Famous Gold Tim’s Deli & Grill

Well the time has come where they are trying to take advantage of people at night, it was already bad that they have a $ 10 min for cards, but now they are charging $ 20 min on cards. Really? The food really isn’t that great for a $ 20 min. Sorry it was a good Business.

I love this place and u definitely get the most bang for your buck. The sandwiches are delicious and for the people that complain about the food then spend some more money and go to a restaurant because this my friends is a nyc deli at its finest

The worst food I ever had, I don’t usually give reviews this one I had to. I am just hoping I don’t get food poisoning from his crap.

Used to love this place… What happened? Hot food buffet is usually good but the prices have gone up quite a bit. Deli sandwiches are hit or miss as is the turkey burger. One time I got all white meat and another time the burger was chewy and grey with a lot a cartilage pieces. Eew!

This place is the WORST. They are extremely dirty and the Asian owners are NASTY!!! They have no respect for their customers and they take advantage that they are the only place open late in the area but I will NEVER order from there again. Btw they ruined my order and would not bring me my order back. They pretty much stole my money

Nothing particularly good or bad about it. Not impressed with the food, but it’s edible, and not too expensive.

I’ve been going to this deli for years because it’s the best one around me by far. Bacon egg and cheese, or really any breakfast sandwich for that matter is always great. I’ve had a lot of their other sandwiches like the jersey shore, Yankee, and top chef and they are always very good. The food quality is great, but it gets three stars for me because of the service. The staff in there is a hit or miss. Sometimes they’re very friendly but other times a little rude. The food takes a while to come out so I recommend calling in advance. And for delivery. well just don’t get it delivered unless you like waiting an hour. So to sum it up, call in advance, pick up your food, and enjoy a great sandwich.

What’s up with all the slamming?
Gold Tim’s is an incredible deli that’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in College Point. The workers aren’t necessarily the kindest or most soft spoken, but they have never been outwardly rude to me.
The sandwiches are still giant and amazing and do not disappoint. I still stand by my statement that you should get anything with gravy on it, but I want to addend that statement with «get an extra side of gravy» because it’s really incredible to dip the sandwich into more gravy. The cheese fries are heavily layered in the deli cheese and you should get a side of gravy for that as well.
My favorite are the breakfast sandwiches. They’ll add a hashbrown or home fries (sometimes with onions and peppers, sometimes without) onto the sandwich for you if you ask.

The people taking orders don’t get your orders right. They all sound friendly and welcoming but that’s a front for the their bad service and food. Change the oil on your fryers so your fries come out fresh!

Rude service and over priced sandwich’s… If I order a club roll with two meats and you give me one slice of each and charge me almost $ 8.00 for a club roll, your not giving me «extra meat»!!!

Prices are reasonable, the employees are very friendly, delivery times are often very fast, though weekends and 5 – 8 PM can be slower for obvious reasons. The food is above average, it’s deli food, it’s good for what it is. One of the things I appreciate from a food place/​restaurant is consistency. I’d rather eat from a place that is consistently ⁴⁄₅ than another place that is sometimes ⁵⁄₅ and sometimes ³⁄₅. Gold Tim’s is consistent, if you enjoyed eating there once, you’ll enjoy it again the next time you order.

Get the Jersey Shore with chipotle and ranch sauce (free) and i bet youll never order a different sandwich again. All the people that complain about the customer service are the same people that i’ve seen in the store just looking to start fights and were probably having a bad day. Follow their policies, and enjoy a cheap, fast, and delicious meal!

I had the black dog sandwich here and it was just average. It wasn’t flavorful at all. Nothing special, but it wasn’t bad either. There are definitely better delis that make fat sandwiches in queens.

My go to spot when in need for quick buffet by the pound lunch.
Def would recommend if in the area looking for fast bite.

They are pretty good. I like their sandwiches and their curly fries. In addition, they are open ²⁴⁄₇. A late night snack can be so refreshing.

I honestly don’t know why people are giving such low ratings for this place. I give them the credit for the creativity, the large and endless names of sandwiches. Especially if you work late nights and you just don’t know what to get?! They have practically everything you can crave. Hats off to the builders of awesomness. AND I was shocked to find that my fries were actually still crispy when I got home. That’s a rarity!

I have ordered from this deli a couple of times.
I have had from breakfast platters to deli sandwiches their food is fresh and always cooked proper.
When they deliver they are good on time and always courteous.
When we go In to the store to order they are always nice and helpful

Like other reviews: Yes the deli does over charge on things. Yes the cashiers are rude ladies. Yes you do have to tell them to repeat your order for them not to mess it up. HOWEVER, their sandwiches are pretty good. Not my favorite but still pretty good.

One of the best places in the area to stop in or order delivery from for food, snacks, cigarettes etc.(Deli + small market) They are open 24 hours which is a plus being how college point has nothing but 7 – 11 to offer in the ghost town evenings. Great sandwiches and good breakfast.
Fast delivery compared to others. (For the sad area average delivery times of 45 mins + ugh!)
The delivery minimum sucks so they lose a star.
