We’ve been at this location a few times and each time there’s always been some issue. Place needs a really good cleaning. We sat in a booth. The seats, table and menus were sticky. Place has an overall musty smell. I come back because my daughter loves the salad bar which I must admit has always been full and clean. We arrived on a Friday at 4:45pm. Place was not full at all but service was lousy. Our waiter was crazed and overwhelmed which was strange because there was hardly anyone in there! We asked for refills on our drinks and those came after we finished eating. He overloaded us on lemons that we didn’t ask for. Food was ok, kids ordered mozzarella sticks and fries which they devoured! I ordered buffalo wings, they were tough and didn’t have much of a taste. Salad bar was the best thing going. We watched a table of 6 wait for a waiter but sadly no one came they got up and left! The waiters that noticed them leaving were perplexed pointing fingers at each other! Management needs to get their people together!

I just ate here on my way from Wilmington, NC to Richmond. I’m on tour with 20 teenagers and 10 adult staff members. We called ahead and the manager brought in two extra servers so we would receive quality service. Most restaurants don’t expect a party of 30 at 3pm on a Monday, so this was a smart move. We were seated immediately and greeted promptly. Our server, Devant, was awesome! His energy and enthusiasm were infectious! He took our drink order and returned with our drinks quickly. He continued to provide excellent service, and even anticipated that we would need our checks as soon as our food was delivered. We had an issue with one order(not the restaurant’s fault) and Devant and management did not hesitate to take the entrée off the bill. They made sure we had everything we needed and offered to-go water and soda for the road. I feel bad that this location has such bad reviews. The garden bar was fresh and stocked. Our entire party received prompt and friendly service. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Ruby Tuesday was a favorite of mine in Colorado. This one in Colonial Heights, VA… Well, plain old sux. The hostess is not professional and needs to find new employment. Maybe somewhere she doesn’t have to do anything with the public, or actually work because she doesn’t seem to want to be here. They do not communicate with each other as my entire family got up to be seated at one host’s direction only to be directed back to the waiting area as they were not paying attention as to where the empty tables were. Once we finally got a seat, we ordered an apatizer

We went there because every other place was packed. Should have been a clue not go there. We we got our table one of the benches was dirty with syrup or juice, one of the menus was the same way. We ordered just the salad bar and tea and water. That did not arrive until we had eaten half our food. Then I noticed a foul smell on the place will not be going back.

This place is the pits! Called in a to go order and still had to wait an additional 20 min after I called from home and waited 20 min to go pick it up. Then I discover 3 things missing. Another 10 min wait. Get home and food is cold. Yuck. Avoid this turd shack at all costs.

Now I don’t generally give bad reviews, but I got deathly ill after eating dinner. You might say it could have been something else I ate, but this happened to be the only thing I ate that evening. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean, which made it seem like everything was in order. I ordered the ribs & southern style chicken tenders with fries. Which were good going in, but not good coming out! I spent the entire night and the next day in the bed and the restroom with food poisoning. I don’t think I’ll be returning to a Ruby Tuesdays for a while.

To begin with, after waiting over 7 minutes for a waitress I asked the hostess to get our party one. Hostess shows up a minute later to the table asking«what’s up» I was in shock, am I at some high school atmosphere or what? One of the waiters is sagging his blue jeans, as if he is back on the block. Our waitress was ok, but not to the caliber of this type of restaurant. Clearly this place has no professional staff, never coming back.

Food was very salty and the tables were sticky. I had the shrimp and grits, which was almost inedible. My mother had the ribs & chicken which was equally as salty and dry. Will not be returning to this establishment.

I have always been a big Ruby Tuesday’s fan. I love the salad bar and the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. I have been to this particular RT twice and honestly a little disappointed. The first time was for a to go order. The food was so sloppy in the box. Plus, when I came in and spoke to the hostess, you would think I told her I was there for my lobotomy rather than to pick up a sandwich. She seemed totally thrown off that I was there for a to-go order. Who knows, maybe they don’t have many to-go orders even though there are designated parking spaces outside! Tonight was my second go round. My friend ordered a martini. At least 15 minutes after we ordered, the waitress came back and said their manager had to purchase something to make the drink and would be back right away. Okay, my friend decided to wait. About 30 minutes after ordering, the waitress asked if my friend wanted something these to drink. She ordered something else. When we got ready to leave(almost an hour later), the manger still had not returned. I thought they should have at least offered my friend that drink for free. Just odd that 1) the manager had to purchase ingredients 2) that it took 15 minutes to inform us 3) that after an hour later, they still didn’t have the items for the drink. It wasn’t like she ordered something so random either. The waitress was very polite and obviously not her issue on the drink, but just really subpar all the way around.

Subpar at best. Service was minimal and borderline rude at times. Sat at the bar and the bartender would rarely make an appearance. She seemed busy, but it was not busy being a bartender. We got burgers and they were ok. Very greasy, but its a burger at a franchise, so wasn’t expecting gourmet. We used a coupon which is why we went to begin with.

