Made a time with paw paw lake sports to fix my bike, with an estimate, ordered the parts, left the bike with them for three weeks. They never called or anything. I finally went to pick my bike up figuring it was way over the time they said it was going to be done, and the service manager said(rudely) We are not going to work on your motorcycle.(750 Yamaha) Even though this is a Yamaha shop and that they made a commitment to do so. «Sorry about all the parts you ordered, but we are not working on it, we don’t know how to. Basically take your bike and leave. I was absolutely floored. I couldn’t believe it. So what if it took some extra time to fix an older bike like mine. They made a commitment, and a commitment should be honored. This was my first bike, where do you think I would have bought my second bike if they would have treated me right. As it was, yeah they might have save $ 100 bucks not fixing my bike at their original estimate, but they probably lost thousands on my repeat business and the purchase of my second bike, which I will be doing hopefully this summer. The owner is a real nice guy, but I can’t believe he didn’t see this decision was not good business. I will never go back there. P. S. A kid in his garage fixed all the things on the bike that paw paw lake sports wouldn’t or didn’t know how to fix. How good are their mechanics if a kid can figure it out and they couldn’t. Go figure. Just my opinion.
