I’m a little picky when it comes to Filipino food. Don’t like much of it but the beef soup, chicken stir fry with chayote and lumpia are what I get here and its delicious. I haven’t tried anything else and probably will not. So I’m giving a 5 star to just these 3 dishes. I have no problem with the service, they are always nice and the place is clean enough.

I have been coming here for years! This is a true testament to filipino foods – flavorful and delicious! In recent years I have noticed more diverse peoples coming to dine here so you know I am not a biased pinay girl ;) Bottom line: tastes like granny made it. omnomnom

This is the worst Filipino restaurant ever! I don’t know why they are still in business. All the food I ordered today are all taste like recycled food from yesterday. I don’t think it will taste better if it was cooked the same day. Will not eat here again ever!

Place is convenient. Food taste ok but spices is obviously used more for a bland palate. Courteous staff. Paying for«to go box» for 25 cents a piece is a turn off.

I’ve come here to eat several times in the past years. But lately, I’ve come to eat here almost every other week. My mother past away several months ago and I’ve been craving her home cooked meals. The food at Manila Eatery is the closest I’ve found to my mom’s cooking. The hospitality is amazing. The wonderful woman that work there are kind and accommodating. I catch myself wanting to call them Auntie: o) I often order catering trays for parties and often just dine there.

When I was pregnant i had some food aversions but some filipino food was not one of them. I went to few filipino restaurants and this place was one of them. Not sure why this is rated low. They have a lot of portions and food looks fresh. They have lots of veggies and seafood which i really appreciate since other places mostly serve meat. Combo meal is reasonably priced since portion is pretty decent and service is always good.

Although the food can sometimes taste ok, there have been 2 – 3 times where i found flies in my food. I ended up not eating it. And it’s very pricey too :/

Food is ok, my kids love the chicken adobo and chicken lumpia. I have to be honest, it’s pricey :(.

Chicken Adobo = delicious. I rarely order this dish, so this was a pleasant surprise yesterday as it was also freshly made. Lots of savory flavor with hints of sweetness. Vegetable dish = good. Plenty of okra, green beans, eggplant and salty shrimp flavor! Shanghai lumpia = Crispy and full of flavor. 4/$ 1.00. I had to get a dozen! Pop it in like candy! Maja blanca = good. My first time having it. The pudding had a good for consistency with bits of corn and toasted coconut flakes on the side. Creamy coconut! Service = friendly. I never know(or don’t recognize) the names of dishes, and they’ve always been kind enough to tell me what’s inside the dishes, too. Over the years, the food quality has improved and I’m happy to support this small local business. Oh, and they have select Mitchell’s ice cream flavors. Try their halo halo! I’ve always done take out, BTW. They have plenty of seating. And they do offer large party sizes portions of their dishes.

The food is decent but the pricing is a total ripoff. I stopped by for some silog while waiting for nearby shops to open. I paid $ 16+ for garlic rice, tocino, one egg and bangus. Really!!!

I always come here for some really great chicken adobo. And they have the best pork tocino that goes so well with pancit. Plus the servers are always friendly.

I was so excited to find this manila place in Colma since I am not from here. Unfortunately the food was not that great. Fried banana’s were awesome but their pork sausage was aweful and was stale. My husband and I both felt uneasy after eating that the entire day.

Really thought I would like it. I came here hungry. I still feel hungry after spending $ 8 on their food. It’s definitely not a lunch special. Free parking yay. Food– not worth it.
