Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs-First & Main

After spending 22 weeks in and out of this place for a project I was working on I can honestly say. They earned their five starts. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t the Broadmoor or Ritz Carlton but they consistently provided a quality, clean and modern room week after week.
The staff was always very kind and helpful and would go above and beyond to help me out if I was in a pinch. Rooms can be tough to come by so reserve early as they fill up quickly.
A few things to note:
–The Wifi is exceptional for a hotel. Typically 30 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up.
–They do not have a hot tub, bummer but it is what it is.
–They have great coupons for free stuff at the front desk, just ask.
–Breakfast is provided. It’s the standard Holiday Inn breakfast program which I don’t care for but they present it as well as it can be presented. Area is always clean and well stocked and foods are always fresh.

This hotel is actually well taken care of, great service but the best part is the location.
Perfect for date nights, family nights or if you’re single there are people walking all around the town center all day and night.

New build and a nice location in a shopping center with a cinema, coffee shops, restaurants, and stores within walking distance. The front desk staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, juice, coffee, yogurt and toast. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds and a fold out couch bed. The linens were all white, fresh, and clean and the bed was comfortable. They have an indoor pool which was small and had terrible echoes of any sounds so if kids are playing and making noise it is almost impossible to hold a conversation. The restroom was spacious and clean and they have Bath and Body Works products for shampoo, conditioner and lotion. We used the guest laundry once. It is $ 1.75 for a wash and $ 1.50 for the dryer. The hotel mini store has a box of soap for $ 2.00 and dryer sheets for $ 2.00. It was a pricey load! We enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel. I stayed for just one night but it was great. Bed was really comfortable, the room was nice, bathroom was nice and it’s location in the middle of a shopping complex was great. Nothing to complain about
