Stood in line for 10 mins another cashier finally came to help but of couse that cashier decided to go look for something in the back &SLOWLY made his way… so I ended up back in the orginal line. At the start of all this there was only 2 people in front of me… it is completely crazy I waited that long & after 10 more minutes I left. Staff was completely clueless on how to check out customers & I didn’t hear an apology to the other customer who walked out before me. I will never shop there again. I bumped it up to 3 because they emailed and apologized. They obviously care enough about their customers to respond so hopefully this location gets some training and are good to go! Good Luck Cost Plus!

I have been going to World market since 1995, being German I find all kinds of chocolate, spices, sweets, etc. Around the Christmas Holidays they have the most array of sweets and the Ornaments, I could go on and on. The store has so much to offer on decorations, glassware, unique furniture, pictures. I shop there at least once a month. The staff is very attentive and always cheerful.

This store is a strange mix of various items from all over the world. Imagine a Trader Joe’s with less food and more furnature and decorations. Mostly home goods but with a small food section as well. Prices are a bit stiff, I’d say a 20% mark up, but it does look like a there are a bunch of cool food finds I haven’t seen locally. The store is super clean and we’ll organized and the staff seemed happy to assist with anything we needed.

I will always love this store. The staff are so nice and really helpful. The shelves are clean and well organized, and the prices are decent. I can always find something interesting here.

Just a very cool store. I will give them 5 stars every day if they add a wine section. Last World Market I shopped in was in Olympia, WA. Best wine selection I’ve ever seen. Come on, upgrade people!

I love this store so much! They have great root beer and kitchen supplies! Also nice dishes. I wish less of their stuff was made in China, but that’s my only complaint. They have an excellent tea selection and also coffee flavors. You can find espresso syrups. They have excellent dining room sets I bought mine there. It’s solid real wood and unique.

Thank you Cost Plus for having the Tim Tams I need so desperately to send to my sister, the Peppermint Bark I need to send to my friend who’s feeling blue, and awesome gluten free lime chips for my tummy. I can spend hours and hours learning how to take apart the cool new little knick knacks, staring at the beautiful handmade Indonesian furniture and imagining how to pair it with the jeweled Thai throw pillows. Thank you for keeping the requisite papasan chair so I can plop my butt down for the equally requisite curl in the papasan chair imagining I’m a little kid again. There are so many wonderful gift ideas, colorful gift boxes, and stocking stuffer type items. It never gives me the«white bread Pottery Barn» feel and never gets tacky like Pier 1 and somehow floats right in the middle. Where else can I get imported british Digestive cookies, handmade bracelets, organic soap, Torani syrup, a few awesome bottles of Meritage and seaweed candy? It’s a grownups dream come true!

World Market has the coolest stuff, great for décor. I bought a beautiful couch here for my dorm room, it was perfect. The world market in Colorado springs is unfortunately located on powers, where I can’t imagine any of the people who live in this area care to have goods imported from«strange lands» i.e., not commercial suburbia. Don’t venture into eastern Colorado springs, aka«east Jesus», unless you are going to world market.

Cost Plus or World Market or Cost Plus World Market? People seem to call it all of these names. I’m going to call it Cost Plus in this review. Cost Plus is sort of like Pier One, but cheaper, and with a broader variety of goods, mostly imports. They have everything from furniture to jewelry to groceries to greeting cards to dishes. Everything is very cool and very reasonably priced. The furniture tends to be heavy dark wood styles. The home décor often has an Asian flavor. There are several food items that are much cheaper here than the grocery store– my two regular purchases are olive oil and gourmet olives, both of which are about half the price of the grocery store, on par with wholesale clubs. They also have a lot of specialty products – Asian sauces, English biscuits, etc. This is also a great place to buy gifts. They usually have a large clearance selection as well. Overall, this is one of my absolute favorite places to shop. Definitely check it out!
