I was told all my info would be saved and reinstalled. Nope! I have returned it twice and they will fix one thing and tear up 6. Run!

Terrible customer service. Period. I wanted to shop local and help a local business, but I would have been better going to Target or Walmart. I had to wait an hour and a half for the owner to show up because he was the only one who could sell me the item I wanted. If your open for business, your employees should be able to make a sell. On top of that, I spent $ 700 and when I needed to return an item($ 110 ipad case) because it was the wrong fit, I was told that it had a torn box(tiny tear) and considered defective and would not return it. A solid, reputable place with good customer service would have returned it and then they could easily put it on clearance ‘as is’(they wouldnt lose any money bc they were gonna deduct a 15% restocking fee) in an effort to please customers and get repeat business. GREEDY! The only good thing about this business is the post office. RUN!

I love that this is a super-convenient postal annex! For anything else… it’s probably kind of lackluster, and I’m not techy enough to speak to its virtues or failings.

If only it were possible to rate a business with a 0 star rating! Even that would be generous for this business. Took my laptop for repair. Was told it would take three days later. When I called three days later they had not even looked at my computer. They said they would that day. The following day they informed me I needed a new hard drive to correct the problems. I agreed to pay the $ 79; this on top of the $ 99 initial fee to fix the computer. Three days later they called to tell me I could pick my computer up tomorrow, after 7 days but they could not fix the problem! This after being told the hard drive replacement would do it. I am somewhat culpable in that I used Patton before and received similar bad service so I really should have known to go elsewhere. Save yourself the agony of dealing with incompetence and take your computer elsewhere.

I bought a new computer less than 6m ago. It suddenly without explanation broke totally no longer registering the hard drive! I called and they said that if it were manu problem it would be covered by the warranty and they would help walk me through getting it sent for repair. When i took the computer i had to pay the fee just to have them look at it and say they could do nothing to help me. Then had to pry the number out of them for the manufacturer and ask them to write it down, then ask again for them to write down what the problem was. My husband then called and complained and was told the fee was for the technician to call($ 97 for a phone call) Not what I expected when they previously said they would help walk me through the warranty process. I am astounded that a new product would just completely die! I asked what they were going to do to compensate since it was through no fault of my own and was told«we are just a retail outlet and cant do anything for you». Awesome so you sell crap, charge to tell me you sold me crap? then do nothing and accept no responsibility. I will never ever ever go back to this store ever!!! The saying is true if you have a good experience you might tell someone– have a bad one and you will be sure to tell 10! I will be telling more than 10!!! They are a terrible store! Do not buy from them or have them do any repair work!!! I actually heard a tech say i took it apart but don’t know if I know how to put it, back together, hope I can!

Run from this place. They do not tell you that in the event they are unable to fix your computer you are out of almost a $ 100 for nothing. Only thing they will do is backup your files. However, you must bring in another device for them to transfer it on to.

I dropped my IPhone and needed to have the screen replaced. I chose to go to Patton Computers because I live near them, and heard great things about the company. The screen was replaced with no problem, but a few days later the screen would shake and I was unable to place calls, see text messages, etc. I called the store and was told they had received an order of defective screens, and I one was placed on my phone. I went back to the store, and had a new screen replaced with no charge. A few weeks later I am having the same problem again. My screen and camera shakes so i am unable to take pictures or look at anything that pertains to graphics without the screen shaking. If I turn off my phone, the screen is black and will not light up, but I cane hear the phone ring and text message notification, but unable to see anything. I called the store, and was told to take it to Apple because they test the screen by turning the phone off/on, etc. Keep in mind this is not the first time that this has happened. The first time BJ was helpful, and said the cord was not placed tightly and ensured me that he placed the cord/wire in securely. I am upset that I paid to have a screen replaced that is faulty and does not work, and told to call Apple. My phone worked fine before this screen was placed. I should kept a cracked screen. Also I was not warned that the screen would be problematic after getting it replaced.

I come here to drop off mail packages via USPS, which is MUCHQUICKER and EASIER to do than going to the post office itself, where many times you have to deal with people behind the counter who have an attitude. Everyone is usually friendly and helpful.

This is a terrible place. They can’t fix anything. When I walked in the store there was a customer complaining that when he received his«fixed phone» something was broken that wasn’t before. Then when I left the store there was a couple complaining about how this had been their third time being there for their computer. I was told to pay 50 dollars just so they could do the labor. I was also told that they would be able to fix it and that it would only take an hour. I gave my money to the guy and then proceeded to occupy myself by playing this Xbox that they had in the store. I played that damn Xbox for 45 minutes. I went to check on my phone and they hasn’t even started on it. It was just sitting there. Then when they worked on it for 30 mins, the guy tells me it can’t be fixed and that basically I would need a new phone. Wtf. I wasted time, money, and gas and the manager didn’t even seem like he cared. I hate this place. Don’t go. It’s terrible. Go Somewhere else because patton computers couldn’t fix a computer or phone if their life depended on it. I Hate that place with a passion

Best Buy didn’t have the parts to fix my computer, so they recommended Patton. Patton didn’t have the part, either, but they ordered it, so they went the extra mile over what Best Buy would do. I do agree somewhat with the sentiment the other reviewer expressed; paying in advance is a bit aggressive for this sort of business; when they called me about ordering the part, they wanted that money in advance, too. Very few other business operate this way. All things being equal, I’d probably take my business to a store that was more… amiable. But things are never equal… From the business perspective, if you can get paid in advance, you eliminate collection problems and don’t have to float your customers any money, so while I find this pay-in-advance practice annoying, I also find it admirable. They’ve clearly built a successful business on it, so more power to ‘em. Anyway, Patton Computers performed competently for me and I don’t have a problem recommending them.

Run, don’t walk away from this store. Even the manager(who claimed he was the owner) stated he was interested only in profit.(always nice to know when a business doesn’t care about customers) To have a computer repaired it is $ 90 just to drop it off. $ 140 if you want the work done in 2 days instead of 2 weeks. The tech was dazed and confused and seemed to think my vagina made me unable to understand computers(I used to be a repair tech, but having a toddler makes it hard to do repairs at home). He refused to answer any of my questions. Either because he was unable or because he didn’t understand what I was asking. He seemed generally annoyed at my questions. When I spoke to the manager/owner he told me paying the upfront fee was«procedure». Plus he made it clear to me he was also going to charge me $ 160 for a $ 110 part because he wanted to profit(in addition to the check in fee and any additional labor). I understand some places need to do a check in fee, but they almost refused to give me the part price. I knew what had to be fixed and asked them for a «ball park» figure of what the repair would run me based on what I needed and they didn’t want to even talk to me about it until it was checked in. Not only is that markup insane, but both of these men were so belittling. Even Best Buy has better techs than this place. I wouldn’t have trusted them to properly fix my laptop. They certainly have no customer service skills nor any regard for the customer other than to separate them from their money. I should also note that even my husband has noticed the different treatment I received. He could not understand why all the employees spoke down to me as if I were a child.
