Well, I rarely eat pizza anymore. At 5’11″ and 155 lbs and heavily into the Cult of Crossfit, it just doesn’t work. 43 lbs ago though, I ate here a lot! And this was, without question, the best pizza in Aggieland, period. It wasn’t the variety… that can be a bad thing with pizza. It was the simple fact that Antonio’s was the first pizza in these parts that got thin crust right. No soggy bready grossness, but real legit thin crust. And yes the toppings were great. Slices are massive, and I would get two before I learned to get just one and a salad as lunch. There are some hideous combinations like chicken and ranch(if you like ranch, I probably don’t like you. Thank you California for foisting this abomination on the rest of us). Stick with the classics and you will do fine.

Some of my best memories(or lack thereof) were made here at 2am. The pizza tastes remarkably amazing after a few drinks… Nothing like ending the night with Antonio’s!!!

I’ve worked in NY pizzerias for years, and I have a love for pizza that borders on the obsessive. With that said, I need to say Antonio’s has to be some of the worst pizza I’ve had. Now, that doesn’t mean Domino’s, Hungry Howie’s, or Papa John’s is better. Those belong in a different category, and a place like Antonio’s must be held to a higher standard.(TL;DR at bottom) I tried to like Antonio’s, honestly. I went maybe once every two weeks for a little while. How they do toppings reminds me of the style of my native Long Island — where we take a meal(Caesar salad, penne ala vodka, ziti bolognese, etc) and dump it on a white pizza. But every time I went to Antonio’s, it just seemed to get worse. The pizzas are a day old. Every pizzeria I’ve ever been to that’s worth it’s salt sells it’s old product for half price at the end of the day, or gives it away for free. That’s because they throw it out when they close, and they do that because they want their customers to have fresh product. Sure, maybe that’s hard at Antonio’s because they have so many different topping combinations. Well, you fix that by getting rid of the topping combos that don’t sell as well, and make about 10 – 15 that you can make fresh twice a day. I’d much rather have a small selection of fresh product than a massive selection of old product. The moment I bite into a tortellini slice that has hard pasta, I’m walking out the door and not coming back. Maybe you like that, that’s fine… but that doesn’t excuse the outrageous cost you’re shelling out for that old crap. A day old slice of anything doesn’t cost $ 3.50, I don’t care how much chicken you put on it. Also, for delivery, I’m forced to pay nearly $ 30 for a pie? Absurd! I lived in an area which had a much higher average income level in their customer base than College Station, and a specialty pie delivered never cost more than $ 27 a plain 18″ costing $ 17.11 to deliver. And, beyond that, I’ve never had a margarita slice that tasted so awful — mozzarella tasted and had consistency of rubber, the whole damned thing was overpowered by the tomato purée base… no. And don’t get me started on that flatbread of a crust. Can’t even fold that garbage. I’m done, I won’t be eating at Antonio’s any longer. In fact, should my job not pan out, I’ll open my own pizzeria in College Station, do pizza right, and force Antonio’s to either shape up or board up it’s windows. It wouldn’t be hard. The people in this town deserve to have good food at a decent price, and I’d make damn sure it fit the bill and stayed that way. $ 1 slices after 10pm. Individual slices sized 1⁄6 of the pie. A crust that holds and folds, but still has bite and a nice flavor. Authentic topping combinations that you’ll find in the NY metro area, plus a few others for the local crowd. I’m sorry that we won’t have as huge a selection as youse though. I’ll call the place«New York Nick’s». Keep an eye out. TL;DR — New Yorker says it sucks. Old food, on a shitty crust, for way too much than anyone should be willing to pay. This town deserves better. I’m considering giving it to them.

I’m sorry to say this was the worst pizza I have ever had. I was excited since Antonio’s has great reviews saying it was the best pizza you can find in College Station, I couldn’t disagree more. I guess when we went it was during their slow hours but I don’t think that’s an excuse for the quality of pizza that was served. The entire restaurant was dirty, not one table was clean yet the employees were too busy on their cellphones. The only choices we were given for pizza was what had been left sitting out all day. A customer in front of us tried to order something else and the employee barked at him that he could only get what was sitting out. I don’t know why I didn’t just give up there but we made our selections from what was in front of us. Then on top of this they have to reheat the pizza before they even give it to you. It makes me wonder if the pizza, especially the ones with meat on them, truly stay at a safe temperature while they are sitting out. After they reheated it the pizza was barely even warm still. It was just luke warm. Against better judgement we still gave the pizza a try. The pizza was extremely dried out, and you could tell it had been sitting out for a very long time. I was extremely disappointed in both the food and the service. The employees were short with us and not friendly. I truly don’t understand how this place has such great reviews. I definitely will never go back, I’d rather get a frozen pizza from the grocery store over Antonio’s any day.

I don’t know what’s worse, cafeteria food pizza or the pizza I had at Antonio’s. The pizza looked old/crappy and they had a small selection. When I went there I thought that the pizza was going to be freshly made, but boy was I wrong. I’ve been reading the other comments about this place being«the best pizza» and I have no idea what they are comparing it to. Even after they reheat the pizza to serve it to you it doesn’t even taste hot. Just lukewarm dry old pizza. Nasty. Also all of the tables were noticeably dirty, they weren’t busy and employees were on their phones so there’s no excuse for how dirty the place was. We will not be returning.

