Food is good! Prices are good! Loved the calamari! Big tender rings — wonderfully salty– would just add a sprinkling of jalapeño slices & some green onion sprigs! Sushi is great & good price! Egg foo young — also great !

So… I have mixed feelings here. I’ve ordered a few times now and only once was I really happy. It was basically mixed veggies and garlic sauce. How can you ruin that dish, right? Today might have been the biggest disappointment. I got veggie mei fun. Simple: veggies, noodles, sauce. However, it was pretty much just a pile of noodles, some stray veggies. Maybe a couple florets of broccoli, a mushroom… no sauce. The seaweed salad was good as well as the spring rolls. I guess I was able to eat SOMETHING. Not the worst, but definitely not the best. I will say, I only ended up ordering here because it’s sunday and NaRai thai at the Broadmoor was not open, nor was Coal Mine Dragon. I needed delivery… I guess that’s my punishment for being lazy/tired. LOL.

This is our go to place for Chinese and Japanese food. I’m from Chinatown, NYC and have never found ho fun noodles since I’ve moved to CO. I was amazed to see it in the menu and done so well. Reminds me of the ho fun I used to get back home. We’ve also done all you can eat sushi here as well and never been disappointed. The fish is fresh and the rolls aren’t full of mostly rice, like some other ayce sushi places. For the quality and amount you get to eat, the price is a great value. Whether eating in or delivery, we’ve always gotten great tasting food and speedy service. Highly recommend!

The sushi rolls were all incredible, not to mention cheap! The seaweed salad comes in a martini glass, so cute. The shrimp mushu was so so good and great portions. Will absolutely come again and recommend it for a relatively inexpensive and tasty meal.

Delivery service is quick and accurate. Food is well-prepared. Proportion sizes are nice as well. Have not tried the sushi yet but overall I was impressed with my order.

I read the bad reviews when i was there. Honestly, just the dish what I try, It was awesome. The rock shrimp tempura is crispy and very tasty. I like the sauce. i also tried the blue ocean roll,i never tried shrimp tempura wrap in cucumber. And it surprised me ! Like this place, I will back soon!

I’ve been here twice, and each time I really enjoyed the meal here. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful!

This place is ok in terms of sushi. Nothing special, the fish isn’t outstandingly fresh or anything. The only reason I would recommend going at this point is because they are doing 50% all rolls as part of their«grand opening». I’m not sure how long that’s going to last, but for now it’s a really good deal. I wouldn’t pay full price for any of these rolls cause like I said there are much better places in town for the same price like Ai. The restaurant is clean inside, and service is nice but slow. I don’t know I wanted to really like this place but I ended up a little disappointed. We spent about $ 50 on rolls(we eat a lot of sushi) and at the end I was satisfied but not overly impressed. The spicy tuna was a little weird and not spicy, instead they put a sauce over it(which is also not spicy) that kind of makes it feel like crappy buffet sushi. The cuts of fish on the rolls were fairly small and didn’t have any particular taste to them. The one roll I did really like was the mango salmon because it had a nice sweet twist to it. Other than that everything was good, just not great and I personally would rather spend the money to get awesome fish. They do an all you can eat, which gives you access to all the rolls and nigiri on the menu, we just haven’t tried it. I would maybe go back, but only if they are still doing half off. I can’t imagine paying $ 100 for what we ate instead of $ 50.

As many have said, don’t judge this place by the outside! You can get a large variety of different sushi as well as Chinese and Japanese dishes. You really can’t beat the all you can eat sushi lunch or dinner prices in comparison with other restaurants in the area. The bento boxes are a great value, too. Overall, good sushi, good variety. Clean interior and the food presentation is lovely every time. Polite staff. Worth a try!

Asian Bistro has the best sushi deal, and it tastes great, too. I got three different rolls, and a salad for $ 14.99, and could have gotten more if I hadn’t been so full. My husband got Mongolian Beef, which was a lot of food and came with soup and 2 cheese wontons for under $ 7. He said it was all very good. The service was quick and very friendly. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

I cannot even begin to describe how horrible this place is. We went there and there were 3 other people in the whole restaurant, we sat, ordered our food and drinks, and then a couple more people came in. It took ANHOUR to receive any of our food, my husband got his edamame, then his nigiri, then his rolls. I got nothing. Our server NEVER stopped by to ask how everything was, I sat there with no food and when I finally saw her again and could ask, she said she forgot to put it in and would do that right away, ok no problem, we all make mistakes. 30 more minutes go by and still no food, so I ask again, «a couple more minutes» was the answer. After 10 more minutes, we asked if we could just pay for what we received and leave. It took her 10 minutes to get us checked out, and even then the bill was completely wrong, double charged for stuff, charged for stuff we didn’t even order. How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways. 1) worst service I have ever had 2) my husband says the sushi was mediocre at best 3) unapologetic staff that acts like I did something wrong for not receiving my food at the fault of the server. I will go out of my way to not recommend this place to ANYONE. «Hey you want to go hike up past Helen Hunt Falls?» «Oh for sure! I love hikes and I hate the Asian Bistro, never go there» Everyone else that left a positive review was either being paid big bucks to lie or was being forced against their will. IFYOUVALUEYOURLIFEDONOTGOHERE. It would appear that my review, along with the majority of the bad reviews for this awful restaurant are in the«not recommended review» category which are not put into the total overall score of the restaurant. I did the math, and with all the reviews combined, this restaurant should not have more than 3 stars at the absolute best.

