So this is my opinion solely on what my experience was upon entering this establishment. I had past by several times never entering. In this day I was looking for a butcher to get a change from my usual supermarket purchased meats. So from the outside this place looks like a real deal butcher. However, when I go in the place had a sort of smell that didn’t seem like a typical butcher shop. The selection didn’t seem that high quality either. I have to say that my expectations may have set my standards too high. I ended up walking right out and didn’t buy anything. I say if your in the neighborhood give them a shot and maybe your experience will be a bit better.

I stopped in the other day to check on their prices, since I was in the neighborhood and was walking around, trying to kill time before an appointment. They have whole Bell & Evans(organic, free-range, no antibiotics or hormones) chickens for only $ 2.49/lb. When I was at Whole Foods recently, the same chickens were on «sale» for $ 2.79/lb. So today, I was in the neighborhood again, and just had to get a chicken, so now I just have to figure out what to do with it. Maybe Mexican chicken tortilla soup? Meter parking situation was ok when I went today around 5PM. The only thing about this place is, the market seems to close rather early(6:30 pm on a Friday, 4:30 pm on a Saturday).
