King Soopers

Of the few times in the past year I have shopped this location it’s been hit and miss. Employees are more engaging and helpful than management but like I said it’s been hit and miss. A very busy store, even typically slow hours are packed and sometimes product seems picked over. If you’re looking for something exotic, and by Colorado Springs standards anything ‘foreign’ is exotic then you may have to plan an alternate menu or look elsewhere.

Not an extremely large store but big enough. They have a beautiful produce section and I love the fried chicken from the deli, good prepared foods. Parking is challenging sometimes.

This review is for the Floral Department.
I am from Kentucky and we have Kroger. I had to deliver fresh flowers to my friend who moved to Colorado Springs. Now the only place open on Sunday was King Soopers. I placed order for tulips with Jess in the floral dept. and she did a great job at the arrangment. Not only that, she did the delivery herself as there was no one in the store available for a Sunday delivery. I really appreciate her being so helpful. The flower bouquet was amazingly pretty. King soopers has definitely met the expectations I had as it being a part of the Kroger family. I would totally recommend it for those who want to get flowers delivered on any given day of the week including weekends when all the florist shops are closed. Thank you Jess once again!

This is the greatest neighborhood market. King Soopers has the best sales on items I need and want-​especially produce. They also have a great in-​house organic line that is affordable! The staff is the best. Everyone here is always friendly and helpful. There’s no reason to go all over town to get the things I need-​my King Sooper’s has it!

Living in Colorado, you’ll most definitely end up at one of the many King Soopers. I have shopped@plenty but this one is my favorite!
The staff are attentive & helpful. The store is always clean & organized. And they have great sales. The 50 gas points per prescription along with grocery points is awesome! I received 70 cents off @the pump last week… ikr!

I like the fact the store is open 24 hours. It is conveniently located near Ft. Carson. We have a shopping card and for the most part the prices are reasonable. The staff seems friendly. The store is always clean. The parking lot is however sometimes a hassle.

Great selections on everything, this place is huge! The prices are good with most items. I was a little disappointed to see quinoa for the price as Whole Foods. I had hope this place would be cheaper. Regardless– this grocery store is close to home, plenty of parking and the anti bacteria wipes is a great touch. You may want to avoid this place after work as it gets crowded more than usual.
And WHY is this place spelled SOOPER and pronounced Super?

Great store with good selection and very nice staff. Also great place to make new friends. My Mini Cooper attracts a lot of attention and when Cindy saw it and the Scottish flag on the back window, she made the effort to follow us into the store & introduce herself as we both have Mini’s in the same color & style and our hubby’s are both British! Gotta love the Springs — people are so friendly here! :)

My husband and I stop here as needed on our way to and from Canon City. The store has been remodeled and has more of that upscale look to it. When we come, we manage to get in and out pretty quickly. The last time we were there, the self check out lady wasn’t exactly pleasant. She seemed miffed that I didn’t go right to the check stand that she wanted me at, and then got huffy with the people next to me because they asked about a price before putting in their KS card. She seems to be the exception, as the rest of the employees seem to be friendly and pleasant.

I continue to come back cause the customer service here is top notch. I am a huge believer that customer service can make or brake a business. I leave this location with a smile on my face, great job!

They have a good produce selection which is very important to me. If you get a rewards card you can really get good deals. Their bakery’s donuts are the cat’s pajamas (fuckin’ amazing).

Okay layout, place is pretty clean and fairly well-​stocked. They do, however, got that weird COSTCO checkout deal where you go one way and your cart goes the other way. I can’t explain it any other way, than, well, it’s weird.

Probably the busiest grocery I’ve ever shopped at on a regular basis. Good prices, and the store is always cleaned and reasonably well stocked. Be warned that if you go in there late (I’m talking late by Colorado Springs standards, which seems to mean after 8:00 PM), you will have to dodge the stockers… but they are also handy for helping you find stuff are bringing out items that they might have run out of. Checkers are quick and efficient most of the time and the produce is much more reliable and affordable than Safeway. And it doesn’t smell like fish (a bonus, after visiting the Albertson’s down the street).

I like this grocery store. It’s convenient and everyone who works there is friendly enough. It’s also well organized and has a good selection of things. A pretty decent organic selection too if that’s your thing.
When it comes down to it, its a grocery store. You’re probably going to shop here or not shop here no matter what I say.

This is the only King Soopers I’ve ever been to, but it’s a pretty good grocery store. It’s a lot like the nicer Safeway grocery stores, if you’re familiar with those. It’s not like Whole Foods or Balducci’s, but it’s not a run down place.
A lot of people work at this grocery store, which is surprising. The service is well above average here. You get the weird sense when you’re shopping here that the employees who you ask for help from actually care about getting you the help you need. Weird! Also, this place has 6 self check out terminals that have been in working order for the last 2 months as far as I’ve seen. Check outs are quick.
The chart hanging from the ceiling showing you which aisle to go to for certain items has been inaccurate for a while. Being new to the neighborhood, this error has caused me a few minutes of wasted time. No fun.
The deals are really good here. My family has a savings card here, which has helped us save a lot of money. We’ve saved 48% on groceries during on of our bigger runs. As Charlie Sheen would say, we’re winning.
Not perfect, I’m picky about giving out 5 stars, but this place is great.
