This is a wonderful park for all ages! Newly updated play structures make this park fun and safe. There is something for everyone. The sign of «Park Rules» states that the playground was designed for ages 2 and up, but I have seen smaller kids playing with the help of their parent. As you can see in the pictures, this park is huge! It has several swings, slides, climbing things, monkey bars, etc. There is a sand area with two little digger toys which are always fun! There is an area that is geared for small we children, all with the«baby/toddler» swings, two ride on toys, and a see-saw. In this area there is this really cool«double swing.» It allows the parent or older sibling to swing with their child/younger sibling. It is such a cool thing, and my daughter loves it!!! The play structure has coverings all around, so it provides shade. Benches and seating are available all in the play area so tired parents can take a break. There is a large pavilion along with a restroom facility and a couple drink vending machines. I do believe you can rent the Pavillion for birthdays and such. Imagination Station also has walking trails that go into the Veterans Park. It’s a nice easy walk, and perfect for kids to ride their bikes. The trail runs right next to a creek, so you do see ducks, fish and such. It’s peaceful and beautiful. This park has it all! It’s in Collegedale so it is centrally located to resturaunts, gas stations, and stores. I encourage you to pack up your kids, a lunch, and some jackets/sun screen and go PLAY! My daughter LOVES when we go and play with her and climb around and go down slides with her. It’s sad because at the park I see very little parents engaged with their children and stuck to their phones. Make this place your«cell phone free zone.» You won’t regret it. Your kids will love you and notice no cell phone. And you will make memories. GOOUTANDPLAY!

We spend a good bit of time shopping and eating in Collegedale and are always very careful to obey the speed limit. It’s rare to be in town and not see someone pulled over by the Collegedale police. Every time I enjoy one of the great amenities of town, I realize that the town gets to have so many neat things because of the revenue generated from these traffic citations(I’m guessing). Imagination station has been a favorite of my two girls in the 18 months we’ve lived here. They just recently rebuilt the playground and we checked it out yesterday and were very impressed. My kids said it was awesome! This is a great playground next to the library and tied in with Wolftever Creek Greenway, another top notch attraction of Collegedale.