This was my first time at a Ruby Tuesday’s and my husband was very enthusiastic about the experience, as I love salad and he wanted me to try their salad bar. While the food was terrific, we received terrible service. We were promptly seated when we walked into the restaurant but it took almost fifteen minutes for our very pregnant waitress to come over and take our order. This would have been more understandable if the place was busy but we were one of two tables there. The poor waitress was extremely spaced out while we were there, probably related to the pregnancy. While I only ordered from the salad bar, my husband ordered an entrée which took quite a while to get to the table, as we were almost done with our meal(my husband forgot he had ordered something else!). While the waitress was by our table, she was actively watching the television on the wall, and my husband and I patiently waited to get her attention for the bill. After all of this, she disappointed us the most by neglecting to give us a discount, as my husband is in the military. He was wearing his uniform during our meal and when we left the restaurant, we noticed the sign on the door regarding the discount. Overall, it was a great, and greatly disappointing, meal.

Had a strange experience at this Ruby Tuesday. I love RT food and really enjoy eating at this franchise. This was our first time at this RT and we don’t think we’ll be back. My fiancé and I went in for lunch. We were seated promptly, but after requesting a booth, we had to stand and wait while the hostess cleaned a booth for us. The restaurant only had a few tables seated and there were about 7 booths in that part of the restaurant that were already clean. But for some reason, we had to sit in that exact booth. Neither of us were famished, so we decided to order appetizers. I ordered the shrimp fondue appetizer when I placed the drink order, my fiancé ordered the coconut shrimp after our drinks arrive. It took more than a half hour for the shrimp fondue to arrive. There were barely any other tables in the restaurant and it was after 1 when we came in, so between being in the middle of lunchtime and not having that many other people to cook for, I thought it was strange that the food was so slow. We started to eat the shrimp fondue and realized that no one had given us silverware. We saw the waitress so sparsely that we didn’t want to continue to wait, so we took the silverware off of another, empty table. The shrimp fondue was good and we were happily eating it when I noticed a soggy black chip in the middle of the dip. I brushed it off, figuring that Tim or I had lost a piece of chip in the dip. I pulled it out and set it aside and continued eating. Then I found another piece of soggy chip. I thought that was strange. I then stirred the dip a little and uncovered another, much larger chip in the middle of the dip. I pulled it out and suddenly went off the entire meal. I’m not sure how these chips ended up in the middle of the bowl. They were not on the top or on the bottom. They were in the middle. I wondered if they had used an already served dish and put more fondue on top of it. We told our server about the strange meal and ordered a spinach and artichoke dish instead. Tim’s coconut shrimp finally came out and he enjoyed that. A few minutes later a manager came over and asked us why we had sent the shrimp fondue back. He seemed annoyed and was a bit short with us. We told him that there were soggy chips in it and that didn’t seem off to him. He said that he talked to the cooks and what must have happened was that the cooks put the chips down and accidentally spilled some into the fondue bowl, then the heated fondue was poured into the bowl, covering the chips. This would make sense if the chips were at the bottom of the bowl, but they weren’t. Also, it sounds rather lazy to just dump the chips on a plate and not even bother to see where they landed. The spinach and artichoke dip arrived and we had been at the restaurant for almost and hour and a half. We were eating the dip when the waitress brought out another coconut shrimp order and explained that the manager had thought that the previous one we had had, which Tim had eaten completely, was burned so he got them to make us another one. But it wasn’t burned. The coconut shrimp had been fine. Did the manager think we were being difficult? By this time we both felt odd about the restaurant and the entire experience. We had originally been planning to stay for dessert but neither of us felt like it at this point. We asked for boxes and packed up the coconut shrimp and most of the spinach and artichoke dip. When we got the bill we found that we had been charged for the shrimp fondue, one portion of the coconut and Tim’s sweet tea. I think the shrimp fondue and the other dip were the same price, so we paid our bill and left. As we were leaving we passed three employees who were sitting in the lobby. They all said goodbye to us and I had to wonder why they were all sitting around when the food and service were both so slow. Overall, strange place. I don’t think we’ll be back.

This particular location seemed messy upon entering. The hostess seemed depressed and lethargic. No warm and friendly greeting… just said«how many» and trudged off. We figured we would follow her to the table. We were seated next to another table that had remnants of food and dirty dishes all over it from a previous party. No one had bothered to clean that table. In fact, no one bothered to clean it throughout our entire meal. It was a turn off as we were trying to have our lunch. We ordered sliders, fries. Soup and salad. The broccoli cheese soup was delicious and served at the proper temperature. Of course the salad bar was fresh. That’s one of the things that Ruby Tuesday is known for and was to be expected. My husband’s cheeseburger sliders came without any toppings on them. Just meat and bread. They had to be sent back to the kitchen for the cheese, pickles, ketchup etc. That was weird. I had the veggie sliders which were totally overwhelmed by a drenching of BBQ sauce. The black bean and rice patties were super thin. It may as well have been a BBQ sauce slider. Fries were a bit over fried and very dark and crispy.
