It mind boggles me how this place is so crowded at lunch when all the options(usually $ 6.50 + tax) are more expensive than a burrito bowl at Chipotle. They have milk, greek yogurt, fruit, and various snacks, so they have variety. Unfortunately, all the«dining» options suck. The quesadillas/tacos suck. The sandwiches are mediocre. The pizza is mediocre. The«Chinese» food only has two choices of sweet and sour chicken or this gross mock-seafood medley that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. I don’t have a dog, but if I did, I wouldn’t feed him that.

I would have given this place three stars just a year ago. The quality of food has significantly dropped and the price has gone up. The pizzas are always burnt, the quesadillas are not even close to their former glory and the staff that have been hired recently are rude. You’re better off getting lunch on northgate

For a university food court, Pi R Square is actually pretty good. It has a fair variety of food — from snacks, pizza, sandwiches, etc… And the food quality is also good(not great — but consistently good). I do find prices a bit high for the quality of the food, but you are also paying for location… The location makes it a very attractive place to eat on campus when you don’t have a lot of time. However, it does get *very* busy between noon-1pm… sometimes a bit earlier to later, but the noon-1 is always crazy. So if you are stoping by during that time, then it may take you a while to get to actually eat your food. The staff is always very nice and friendly, though sometimes a bit slow. All in all a good place to grab some food while on campus.

The Pi R Square is one of the food courts on Texas A&M University campus at the CE /TTI Office Tower. It has a variety of places to select food from, which we will get to reviewing individually but for now just a few comments. Over time they have one food booth that we called«experimental» where recently they had baked and stuffed potatoes like Potato Shack. Their most recent offering is SUSHI! Now what’s a little strange is that the guy making the sushi is what my Asian wife and friends call an «American White Guy». Blond hair and all. No one was in line and I think it’s a little too expensive and they don’t have clear instructions as to what the new«experimental» food is. But it was darn good as most of what you will find here. As normal, totally great service.
