STAY AWAY-you WILL regret it after. I haven’t been to Golden Corral in several years, I knew it wasn’t going to be cheap. but I honestly thought the food would be better. On television commercials they talk about prime baby back ribs, steak, gourmet fish, NONE of that was here. I went there at 5pm. dinner time, the only real meat they had was ham, which of course was average at best. The selection of food was absolutely terrible. and I mean terrible with a capital T. Dessert was good. but man. And the real kicker. there was 3 adults in my party total, with military discount… $ 47…not including tip. Forty-seven big American fucking dollars. Think about all the food I could have bought at the store with that. The three of us could have filled our stomachs on the mcdonalds dollar menu for $ 10. We were hungry and it was my mothers birthday and we wanted to go out. How on earth can this place make any money whatsoever? People go there, spend a crazy amount of money and never come back, it’s like a gym membership., they know you aren’t going to come back so they want to get as much money out of you when you sign up as possible.

This buffet visit was chock full of FIRSTS man. First off, I wasn’t at any point completely repulsed, so that’s sort of a first. The KC Masterpiece ribs were pretty good actually, and every fish selection was cooked properly and tasted great which for me was also a massive first. The fried okra was hot and crispy, the mashed potatoes *and the gravy* tasted proper, and the cornbread was moist and tasted right: ALLFIRSTS. Okay so I wasn’t floating up in the air in rapturous ecstasy, it was probably one of the better buffet experiences I’ve ever had!

We spent $ 37 for my husband and 2 kids to eat which I believe is a ripp off. I get it it’s all you can eat but the food was gross. I’m not a fan of buffets but my husband wanted to try it out. I asked for a steak medium well when I brought it back to the table it wasn’t cooked at all so I didn’t eat it. What a waste My kids did like the desert bar they were very excited about all the choices they could choose from. We won’t be returning to Golden Corral ever again!

Food is usually good if they refill containers. Waiters are nice. Front counter people are almost always rude — especially cashier. Plus if you’re a senior watch out. Sometimes they try to charge full price when you’re very obviously senior. The lady tonight was very rude when my husband asked her if that was the senior price. Front counter people should be super nice since they’re the first impression people get.

Last night came for just a change, Food was ok and lots of variety. Nothing outstanding but place was full with large people! 2 seniors was $ 25.00 with no beverage so not cheap for volume. It was OK, nothing more.

This was the second time I have visited a Golden Corral. The first time was several years ago at another location. When GC offered a free meal to Veterans, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. As a Vietnam Era Vet, I sure do appreciate being appreciated for a change. This meal was far improved to my first visit. They had an amazing selection of food and everything that I tried was very tasty. The steak was very good, equal to others that I paid a lot more for. I am glad they had the deal and I will be back again.

I’ve never been to a Golden Corral before. I never have high hopes for buffets. It is what it is, a buffet. Some of the food was pretty salty. At least I didn’t get sick afterwards!

It’s been awhile since I have been here but they have gotten better with their food, I came while they were serving steak and wings, it was ok but it’s a buffet so u can’t expect to much!

most of the food was kind of salty but loved the hush puppies and steak! There is a lot to choose from from meats, sides, desserts, salads and fruits. The price is very inexpensive as well!

I know understand why Americans are so unhealthy and overweight. I have not been to one of these places in probably 10 years. We chose it because we thought my kids(3&5) might enjoy the variety and not having to wait. I was very surprised at how terrible everything was. I remember large abundant salad bars and decent selections. The spinach was rotting and the shrimp was as pink as a hot pink crayon. I was repulsed by the color of the«shrimp». The kids did like that there was a lot of different things to choose from. All of the food was floating in some sort of heavy sauce. I went toward the fish. It as either fried or in a heavy sauce all of the food was salt and butter laden. My husband had a biscuit that as hard as nails and I had a roll that was obviously dried out from yesterday. I got a Kick out of the recipe pictures around the room such as «carrot cake: ingredients, carrot cake mix, shredded carrots and cream cheese frosting». Wow… Don’t sell us any secrets guys. It is a shame that everything is now crap. Everyone in the place was unhealthy and large. It was a sad state of affairs. The service was terrible too… Plates were left stacked on our table. A family of 4 cost us $ 37.00… I was shocked at the price and what was offered. It was crap. This surprised me because in years past I recall attentive service. It’s too bad because these places used to be ideal for families. Now it’s just down right disgusting. I’m hopeful that is might be location specific. But I was really disappointed.

we used to come here ALLLL the time when my kids were younger. and we recently went again, for the first time in years! we went on thanksgiving night(no we are not 65 years old) and it was actually quite nice. we went at about 5ish and they closed at 6. there was still plenty of yummy food and when we were done, we waddled out like a couple of stuffed turkeys!

Wow, has this place ever gone downhill since we last visited a year ago! So much closer for us than Powers location, but now would rather drive more than eat here again. $ 11.99 for a «senior discount» — what a crock. Greasy, overcooked food, absolutely lousy table service, and the roast beef was so raw it mooed when I walked by… and I love med rare! Really awful compared to what it used to be… must be «new» management at this location. Go to Powers location instead.

Had a small party(3⁄08) and have to give kudos to GC for providing a private room at no extra charge. Showed up early but the room was ready for us. The service was much better than when we usually dine there. The waitress(Yo#g) was friendly and was constantly clearing plates and filling drinks. Since it was dinner time the food was turning over quickly so it was fresh and, for a buffet, taste was better than average. A couple of food items weren’t great but it’s a buffet so you just try something else. Manager greeted us and did a great job of helping to direct our guests. Overall a good choice for us at a reasonable price.

Want to feel skinny and fit? Eat Here! You will be surrounded by fat people gorging themselves for hours. I am not astonished that they run out of plates all the time. The steaks are always salty as hell. The chicken is tasteless. I guess people like it because of the huge selection of average food. They can eat as much as they want too. It just kind of makes me ill.

I would recommend going to the other Golden Corral off of powers. Selection is much better and service as well; the whole time we were at this restaurant, our plates were never picked up and we ended up having one side of our table stacked with it…

I’ve definetly had better. Lower version of home town buffet. Golden corral didn’t meet the hype that I read on them. Place was clean and great waitresses. but the food was Just meh. Empty trays of food, trays of old food. Maybe we went at a bad time? 1:30pm. Had lots of unhappy customers with similar complaints that day. May give it another try before I leave Colorado. **decently priced ** casual attire ** good service

For about $ 10 a person to have whatever they want to eat. The food is good and the servers are attentive. The food is not spectacular but if your party has multiple picky eaters, and you don’t need a 5 star dining experience, it’s good. I like the hot rolls!
