed it off to the next person again still not feeling welcomed. I decided to check in on Facebook and joke about how it was a bears bar, yuck, to joke amongst my friends and guess what happens. Somebody with access to their Facebook account comments on my status. All they said was we do what have to do kind sir but it sickened me. I came alone, didn’t feel welcomed originally and now somebody comments on my status and now I feel real uncomfortable. That was weird creepy stuff and I’ll never go back because of it. Good thing I don’t live out here. Other then that they do have food, Sunday nfl ticket so all the games are on, waitresses are nice but everybody else sucks. Sound for the games is on. Everytime the bears score they play the bears song. Thank god they lost. I’ll add a star for that.

Great place to catch all the Chicago games. There’s a huge screen showing the Chicago games, and you can catch other games throughout different areas. I’m a big fan of the Teriyaki Burger. They also have a lot of Chicago food specialties, including Chicago pizza and hot dogs.

This is a nice sports bar. It was quiet enough that we could hear ourselves talk, with occasional outbursts from a poker-playing group at the next table. Their biggest screen is a projection type affair that is probably due to be replaced. The picture was washed out even though the ambient light was not great. Other sets were on the small side, but plentiful. Their was one larger set with a good picture on the opposite wall, but it could stand to be a bit larger. Didn’t sample the food, but the drinks were adequate and fairly priced. We were just all so happy because we had come from dinner at Good Company that was so loud the we could not carry on a conversation. We will be back to sample the food at one of our Tuesday meetings.

I’m sorry but this place was not very good. Food was eatable but not enjoyable. It was smelly like cigarettes.

The only reason to go here is that it’s really cheap. They have happy hour specials every night of the week(see pic). Besides the cheap prices, expect a very diverse crowd… aka it could be a rough crowd.

Nothing special about this bar, service was so-so. Food was mediocre, hot wings weren’t hot. Won’t go out of my way to go here again.

So, I really really wanted to like this place. I wanted it to be a place that my husband and I could come on a regular basis. We just moved to the Springs from the Chicago suburbs and when I heard this place is right near our new house I was pretty excited, knowing that the owners are from Chicago.(I AMHOMESICK.) We actually heard about this place from a manager at one of the Village Inn restaurants in the area because he said that this is where the best Chicago style food is– especially the Italian beef sandwich. When I looked them up online I was thrilled that they serve Chicago deep dish pizza on Sundays and Mondays(because we have NOT been able to find pizza like we are used to anywhere in the Springs so far!) So we went last Monday night for dinner, hoping for the Chicago deep dish pizza. After a while, we found out that they didn’t have any available that night; that something happened with the dough and they didn’t have any. We were bummed! I ended up with a Chicago hotdog(so-so) with fries(AWESOME– thin and kind of crispy). My husband got the Italian beef and said it was one of the best he’s ever had. The server was pretty nice(she was right about how good the fries were). We went again this Monday night wanting to try again for the pizza. I even called ahead to ask if they were going to have it and the guy said yes, and apologized for last Monday. We got there and sat down(I think you sit where you want to– there’s no one to greet you– it’s a super casual place) and the bar had people all around it and some guy was swearing about the juke box not working and it was a little tense. I think the bartender went and asked the guy to leave and then came up to us and other tables and apologized. He asked us what we wanted to drink(there were no menus for even the drinks) and then he went to go get them. He was serving probably 20 people at once and sometimes actually ran to different tables. He said he’d be back but we waited about 15 more minutes and he never came to take our order. He was obviously busy but we had told him we wanted to order the pizza which takes a long time(30 – 45 minutes) so we thought he’d come back soon. We didn’t see anyone else working. Our table was dirty and there were flies that wouldn’t leave us alone. No one else in the restaurant or bar seemed to have food and we felt out of place and just decided to leave. We left the money for our half-finished drinks on the table and left. I don’t think anyone noticed. We were disappointed. On our way out, after being there a little over half an hour, we saw the server from last Monday walking into the restaurant, maybe to start her shift. This place isn’t in great shape and we aren’t really into sports(though last week they had some quarterback bingo game going on and people seemed to be having fun with it) and it doesn’t seem very clean and we probably wouldn’t go here except for our connection to Chicago. But after two kind of disappointing tries we think we’re going to take a break and look for other places in the area.

I would have never known about this place because: A) I live in Denver B) It’s very unsuspecting in a random strip mall Which works just fine because nothing really wowed me about this place. I went here with a friend to watch WVU play because thats where the alumni group in COS watches the games and it was just a meh experience. Besides the bartender, there was only one other girl working the entire place and the service wasn’t great. She would stop by every now and then but I had to reach out to get refills, order and she didn’t know what the drink specials of the day were(on football Saturday, what gives??) The menu was decent and they had a lot of bar food favorites(especially Chicago dogs since they are a Chicago bar) but 10 wings for $ 9? I don’t think so. I like how they have have a combo where you can choose two from the appetizer list. Besides that and the huge tv, those were the only two redeeming qualities of Overtime.