My first impression when I first walked in was the overpowering chemical smell. It overpowered any food smells. I went ahead and ordered the Beef Teriyaki Bento Box despite my misgivings. I was very disappointed. It was cold, bland and overpriced. I won’t be back.

They Lost Two stars because of the food. Most of was flavorless and yet the fish eggs has a very horrible almost rancid flavor to them. The Chicken tempura was only flavorful after being dipped into the Miso Soup which was only booth there was hardly any seaweed or tofu in it. They Lost another star was lost due to being questions multiple times about what we had ordered and if we could eat it all. They kept a star– For the speed They got our orders in and brought stuff out relatively quickly, but we did go at 2pm on a Sunday and the place was fairly empty. The Second Star for the cleanliness of the place. It is a new location so it had better be clean but we will give them a star for that. Plus the lowest you can give is one star and I have never given the unless the service was absolutely horrible and it wasn’t horrible. They did question multiple times if we would be able to eat all that we ordered and we easily did actually if the Sushi had been tastier we might have even ordered more. As you will see most of my reviews are for Sushi places, I’m not new to Sushi growing up in Hawaii its one of my go to comfort foods.

I picked up takeout from Asian Bistro, thinking I’d give it a chance since the newness had been worn off a bit. I’m going to have to say that my theory that it’s not a good sign when a restaurant has pennants hanging outside. Portions were fine, but the food was bland. The cream cheese wontons(total guilty pleasure, don’t judge me) were baked(?) rather than fried. This gave a weird texture to the wrappers. The filling was meh. General Tso’s chicken(I had just watched the documentary and was craving some) was pretty tasteless and had a strange flavor to it. Not like it had gone bad, but just something added in the sauce that was a bit strange. Really disappointing flavor experience that gave me little desire to try it again.

First visit of many to come. We did the all you can eat sushi. The variety is spectacular, the restaurant is clean, service is attentive(without being overbearing). There is an atmosphere that doesn’t rely on chotchkies and lighting is great for dining– not the garish overhead fluorescent lighting like the place on S.Nevada. I dig this place!

I had a really nice experience! We got an awesome amount of food for 30 dollars. The sushi rolls were great for 6 and 7 dollars a roll, not super nice rolls like Jun or Ai or Fujiyama, but my wallet doesn’t hurt as much as it does when I go to higher scale sushi places. Tried the Mongolian beef, too– really liked it! Great atmosphere. We’ll be back.

The restuarant is new and I ordered a Tempura bistro box and tuna sashimi. The tempura did not even look like a japanese tempura and the breaded coating is hard even after dipping it in the sauce. The tuna sashimi was oddly served in a cocktail glass with a cube that was glowing blue. The tuma was of a poor grade since it had white ligaments in the meat and the cut was on the small side. Will definitely not be back.

They are a new restaurant. So am tempering the new-ness with the review. So yes, while they are new, they need to project a calm atmosphere. Not a «I’m sorry» for every every third sentence. I get they are going to need to get their rhythm together. But folks, calm yourselves down. Don’t act so frantic. And as it goes, they screwed up the order. They did not provide me with what I ordered on a take out. An indication of the new-ness chaos that they projected when I was there to order. I did not learn of the mixed up order until I arrived home. Oh well. Am not losing sleep over it because they are after all, new. Next, we ordered Happy Family, a combination chicken and shrimp in garlic dish, and the Orange Chicken. The vegetables were cooked to excellence. This was largely because they were so slammed and trying to get orders out, it was very nice to get crunchy, fresh tasting veggies in each dish. A byproduct of being… rushed… with a great outcome. More often than not Asian dishes have mushy veggies, so this worked out well, but by accident I think. I say that because overall the dishes were not blended very well. The flavors need to be cooked slower, longer, so they mesh and blend. There was a lot of sauce added to the Happy Family and chicken/shrimp/garlic dish. But they tasted very bland. A result of not cooking the ingredients so that everything blended together. I found the food to be bland. Will say the portions tho were very good. So that is an upside. And will also say the venue will be very good. It is in what I remember as the old Marigold Bistro on 8th Street, which became something else, before this. If they can work out their business and cooking, it will be a very comfy atmosphere. This is a big plus. You can see where they are trying to go. I was less than impressed on the first visit, and I will give it another go, but they have a ways to go to work out especially the flavors. I really would give the food itself a mediocre rating if that, but if they can sort this out, and they need to, it has the potential to be good. They need to not present an amateur presence tho. Relax folks. They had a lot of people trying out the first experience and there is nothing more offputting than the constant«I’m sorry» responses. Calm down. All the customers were relaxed and easy with the new-ness. Hopefully if I give it a go in a bit they will not screw up my order again. And the flavors will be better cooked and presented. If they can raise their game to a B or B+ level, their location and atmosphere will make it a winner. We can hope.

This place is great! Generous sushi servings & very tasty. Some places are more rice than sushi, not here! Interesting that they have Japanese & Chinese food at the same place, but very good. They have an all you can eat sushi special, $ 14.99 at lunch & I think it was $ 19.99 for dinner. Very affordable. We had a seafood noodle bowl, a tuna cucumber roll, spring rolls & my favorite — the Colorado roll. I could have done without the spring rolls & I wouldn’t have the tuna cucumber roll again but the Colorado roll & noodle bowl were absolutely delicious. I will be having the Colorado roll again very soon & I would highly recommend that you do too! So good!
