I am sitting here right now still attempting to get the food we already paid for. I would feel bad for the waitress, and we even tried to help her and give her the benefit of the doubt, but she had the nerve to loose her temper on me. Food is decent at best. Service is beyond dysfunctional. Go to La Baguette instead.

Seriously so beyond disappointed. I’ve been sick all day with headache and sore throat and body aches and the only thing that sounded good was French Onion Soup but we live out in Falcon so I looked up this place and decided to try it. I had my husband call ahead of time to make sure they were open and that they had soup knowing it’s a Holiday. Girl on phone said we are open and have soup. Perfect! I drag myself to the car and my husband so sweetly drives me and my toddler to get soup. Pull up at 4:02 and a girl says sorry we are closed(at 4) and won’t even let us get a thing of soup TOGO. Are you kidding me?! I understand closing early on Holidays, hence why we called, but it was NEVER even mentioned! How unprofessional!!! And just rude honestly. Needless to say we will not be wasting our time with this place ever again… thanks for nothing…

I’m not a big reviewer but this place deserves it. The food was great and satisfying. I had the veggie Benedict which was very flavorful and filled me up pretty well. Not too much or too little. On a separate visit(I’ve been three or four times) I had a croissant sandwich and that was fantastic and the bread corners were perfectly crispy. I recommend this place if you want good, medium light food. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a cool place with«sex appeal», this isn’t it. It’s basic inside, but the food makes up for it.

This is a great little spot to grab a quick breakfast/lunch. Lots of healthy and delicious options. Breakfast croissant with ham and Swiss is amazing.

I eat here every month I’m in town for work, sometimes multiple times. Yes, the décor and location is totally weird and not French at all. However, the food is delicious. I’m stuck in a very happy rut getting a quiche of the day with the tomato/mozzarella salad. It’s served with a giant hard roll that reminds me of my days living in Europe. I typically get a couple chocolate croissants to take with me back home. They are so good warmed up! I call ahead and get takeout and it’s usually ready pretty quickly. It’s always fresh and hot and everything I need is in the bag. I’m a big fan!

Unilocal got me here to try food that could allegedly rival ‘Paris Crêpe’ or ‘La Baguette’. I don’t know if it was just a terrible day or if this is what I should expect every time I come here. The décor is American fast food meets a 10-year-old’s interpretation of Paris, but this has no bearing on my rating, just a sidenote. The food. I went with the eggs benedict; I wish I hadn’t. Eggs weren’t poached, but a shade away from hard boiled. Croissant it was served on was cold. Hollandaise was broken and I don’t know if there was a sale on lemons at the market, but I had every lemon in Colorado thrown into the(attempted) hollandaise. Everything looked so good, so we tried to see if their pastries could salvage the trip. Cream cheese croissant and chocolate croissant it is. We saw them sitting in the pastry basket and assume they’d throw it in the convection oven for a few but they told us to sit at our table and they’d bring them over. More than 10 minutes later we received the stone cold croissants and couldn’t even finish them. I really wanted to like this place, but I guess you can’t win em all.

My second visit here, i tried the eggs benedict for their saturday brunch which comes with a drink, fresh fruit plate, and side of herbed potatoes. I like how they bring each item out to you rather than all at once. Fruit plate first, then main benedict dish. I also like the casual café atmosphere where u can choose ur own seating, this is a great place to relax with a newspaper or book.

Every time we have been here the food has been excellent. Any breakfast on the menu is $ 5.75 and the beverages are very reasonable. The quiches, eggs Benedict and French toast are some of our favorites. They have amazing looking pastries if that tickles your fancy!

Went for lunch on a weekday. I didn’t realize it is a ‘walk up to order and sit down and have your food brought to your table’ kinda place. It was busy but we didn’t wait long in line to order or to receive our food. My friend ordered the beef bourguignon and I got french onion and a french salad. All the ingredients on my salad were fresh and there was enough salad to share(not huge). The soup was heavenly. Not too cheesy, although a bit heavy on the salt. I have attempted making french onion soup at home a few times, and mine doesn’t compare with this version. I Definitely want to come back for more of this! My friend’s beef dish was awesome. The beef we were able to cut with a fork. Gravy, beef, carrot, noodle ratio was just right. Can’t wait to come back again to try more things on the menu.

