Like the other reviewers I have been to this place many times and I have experienced nothing but the cold shoulder, I love gardening and supporting local businesses but I won’t be supporting this one anymore, there are other garden centers in the area that have more friendly staff and I’ll be shopping with them instead.

Unfortunately, I cannot give Riverside any rating. I’ve been a faithful customer for the past 20 years. Everything from flowers, shrubs, accessories and artificial arrangements along with people have changed at Riverside. The staff changed a few times since then everything went down hill in my opinion. They no longer care about the customer and the quality of their product declined. They need better PR people working there. Your waiting and waiting where no one offers any help, if someone offers to help they have to find a different person who may or may not know the answer, this is complete waste of my time. This happened several times to me not just one time. There prices are high with poor quality workmanship lately, especially on their dry floral arrangements. I understand quality with pricing, if I’m paying for it, it better last. I’ve paid there prices over the years I knew what I was getting and from whom, not any more. I purchased(2) artificial arrangements in April 2015 both have product falling out. I will not be doing business with Riverside in the future which is a disappointment. There are other quality local garden centers around the area that do beautiful work with less cost, they will have my business. Linda D.

I continue to try to go to Riverside since I want to support small town local, but I have officially given up on this nursery. Aside from the expensive prices($ 2 – 3 more than the average local nurseries) I am always treated as though I’m a bother rather than receiving a hi or smile. Today was the 4th time I’ve gone and needed help(shopped there at least 10 times) and rather than saying I’ll be with you in a moment I got nothing except her back walking away from me and she was told I needed assistance. I wouldn’t mind paying a little more and supporting my local nursery if I felt appreciated, well I tried on many occasions and now they have officially lost my business and anyone who mentions they’re heading there will hear about my many negative experiences. Supporting local is a two way street between the business owners and the consumers, I held up my end and they have not. Too bad because I love spending money on our gardens.

Love this place. I call annually on Mother’s Day. Living out of state, Riverside is my go to. They aways do the most beautiful arrangements. The service is great and delivery is on time. I highly recommend it!

Riverside is a nice nursery with high quality plants. However, the prices are high, service is difficult to find and they carry very few native plants. I was also disappointed trying to order shrubs and trees — anything but the most generic was a challenge.
