Joey’s Pizza

Love to go here for lunch. It’s quick and easy and the food is very good. The prices are more than reasonable. The only issue that I’ve ran into is that the service is less to be desired. They seem to be slow and lethargic. They take their sweet time and will not bring your order out sometimes.

Tried joeys for the first time the other day. So impressed with the service and quality of food! We had antipasto salad and calzones — couldn’t have found more delicious options for dinner. Customer service was great, they ended up making me a unique pizza based off of my favorite tastes. Highly recommend!

I was very pleasantly surprised by how great there service and food was at Joeys. I have been in the past and while the food has always been amazing, the service was lacking a little, but those issues have certainly been resolved. Everyone was so nice and courteous and made the dinner for my daughter and incredibly enjoyable, very happy I gave them another chance, I’ll certainly be returning soon!!!

Bleh I wanted to love this pizza but the cheese is wayyyy too salty. Like saltiest pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The delivery was fast and the crust and sauce are good so it’s a shame that the cheese messes it all up.

Great food but don’t order delivery if you are paying cash and don’t have exact change. Their drivers carry no change. I normally give delivery drivers $ 3 – 5 as a tip but ended up giving him an $ 8 tip just to get my food because he didn’t have change.

Joeys is a great pizza place. Pizza is very close to pizza from the east coast, strombolis are the best I have had in Colorado.

Joey’s has pretty good pizza. We all loved the garlic knots. The staff was friendly and helpful with deciding what to order. The big apple fed 4 of us and we took 4 slices home. We will definitely be back to try the subs.

I have never had an experience like this. It’s almost unexplainable. They told us they were running slow like 30 mins. We said we can do that. After an hour we asked if we could at least have our slices for my 8 year old. They disappeared, I then asked for manager she then came up clapped her hands at me wanting my answer quickly if I wanted a refund. I said yes. she took off again, and then I said can I please have my refund. She then came back and she took my credit card after another 5 minutes she came back and threw the card and refund back at me. I asked if she could explain to me what she refunded me, and she took off… I really feel like I was on candid camera. I cannot believe this experience. I will be calling and trying to speak to the owner because this was totally uncalled for.

We used to love eating here. Up until a few weeks ago when we ordered a pizza and we started eating it we found pieces of plastic packaging in the pizza. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again that next week, this time they got our whole order wrong and when I called back to let them know the girl that answered the phone was so extremely disrespectful and rude about the whole situation that I just gave up. That was strike 2. The last and final strike was last Sunday night when we ordered a very simple pizza, a 24 inch pizza with white sauce and sausage which is what we usually get. They got the order wrong again and when we called in to tell them the young lady named cat told us she’s give it’s a free pizza the next night. So we called Joey’s last night to get our free pizza and cat was nowhere to be found. When I spoke to the disrespectful and rude girl that works there she was being very rude to me and after I asked about my pizza she said «I have to call cat to make sure we can make that. Can I get your name and number and I’ll call you back» never called me back. I could careless about the pizza. Whole thing was more about how they were rude and not keeping their word. I thought they were the best pizzas in town for awhile but now I say FORGET JOEY’S! Boriello brothers and Louie’s pizza is the best! Do not eat here they drop plastic packaging into your pizza and they won’t make things right if they mess up your order.

Ordered Delivery, was told 50 – 55 minutes. 1.5 hours later with no call/​apology. Then doubled charged me for delivery. Pizza and garlic knots was cold and yucky. Averaged one pepperoni on a slice. I would give negative stars if possible.

Don’t believe the haters! This pizza is amazing! We literally eat here at least once a week and I’m not even a fan of pizza! Their sauce is so flavorful and robust!

Some of the best pizza in Colorado Springs, and that’s saying something. Genuine NY pizza, and the restaurant has an authentic feel.
Their lunch special gets you a large slice and drink for $ 4. I’ve been here three times and haven’t waited more than 5 minutes for food.

I was looking for somewhere to get slices for a late lunch and remembered that Joey’s had what I was looking for.
I ordered 2 slices and a drink. Keep in mind that they leave out their pies (for slices only) all day, then they warm up the slices. I was so hungry that this didn’t bother me, however both slices were given to me luke warm, not close to the proper temp, and when I asked them to warm up the one slice, it felt like I was asking too much.
There pizza is usually very good, only today did I notice that the manager and staff were not the friendliest of people, and they are overpriced for stale pizza slices. I learned my lesson.

Thin, crisp slices with minimum sauce. Just the way it should be. Possibly best NY style pizza in the Springs. Their anti pasta salad is top shelf as well.

I had the worst experience that I have had with ordering from a pizza place at this location. I will NEVER order again, and I want to be sure that everyone knows about this bad experience. I only expect two things
From a pizza place. 1). That a pizza will be ready when I’m told that it will be and 2). If it’s not ready, that the restaurant will be honest with me when I walk in. On a Saturday night, I phoned in an order and was told 15 – 20 minutes. I arrived at the 25 minute mark, and was charged for my order and the counter person told me «it will be just a minute.» 20 minutes went by, and I approached the counter to ask how much longer as I had people waiting for me at my house, and the counter person walked away without answering me. I asked again, and he went to look for the ticket. The manager, Katherine, came out, and instead of apologizing for telling me it would be 15 minutes, when it had been 40 and the pizza still wasn’t ready, she began yelling at me. At that point, I did go a little NY, as she was yelling at me, and demanded a refund. She then continued yelling at me that I was arguing with her, even though I hadn’t said anything in at least 2 minutes. It was the worst experience that I have EVER had with a pizza place. That manager should be fired, and Joey should know that he just lost the business of at least 20 people that were anxiously waiting at my house to try his pizza.
**As an update, despite not receiving my pizza or wings, the charge still remains on my card and has not yet been refunded. I have had to file a dispute of charges with my bank.**. Very poor business practices!

This is a place where the customer comes last. I would review the food but I can’t! I placed an online order at 8:20PM (mind you, they close at 9:00). I get a call back 20 minutes later from the manager informing me that they weren’t going to be able to fill my order for delivery since their driver was already out. They said if I’d called at the same time I would have the same response. I’ve called plenty of pizza places with 10 – 15 minutes left before closing and they still delivered, no complaints. Of note, this has now happened to me twice! They could have the best pizza in town, but with the crappy customer service, I’ll never get the bad taste out of my mouth! Whoever the owner is, they should fire that manager!

So here I am an 1 hour and 20 minutes after making my order completely disappointed. One reason being that when I finally received the pizza at one hour and ten mins it was cold. Secondly when I call to see how we can fix it we are faced with excuses such as «well it shouldn’t be cold». Well I have to say this when you place a standard such as the 20 – 30 presented to me. You are obligated to follow said standards. Not once did I receive an apology he basically just shrugged it off and asked «what I want «. What ashame I went from being a fan to someone who will never bring business to this establishment again. Joey you should be disgusted on how Your business is being run considering your master chef status.

Easily the best place for pizza that I’ve found in the Springs. Not only do they actually have slices, which is apparently a foreign concept, the pizza is also delicious. Been here twice and both times I was thoroughly satisfied. I recommend the white garlic with ricotta or the Grandma Sadie’s.

Excellent NY pizza. (And I’m from east coast– fulfilled my «homesickness» lol)
We had a cheese pizza, hot wings and Cannoli’s for dessert.
Everything was excellent!
Delivery was fast too.
Definitely returning :)

Had the margarita and the pepperoni both are extra good. Feels like I’m down town.
