Wines are pretty good. Their whites and sweeter wines are better than their reds. Watusi red is very good. They are very skimpy on the pours though.

So disappointed! We were actually greeted at the parking lot by a representative of the the site, telling us they don’t take buses after 2. What? Did she really run out of the building to stop us from coming in? What? A small bus of 10 of us stopped and they turned us away! Really? Tasting fees: $ 5 each, lost $ 50. 3 cases of Watusi red, $ 8.75 per bottle, total lost $ 315! Not mention what each of us would have bought on our own! Peace, love and bubbles sale, gone! So we could come in 3 cars and then we’d be able to come in!!! Don’t waste your time, there any plenty of other great places around that are much more hospitable. So disappointed, so disappointed. Just say no and move on.

Terrible service and attitude from woman when we walked in. They were packed, to their credit… So we offered to buy 2 bottles and drink them in the seated area to celebrate my sisters bachelorette weekend. Woman said they were too busy and told us they were even too busy to pop open a bottle and let us drink without service. she didn’t think we’d want to stay. Good job promoting Lame. Lame. Lame.

Hostess at the entrance was rude and told us we couldn’t taste because a bus was coming in which we understood but she was extremely unwelcoming. She pretty much suggested we leave.

It was our first visit to Karma Vista and our first winery of the day — and it was off to a great start! Though it was crowded, our wait wasn’t very long and we had a beautiful view of the vineyards and property surrounding the tasting room. The wines were all excellent and it was hard to choose which ones I wanted to take home with me. Can’t wait to visit again!

The wine was delicious! I can’t wait to go back! Very nice servers, owners and great little gifts. The servers were very nice!

Went up here on a day of wine tasting in June and just loved it! We liked all the wines — the Reisling, especially, was a great hit with us and the views are gorgeous! Planning on going back for more this weekend!

I’m mainly a sweet wine-o so most of my reviews will be about that. The winery itself is very cute and the staff is very friendly. Out of the sweet wine tastings I had, I really enjoyed the Watusi Red(sweet red wine with lots of concord grapes) and the Razz M’ Tazz(raspberry fruit wine). I also think the way that the menu showed how sweet a wine was based on a bar chart was very helpful. I also thought the tasting of $ 5 for 6 tastings was a great deal!

This place is very cute and easy to get to. The staff was super helpful and 6 tastings for $ 5 is a great deal. Made it just in time for«peach train» and took home a bottle. Overall highly recommend this as a stop on your Michigan wine tour.

Watusi Red. I buy this by the case! Wonderful staff, great wine, and wonderful times! I have been there about 5 times and every time it’s great! Go during the off season(when they are open) and you’ll definitely see the owners! Wonderful place! Definitely worth a stop by!

Love this place. Owners are welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Wine is varied both in price and taste but delicious! Beautiful location and landscape. Definitely a must visit.

This is a beautiful winery and they have a nice gift shop. We did the wine tasting and enjoyed the wines. The reds weren’t my favorite, but they have a nice, sweet white that is almost like a dessert wine, it’s called Starry, Starry Night, I think. I was torn between a 3 and a 4, it’s definitely worth a star. We need ½ stars, Unilocal

My group really enjoyed the variety of wines and beautiful outdoor views, however we felt very rushed and that they were just trying to move us through the tasting as quickly as possible. Would have been 5 stars if not for the poor customer service.

We were in the area as my husband had a 2 week consulting stint with a local company in Battle Creek. I decided to join him for the weekend in between the 2 weeks. We are from California and have made many vacations surrounding wine tasting regions including California. We have tasted in Paso Robles, Monterey, Santa Lucia Highlands, Napa, Sonoma, El Dorodo, Amador County, Santa Barbara, etc. We were looking for a winery with a knowledgeable staff that could answer our questions on the local wine making practices, given the weather in Michigan. Karma Vista answered our needs in spades and we were lucky enough to talk to the owners who were extremely gracious and informative. The family has been farming on this property for over 150 years and entered the wine business more than 20 years ago. Great conversation, wonderful wine and by far the best stop of the weekend!

This place looks great, the road, house and the view Very pleasant people, but strict. Small pours of wine with only 6 choices per person. You need to look very carefully at the small print — if you are buying 6 bottles of wine you will get ONE wine tasting free! We asked to have our picture taken, and they said no pictures allowed until the end(we never got our picture). Overall, much better wineries in the area.

My husband and I went here last weekend as our first stop of a winery tour. These were by far our favorite wines of the day. I am very disappointed that we did not buy any bottles.(We would have if we were not going out to dinner and wondering around St. Joseph afterwards; we didn’t want to have to carry bottles around with us.) However, we are planning to take a trip up to the area so we can buy some! One of the things that I really enjoyed was the fact that the owner of the vineyard was back behind the counter talking to our group and letting us know about each wine, the vineyard history, etc. The guy that was doing our pours was(I think) very new. He had to get a couple pointers/instructions from the other individuals pouring, but he was very friendly — hey, you have to start somewhere, right?! My husband’s favorite was the Starry Starry White My favorite: Devil’s Head Red

Love their wine labels — you can tell the owners have a lot of fun naming each bottle :) We bought several bottles of wine here and had a lovely chat with the bar tender. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

My friends and I did a small tour of the SW Michigan Wineries on Sunday. This was our first and by far our best winery of the tour. The view is awesome, I’d like to come back when the trees and vineyards are green, but also beautiful in the fall. The tasting was FREE unlike the others we hit up on Sunday. The woman we did our tasting with was extremely friendly and helpful. The store is very cute and full of neat wine accessories and glasses available to purchase. It was so hard to choose which bottle to buy, of course I wanted one of each but I knew we’d be visiting others so I had to limit myself to one bottle. It was very hard to choose between the Starry Starry White and the Watusi Red but Red won and I cannot wait to pop that sucker open! YES I will be back for more!!!

Nice tasting, they mostly all say six free but they don’t really count. I mean we didn’t taste like 10 or anything, but likely 7 and could have had another but they weren’t getting better. I guess if u are there alone they might count to six. The place is nice and whites are good, but reds… they I just don’t think they have it right. :(. The shop is very cute and the staff was relatively friendly. The pours are very slight, barely tasting… not like the other 3 wineries we visited this weekend. I’m not looking for a half glass, but I should be able to get 3 decent tastes from one taste of wine to decide. Read the reviews here. Go and decide for yourself. The other winery in Coloma we stopped at prior we bought ½ case, here we got 2 bottles. I was skeptical walking in. Looking at the large group of ladies leaving to get their Hummer Limo, seeing a max of two bottles in hand… but I was glad we stopped here last. I love giving everyone a try. We had already spent $ 200 at three other wineries this weekend and werent afraid to spend more. As others said Starry Starry is very good as was Watusi. We left with just two bottles.

This winery was fine, but I didn’t love it like some of the others on the wine trail. Tasting was free, which was always nice. I tasted Starry, Starry White, Watusi Red, Pink Side of the Moon(their first sparkling wine), and their Riesling. The only one I thought was good was the Starry, Starry White, which is a light, sweet wine wine that’s perfect for the table when having guests over for dinner. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t enjoy most of the wines I tasted. At the other vineyards, I had trouble picking my favorites, but here, there was only the one that was enjoyable. I know wine is personal preference, so just because I didn’t like most of the wines doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t. The grounds themselves are pretty, and the employees were friendly. There also was a nice outdoor area, but we couldn’t use it due to the rain.
