I am giving it two stars because we had an awesome waiter of all things we were celebrating my son’s birthday and he wanted barbecue, my son said his brisket was dry, and so was his girlfriends it wasn’t a place I would revisit. .

I was looking for a place to eat while on business and came across this place. It happened to be relatively close to the hotels near the airport. Usually anything restaurant that has the name Pig, swine, or pork tend to be worth a visit. Unfortunately, this one didn’t meet the standards of other piglets eateries. The service was horrible. Our waitress, who’s name starts with a «C» sucks. We sat for about 10 minutes before she even took our drink order. She never checked us. After we ordered our drinks and she dropped them off, she didn’t come back to take our order for about 10 minutes. The food was average but the price steep. The ambiance was OK. I teetered on the edge of giving this two stars but opted to giving it three stars because the food was good. I don’t recommend and will not go back.

Delicate upscale BBQ in a very nicely decorated local. Very cute fireplace with roaring fire. Food is a bit pricey but very good. Service is very attentive. Beers are local brews with no national brands but wines are excellent and well priced.

Well we found it by accident great food, and great friendly people. Winter storm night we sat next to the fireplace. It’s a gem.

This place is ok, not sure why it has such great reviews. The spinach dip is more of a spread, not creamy. The cornbread was dry and not warm. Our sandwich didn’t have much meat on it. The side of mushrooms were good, as well as the atmosphere.

It wasn’t great, but not terrible. Ribs were top notch and brisket was just right. The men’s room smelled AWEFUL!(just sayin’). I know it’s a toilet but WOW! Worth a try.

A couple of us from work decided to try somewhere new today and drove a little bit further than usual. Pig and the Pint is located just outside the airport on Virginia Ave(The college park side) There is plenty of parking and it looks updated from the outside. When you enter it is a nice atmosphere and smells of food that has been on a smoker for a long time.(A GOODSMELL) I was greeted and seated right away. Tima(hopefully I spelled that right) was my waitress and she was great. She had a great personality and interacted with us about our menu choices. She let us sample a few things, etc. She really made the experience jump from a 4 star to a 5 star. I ordered the beer braised brisket with Parmesan creamed corn, French fries and yeast roll. The brisket was moist and had a nice light gravy on top. The cream corn has a nice kick to it and the French fries were cooked fresh and crispy. I did ask for some BBQ sauce on the side which I think was made in-house and was delicious. My friends had the barnyard pimp sandwich and the 50⁄50 burger. They both loved theirs as well and both agreed how great the service was. We will definitely add this place to our«regular visits» list. Please keep in mind that the price is a little high for lunch but the food and service were worth it.

I am almost shocked at myself that I haven’t written a review from this location before. I have been here several times, and every single time I am delighted with what I get. Today I tried the yellow beat salad and I added chicken atop. It was delectable. Because it was cold out I felt like having coffee with my lunch. I’m an avid Starbucks fan so the idea of having coffee at a restaurant is often disappointing. That was not the case at all for this particular luncheon. If you are real person, I would definitely recommend that you try the ribs here as well.

Came in after main dinner hours on a Sunday evening. No hostess was at the wait station and a few wait staff passed us by before finally acknowledging our existence. Had a burger. It was tasty but kind of smallish for the money. The wait staff was efficient but not super friendly overall. The place is cool but the food was not anything stellar; and it did not seem like the wait staff wanted us in there. I’m not sure what that was all about. Anyway, not a great experience overall.

It would have been higher but the food was not even was 3pm when I was dining. Since I was having Mac & cheese as one entrée on a veggie platter I was afraid warming it would ruin the taste. And is is tasty Mac & Cheese!

15 of us were staying nearby while attending a conference and decided to check this place out after reading the Unilocal review. Our service included both a waitress and the bar area(the bar tender encouraged me to order from the waitress rather than from himself)…the waitress was personable but neglected to tell us the wait we’d be in store for and between herself and the kitchen just had a mix up between our orders, sides, drinks, checks etc. While our waitress ran back and forth we watched a bartender and upwards of 3 other employees just walking around, not attend to our drinks and generally just not care about our service. We were the only table in the restaurant and it took us about 15 minutes for our first round of drinks and upwards of an hour to get our food… funny enough the last member of our party showed up 15 minutes before the food came out, ordered & his food came out before other members in our party. The food itself was decent… some lacked flavor, some lacked appropriate sauces etc. there was no visit from management to settle the issues or confusion and all in all I just don’t think the restaurant was worth dining at… there are far too many options in this area for this restaurant to not try and be exceptional. At the end of entire process the checks were taking an excess of 20 minutes to prepare and we expressed that we would take them and just divide them amongst ourselves to which we were met with a rather rude comment from another restaurant staff member which I get was last straw. If you manage this establishment… I expect better… maybe get some of these gentlemen in the tan shirts to help the waitress out next time.

