My Father lives in Colonial Beach. Charlie has been very good to both him and my brother, Raymond. Pop says his work is good, prices are wonderful and his sense of community is strong. I would recommend everyone see Charlie!

This business is a rare gem. They are honest, fair, and exceptionally competent. You just don’t find that very often in the auto repair business these days.

I was stranded in remote Colonial Beach in Virginia when my usually dependable car broke down. It was loaded down with all our clothes and goods that we were taking to Florida for the winter. On top of everything it was a Sunday afternoon and I couldn’t get anyone to help me. Charles Carter of Carter Automotive saved us by coming over early the next morning and towing my dead car to his shop. After over four hours of diagnostic tests and troubleshooting he discovered that the problem was in a sensor that was sending a false report to the computer making it impossible to start. He replaced the sensor and we were on our way to Florida by early afternoon. I can’t thank him enough for what he did and the entire service cost me less than $ 200! I can’t imagine how much that would have been if I had to have the Honda dealer perform the work!
