I am always in the library(well, it maybe takes up around 50% of the time when I’m in College Station). The library provides great services to the students including individual study rooms, group study rooms, notebook/laptop(all for 4 hours), and I often use the interlibrary loan to borrow books that Evans library doesn’t have, but can get it from other schools/libraries. Last time when I used the service, it took them less than a week to get the book from an out-of-state university, quite cool! It is amazing and I can always find the right spot to study. I love this library!

The Sterling C. Evans Library is the cultural center of a student’s academic life. The librarians are always sophisticated and professional and have been a great help in locating from the common to obscure. The staff has specialists in certain areas. The GIS and map room is extremely vast and while I never expected to be able to locate Geological and contour maps of College Station showing the elevations to perfect detail, the Map Room librarian was able to point me to the correct drawer in less than one minute. If you get hungry while here there’s a café called Poor Yoricks which we have frequented many, many times. Two years ago both the entire first floor of the library and Poor Yorick’s were remodeled and now sport very comfortable couches and seating areas. Library is open until midnight.
