OK selection of beer and wine, if you’re looking for basic stuff you’re good to go. if you’re looking for anything special/hard to find, not your best bet. but just need whiskey/vodka/generic beer? go here.

Convenient liqueur store where prices are ridiculously high. Good for a quick trip when you don’t mind spending 50−100% higher for products that could be bought from Goody Goody liquor store just 3 miles from this stores location. Only use them in a pinch and never when I need to stock up for the holidays or parties.

Definitely the closest liquor store to the house now. It’s smallish, but it gets the job done. Not as many items on sale as I would have liked, but I figure the gas savings is worth it. Staff is friendly and helpful. On my most recent visit they were having tastings of some flavored vodka. I forget the brand, but I was surprised that the root beer flavored vodka was actually OK.

Finally, a liquor store within an easy drive of the house. Before Fossil Creek, we had to pack provisions for a long drive into Fort Worth or Dallas to stock the bar. Now we head here, and enjoy a bright, clean store offering great selection at very reasonable prices. And they have Buffalo Trace!

Up until fairly recently, I had to made an eleven mile trek from my house to Ft Worth to buy liquor. FINALLY, I can shop near my home with the addition of liquor to Colleyville. Two liquor stores opened within the past 6 months or so on Colleyville Blvd(Hwy 26) that were about 5 miles away, and now there is Fossil Creek which is barely 2 miles. How civilized are we now out here in the sticks?! After moving here from a state where you could buy liquor in the grocery stores, the special booze runs were always annoying and time-consuming. They still are, but at least it doesn’t take as long AND I don’t have to get on the freeway. Fossil Creek is an OK place. The store is brand new and clean. The employees were very nice. The store is much smaller than a competitor’s store over on 26 but they carry the basics. If you’re looking for specialty or higher end items you might need to go elsewhere, though. They had what I was looking for and, in fact, it was $ 2 less a bottle than the big store on 26(although some other things I looked at were a bit higher). As close as they are, I’ll be stopping in again soon. Very glad they’ve moved into the area.
