How can you NOT be a fan of Del Taco? It is like an upgraded version of Taco Bell. Where Taco bell has a 7 layer burrito, Del Taco has an 8 layer burrito.
All of the ingredients were fresh and the burrito was large in size.
The tacos all came individually wrapped, but looked filling. They offer a ton of different combos too.
It is funny because this Del Taco is right next to another Mexican restaurant which looked empty, but Del Taco was packed.

I go here ever so often on Tuesdays. They have a value menu and 3 tacos for 1.29. Not a bad deal at all, definitely not my favorite but it’s good for the price.
The location can be hard to get in and out when busy during lunch. If you can go around 11 or 1, you should be good. The options are pretty vast and the fountain drinks are all Coke products.
I gave 3 stars, as it’s not my favorite fast food but if you are on a budget and want decent food, it’s your place.

Been coming for years, mostly late at night. Staff has always been friendly. Like the fact can get a burger or taco.
Owner even greeted us during dinner once. Nice touch. Like the taco tuesday deal as well. Seems higher quality than other national taco joints.

My wife turned me on to this place a little while ago while we were out in Las Vegas. The food here is so much better than Taco Bell (their food tastes so synthetic and processed!) and the prices are still cheap. Inside was nice and clean and the service was great (very patient with me when I had three rowdy kids in tow). I usually get the Macho burrito combo which is a beast to eat, especially when driving. At least if you get in an accident while stuffing your face with it you have that extra protection along with your airbag.

I’m a Del Taco fan, but this Del Taco left me wanting.
I would recommend the Steak Asada Tacos, but stay away from anything with chicken.

For fast and good Mexican food Del Taco is the best. I have yet to try something on the menu I do not like. Food is fresh. The price is right! We love the fish tacos! And their hot sauce actually is HOT!(Spicy)

I really like the food at Del Taco. Hadn’t tried this one until today. The service was sooo slow! Another man had already placed his order ahead of me and I only ordered the breakfiesta meal which consists of 2 small burritos and the hash brown sticks. It took them over 10 minutes to get my order, the guy ahead of me got his at the same time and he waited even longer! The 2 people working were in no hurry, either. I’ve never had this problem at the other location on Academy/​Austin Bluffs. If you’re in a hurry for «fast food» this is not the location for you.

It is at night, when the streets are empty and the ambient noise of the city goes to bed that I hear the siren song of Del Taco the loudest.
Got off work late the other night and I had been too busy to eat anything all day. Del Taco to the rescue! $ 6 for a chicken burrito, 2 soft tacos, and fries. I’ve been told that this is the perfect before bed meal, but for some reason that doesn’t sound right. Hmm. Oh well.
Late night (24hr) service that always seems happy to see you no matter how late/​early.

This place is a great. Whenever you can find those few restaurants that give you the customer service where you are much happier when you leave you must spread the word. This Del Taco is great. I mostly go there through the drive-​thru around 1am and I was pleasantly surprised with the great interaction with the employees, plus the food is quick

As someone who has previously lived in California, I was excited when Del Taco came to the state (and our city). We now have 4 locations to get an authentic Mexican fast-​food fix.
Del Taco offers your standard fast-​food Mexican fare of burritos and tacos but it also sells cheeseburgers and french fries. They serve breakfast and the drive-​through is open 24 hours for those late night munchies.
