Great pizza, great service! Like all the options and of course the Napolese style. Will definitely make this a regular stop.

Came here based on all the good reviews. Unfortunately the staff did not seem polite at all, especially considering that’s what everyone raves about. Second, the pizza has to be finished almost instantly or it becomes soggy from the tomatoes! Not sure if we hit it on a bad day, but there are definitely better pizza options on the north end of the Springs.

Took the family here tonight, and had 2 cheese pizzas, a margherita pizza and a BBQ chicken as well as a salad. Compared to the other pizza joints in Monument(which isn’t saying much), I thought it was very good. The salad was very fresh and just the right amount of dressing. All the pizzas were cooked great and my kids ended up eating the BBQ chicken pizza over plain cheese. There could be some improvements made in seasonings and spices, but overall, it was a great experience and we’ll be coming back. Also, I thought the service was great.

I love Duca’s, relatively inexpensive, great authentic Italian pizza, and a great atmosphere. I wish they had a couple other locations!

Amazing, cheap, and fast. Will come again the next time I travel out here. I wish we had places like this at home.

My son and I tried to eat here twice during my recent visit to Colorado, but on the night I got into town(Wednesday), they were closed when we arrived shortly after 8pm. We returned the following Sunday at around 5pm hungry for a Neapolitan pizza, but they were again closed so we gave up on Duca’s. How is the pizza? No idea and I guess I will never know because they will not be open long if paying customers arrive to find the doors locked. CombatCritic Gives Duca’s 1 Bomb Out Of 10 … You Know The Rest!

If you like Italian style pizza like they make in Italy this place can’t be beat. The cannoli is a steal at $ 1, and they have Stella on tap. That’s enough to make me come back, but the airy thin crust on the delectable brick oven pizza seals the deal. The sumptuous chocolatey nutella dessert stole the show from the pizza, I thought, and was an irresistible sight dusted with powdered sugar. You must try it.

We went in late and ordered the Quatro formaggi, consisting of mozzarella, provolone, gorgonzola, ricotta, chopped rosemary and cherry tomatoes on a light but not doughy crust. No sauce, but what it comes with is all one needs for this perfect pie. The staff was bright and helpful, even though it was close to closing time.

I’m always excited to try pizza that is cooked in a wood fire oven. I’m not a fan of pizza in general but last year I did have an amazing wood fire cooked pizza in Italy and I haven’t found a pizza joint even ½ has good as that pizza. This place comes close. I liked the fresh basil. My suggestion for improvement is that the pizza was slightly wet. It seems to be coming from an overly wet sauce, but it’s hard to tell for sure. My 7 year old son said«It’s the best pizza he has ever had». So I’ll be back.

I love this place! When I order pizza it usually comes from here. I haven’t had anything bad and the prices are very reasonable. I have had: Margarita pizza-plain but tasty and inexpensive Buffalo pizza-has a good amount of heat and ranch The duke-lots of toppings and fresh The BBQ pizza-sweet BBQ sauce The Mediterranean salad-so big and fresh, great dressing

I really enjoyed the Quatro Formaggio pizza, it was delicious! Just that pizza alone will get me coming back. If you are a big cheese lover like me, you’ll love this one.

The pizza @ Duca’s was fresh and delish, but the environment kind of annoyed me a bit. It was a little confusing to know what you had to get for yourself. Do I get my own plates and forks, or does my server? Does my server bring my wine, or do I have to wait at the counter for it. Ambiance is not their strong point, but their pizza definitely IS. I would order their pizza to go… maybe? I don’t know, I’d prefer a full service environment rather than a confusing one.

Super yummy!!! We finally decided to see what all the talk was about. We had a pepperoni and Margherita Pizzas , Mediterranean salad(best) and a sandwich. Definitely worth the try.

So, here is the real deal. This place could be awesome if they wanted to, but I do not see much customer service. I came back for lunch today(I am here pretty often) and they AGAIN gave me a pizza that was burnt. This happens quite often when they have ‘slow business’. You would think that you’d get better service when there are little to no customers. Turns out that a wooden oven needs to be fed constantly to be kept ready to bake. Problem is, if your pizza is the first after idle time, it WILLBURN. I did use to have a Pizzeria in Italy and I know how a wooden oven works. So today’s pizza was uneatable. It was so burned and super bitter I stopped at slice 2. I was a bit fed up by the fact that this happens VERYOFTEN, I’d say 2 times out of 5, so really they need to get their act together! It’s usually not as bad as it was today. I could not eat it for how bitter it was. So, I told the waitress. She got the son of the owner. He came over to my table and said that«that’s just the way they come out». I told him that«no, it was burnt and bitter and that he may want to consider sprinkling some salt on the oven stone to lower the temperature if he has not baked in a few minutes». He disregarded me completely and just told me AGAIN that the pizza was not burnt and that’s how they come out of the oven and was trying to blame it on the flour or something. Then he asked me if I WANTED A NEWONE. At that point aggravated I said, no. Then a minute later I realized that I just paid for a pizza that I never ate!!! :-((( When I had my own Pizzeria in Italy, if someone complained that their pizza was burnt, guess what? I would APOLOGIZE and then I would tell them that a new pizza would come to their table ASAP. I would not ASK them if they wanted a new one. That would be just automatically re-done for my customer, and since they paid AFTERTHEIRMEAL, they would also not be charged for their meal. I think that’s the least one can do to right a wrong when presenting a burnt meal. This is BAD, BADCUSTOMERSERVICE. Either they get their act together and learn how to properly operata a wood oven or they will slowly loose all the customers they gained by making pizza with outstanding ingredients. The ingredients are not enough when you burn the dough. –_– What a disappointment. Did not even offer to return the cost of my meal. Unacceptable!

We went up there for dinner on a Friday night on our way to a concert at the Air Force Academy. We ordered two pizzas and the pizzas were ‘Ok’ and by ‘Ok’ I mean just that. They weren’t bad but they could have done a better job: better quality ingredients, spices, anyhting. The sauce was weak tomato sauce, almost flavorless, and there was very little cheese on the pizza we ordered for the children. The service was really slow almost glacially so and not because they were trying to handle a rush. There were people standing around idle and when you can watch the Pizza oven due to the open kitchen concept, you get a feel for a lack of urgency on anyone’s part. I can only surmise the place is as busy as it was because of the lack of pizza options up on the extreme North End of Colorado Springs. I’ll give them another chance, but I won’t be in a hurry to do so.

Never had a bad experience here. Some of the best pizza in Colorado Springs. The owner is always super nice, knows us by name, and stops by our table to chat when he can. It’s everything you would imagine in a small business. Great for group settings or date-nights! And don’t forget to order cannoli!

The pizza here is excellent. They make it to order and it cooks in under 1.5 minutes. They have a large selection of gourmet toppings and slide it into a wood fired oven. They take very high quality, fresh ingredients and cook it properly and bring it to you quickly. I usually order the margarita pizza. It comes with crushed tomatoes, fresh basil, and fresh mozzarella. Fresh fresh fresh. This place does it right. Also the older gentleman that walks around greeting the diners is just something you don’t see anymore. You can tell that the family is proud of the product that they produce. The only downside is because of the fresh tomatoes, it tends to make the crust a little soggy if you don’t eat it quickly. If they find a way to address this issue, you are talking about one of the best pizzas in the state.

Best pizza in the Springs. Tell them to cook your pie crispy. They will custom make a sandwich for you as well. Lastly your pizza its cooked extremely fast since the oven is slight cooler then the surface of the Sun.