Terrible service. The guy behind the counter was just plain rude. There was one person behind me and he was acting as if I was holding up a crowd. They just assume you’ve been there before and know what you want. Three stars just for the pizza which is decent and minus one for service. You don’t have to smile at every customer but a pleasant attitude would be nice, not everyone who walks in is a college student. I will not be going here again.

Yummy, great variety! Vegetarian friendly! I love the fact that I can get 2 slices of totally different pizza and don’t have to order a whole pizza.

Great pizza by the slice here. When I walked in I was really not expecting much the usual pizza stuff cheese pepperoni etc wow I was wrong. Hey have probably 50 different pizzas all by the slice and they all sounded really great I had the mozzarella tomato basil with the marinara sauce(they also do it with a pesto sauce) and it was fantastic very fresh tasting. The other slice was chicken parmigiana which wasn’t as good but it was alright probably wouldn’t order it again. The staff was friendly enough even during the massive lunch rush and a free drink when you buy two slices is great. I will come back.

Best pizza in town! Wish the location was easier to get to, then just on Northgate! But the different pizza types are crazy! So many awesome choices, and they are all amazing!

Don’t really know why this place has 4 stars. They have a lot of creative options but the pizza taste like cardboard. I got the buy 2 get 3 special. I let the 3rd slice waste away in my fridge. The best pizza I’ve ever had was from a place in Denver. I feel like they are trying to be good but don’t quite make it. Don’t be fooled by the hype and presentation of the pizza. I would order dominos before coming here again.

This place has the best selection of delicious pizza combinations ever! And you pay by the slice so you can try a few different slices each visit. It also makes gray left overs, so buy a few to take home.

Antonio’s pizza actually offers more than just pizza. My favorite item on the menu is their barbeque chicken calzone and I have heard their wings are good as well. Have been coming here since I have started going to northgate. The pizza tastes plainish sober, but like heaven after a night on northgate. The people that work here have always been extremely nice to me. I think that they recognize me as the only person who comes in on weeknights to pick up my calzone near closing time and I always appreciate being recognized for my loyalty. Will continue coming here for their calzone and 2am pizza.

The pizza here is mediocre at best. No telling how long it’s cooked for. They simply reheat it for you. Dining area is small and parking is very limited. It’s a location you eat at but feel like you should go eat something better somewhere else. The pizza comes out on small paper plates which are way to small for the slice of pizza. The three of us decided to go eat somewhere else later. Parking is very limited and the chefs are really not very friendly. No one asked how your food was and its sad to see many of the other reviews are«Not Recommended» and in a shaded out file.

NOTORIETY: Pizza by the slice FOOD: Pepperoni pizza: Classic type of pizza but it was crispy after they ran it through their revolving belt oven. Good size and flavor overall. It was about $ 2.50 a slice though. OVERALL: Def. worth coming back, esp since they have many varieties, including unique flavors. NOTES: 1. Lunch special(Monday Through Friday only): Buy 2 slices of pizza & get a free drink. 2. Afternoon special(Monday Through Friday only): I believe buy 2 slices & get the 3rd free.

Best affordable pizza in town! By far the best tasting pizza in town. If you come on weekend nights, expect them to be full of drunk students trying to sober up. The variety of pizza is good, and the staff is pretty quick to serve it!

I gave it four stars only because if you go when it’s not busy, the toppings on the pizza would be dry, which doesn’t get better when the pizza’s warmed up in the oven. Other than that this is a great place for a cheap and quick meal. They always have specials and the pizza slices are as big as your face. The toppings are unique compared to standard pizza places like dominos or papa johns. There’s tortellini, fajita pizza, deep dish with pepperoni(yum), garden pizza(tomatoes, spinach and mozzarella cheese, yum) and many more. This place gets very busy around 2am or later from Thursdays to Saturday, since that’s when the club goers are out seeking food.

You people are clearly drunk. This pizza is mediocre at best. I guess it’s all about location, location, location. If you put a below average pizza place amongst a bunch of college bars of course students will love it. Don’t go here in less you’re feeling nostalgic.

Definitely a great alternative to dominos! I highly recommend this place if you’re in Northgate and want a quick bite to eat. Pros: + Pizza by the slice — don’t have to get more than you can eat + excellent variety + great vegetarian options + awesome exotic options + frequent flyer coupons(buy X slices, next one is free) Cons: — crowded — a little expensive: a couple of slices are almost the cost of a pizza somewhere else.

Plus a half a star. First off let’s start with the specials they offer from 11 – 5 and then 7 – 11. I sadly went at 6 and wasn’t able to partake in the specials. Nevertheless plenty of good deals to try different types of pizza. As per pizza: They have a bunch of different options which is good and bad because you can have a lot of trouble deciding what to get. Or you can get too gutsy and get something that wasn’t your cup of tea. The prices are okay. Majority of the slices are at the $ 3.25 mark. Not bad pricing for specialty pizza. Although &2.20 for a cheese slice is a little over the top. Personally I think $ 1.75 is about as high as I go for a plain cheese slice Anyways. Pretty good place if you get the specials. One day I’ll order a pie to see what a fresh pizza from this place is like. Happy fooding.