Insanely delicious french onion soup. The tortellini in the cream sauce is an amazing indulgence. Rich, decadent and a great price. A bit crowded at lunch time but always worth the wait

What is French about this place: the kitschy dime store crap on the wall, including the requisite mini Eiffel Tower. What is not French: everything else. If you like crummy omelets and stale food service made pastry, this is your place. Also, what’s with the plate of random fruit before the meal? Is that supposed to be French? You know the owner thinks it is and brags to all his europhile pals about it, perhaps pronouncing«fruit» with some pretentious faux-French accent. «Woooouuuld you laaaake some fruuuuuuuite mon ami? Come to my bistro!!!» Here’s a concept: drop the pretension and cook me a meal I somewhat enjoy. Until then, I’m going somewhere else. It appears from the empty restaurant that everybody else has done the same. This is a Vichy-French restaurant at best. I’d suggest naming an entrée for Marshall Pétain or perhaps for Ayatollah Komeini, whom the French sheltered and supported. Edit: now we’re arguing over $ 2 of potatoes. I hope this pretentious dumpster fire of a restaurant goes out of business soon.

I’ve been here a few times and have always enjoyed my meal. The breakfast is delicious. They have wonderful combinations of omelets. Their croissants are decadently buttery and flaky. I am a fan of the Benedict breakfast plates, and here at La Tartine it is the best I have ever had in Colorado. The perfectly poached eggs lays gently cradled in the lightest most fluffiest puff pastry I have ever consumed. Bön appetite

This was the first place we ever ate — I needed coffee and grabbed a few croissants — when my husband was here interviewing. Now, my husband and I come here for breakfast pretty frequently on the weekends. Food: 5 stars. I often get an omelette or the eggs Benedict. They’re both fantastic. The omelette is a true omelette — thin real eggs(nothing fake) made into a pouch with the goodies(and they always pack it full) inside. The Benedict they use a croissant instead of a English muffin, which I love. The hollandaise is great. And I love the shredded ham. And my husband always gets the scramble with waffles. They make it all there. There’s a noticeable difference between this place and even say a place like the Egg and I. They breakfasts come with fruit. And I instead of a side with mine, I get a croissant — which is a bit of a surcharge but SO worth it. The croissants are to die for. Haven’t had lunch or dinner here yet, but their menu looks amazing. Oh, the eclairs are delicious, too. And I always get a fresh baguette to take home. Décor: It’s a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy. But there is some French country décor. And it’s always clean. Service: Always spot on. I’ve never had a long wait. And the employees are always really friendly.

We had to wait 42 minutes for our food which is unacceptable. We also had to wait quite some time to order. Also, they had no potatoes, so i didnt get the scramble i wanted cuz i didnt want it without potatoes. However, the cream cheese croissant was very good, best ive had. French toast was OK, thin bread, not thick like the pics. Breakfast croissant was good. Overall great food but awful wait, nice people though. I’m giving a 4 only because their croissants are the best and that should count for something, and even though service was extremely slow, they weren’t rude about it.

I do not understand what is the hype for this place. We went there for brunch the french onion soup is dead sea salty so I asked for the other soup, corn chowder and this one tasted and looked like microwaved milk with frozen corn sprinkled w/dried parsley. Ohhh and the quiche is equally as awful. Eggs tasted like spongy cardboard. The only thing that is decent is coffee. I think that its really an insult if you serve very bad food for ridiculous prices.

Seeing the name of this place and trying to be sophisticated, I feel like I should like it, but I don’t. I ordered eggs benedict, it was a misnomer, it should have been named EGG benedict. Just one egg for the usual price of two. It came on a croissant instead of an english muffin. I didn’t like that either because the croissant just broke into little pieces and it was tough to get hold of with a fork. The hollandaise sauce was good and the ham was wonderful thin cuts of very fresh ham. When you arrive, you stand in line and order at the counter. The line was very long and slow moving. Then you go sit down with a numbered flag at your table and they bring your order out to you. Numerous times we saw the waitress standing looking confused as to which table her arm-full of plates should go to. It took a long time for our food to come out and I was terribly disappointed by the portion size. On a positive note, they had great looking pastries on display at the counter and I will go back and try an éclair some time.