Definitely a great choice while near the Atlanta airport. Great service and everything cooked to order does indicate not being in a rush. The diverse menu offers something for everyone. Kudos for also having Gluten Free and Vegetarian items clearly marked!!! Excellent and always changing draft menu. Daily drink specials paired with a impressive house cocktail list. In the mood for a «Hellfire Dark & Stormy» or feeling a «Orange Breeze»? Very well thought wine list with impressive names at legit prices. While we come here primarily for the food travelers may want to check entertainment offered on certain nights like Saturday night trivia. Nice atmosphere away from the hotels as well. Weather permitting the outside seating is appealing. Buttermilk Fried Chicken Livers were a perfect appetizer… The buffalo mustard added a sweet kick! Smoked Trout Dip and Zipper Pea Hummus is another favorite. The Brunswick Stew arrives artistically versus chopped to oblivion, a bit sweet but everyone has a preference with this southern specialty. Nice and large pieces of pork with corn, tomatoes and delicate baby limas hits the spot. They offer a whole bowl for just $ 8 with bread — a meal in itself! The French Cuban boasts an amazing flavor explosion! Andouille sausage/shoulder pâté and the housemade dill pickles lend amazingly to this creative sandwich. The chopped brisket looked amazing and my veggie plate was a 4star by itself. Abita Root Beer Baked Beans — yes, sweet and yummy. Mac & Cheese perfectly comforting. My cornbread was dry so next time I’ll opt for the biscuit or roll. Randall was a very conscientious server– we appreciated his service and pleasant personality. We will certainly request him in future visits.

Nothing negative here. Service was attentive and knowledgable. She had suggestions for each course and why she liked them. We had the poutine with pimento cheese which was a new twist and it was very flavorful. I had the brisket sandwich with fried jalapeños and the sweet potatoes and both were very good, meat was juicy and very flavorful, not overpowered with seasoning and a perfect portion size for lunch. Enough to fill you up but not so much where after you finish you want a nap. Sweet ‘taters were sweet and spicy as they had habanero in them with maple sugar, you have to try them. Others got the 50⁄50 burger and said it was good. One burger was slightly undercooked in the middle but one bite and it was gone. Very good highly recommended. Good beer selection too lots of Monday night brewing, but we were in lunch and couldn’t partake. If you like bbq must go.

Never even got to try the food. The service was AWEFUL. The bartender ignored me after I got a beer and he and his buddies were too busy pouring themselves shots to worry about anything else. Too bad because I was really looking forward to trying the food. Beer selection is good with a variety of brewers and brews — they had a wheat wine on tap!

Holy Moses, how do you go wrong with a place called Pig and the Pint? Southern BBQ, folks! First of all, this is a gluten-free friendly restaurant. That scores extra points right there. You’re not stuck with a salad or cheese plate, either. Second of all, the food is just fantastic. I had a rack of ribs, root beer baked beans and sautéed mushrooms, this was just excellent. Third of all, the bar is decently stocked. High West whiskeys are unusual to find in most restaurant bars, but they had several. Fourth of all, the service was very good. Our waiter was attentive, but not hovering. Food came out as ordered, at the right temperature and was correct. If you’re in Atlanta and by the airport, work your way over to Pig and the Pint. You won’t be disappointed!

This is one of my favorites for casual Southern food right off I-85. Between the three dining rooms and the outdoor seating, I’ve never had to wait for a table. It’s convenient to the airport so it makes for a great first meal or last meal in the metro area. Virginia Avenue(the last exit before the airport) has a lot of national chain restaurants so I appreciate that I can get local flavors here. There’s something for just about everyone on the menu. They have high flavor dishes like Poutine and Crawfish Dip and also healthier vegetarian and gluten free dishes. I think close to 75% of the side dishes were gluten free. On my recent visit, a late lunch, I ordered the Shrimp Kabob entrée. Eight shrimp were skewered with cherry tomatoes and generously coated in a delicious parsley herb oil – so good! It came with a crispy cornbread muffin and two side dishes. I picked the Mac and Cheese and Roasted Broccoli. The broccoli had a nice smoky flavor and the mac was the best of both worlds – a thick layer of cheese on top with creamy elbows stuffed underneath. I washed it all down with a teamonade that had just the right proportion of lemonade and sweet tea. My guy was happy with his Flat Iron Steak with Succotash and Roasted Broccoli. Neither one of us had room for dessert but, as always, we left The Pig and The Pint feeling satisfied.

Stopped in for dinner with some co-workers and enjoyed the experience. Server was fantastic and complimented the experience well. Started with the fried green tomatoes with shrimp cocktail. The tomatoes were better, but the shrimp were still ok. A couple of us ordered the burgers which are 50% ground bacon. Boom! They were fantastic and 5 stars on their own. Will definitely be back for more. Everything else was in the 3 – 4 star range. Nothing special about the mac. Cheddar biscuits were not worth the upgrade.

Solid southern food restaurant located near ATL airport hotels. Lots of good choices on the menu and prices are very reasonable. Many craft beers as well. Only complaint was that the extra side dish I ordered with my meal was $ 4, half the price of the meal itself. Other than that, a real find.

Drinks and grub! This place has some soul food, down to the last tasty bite of meatloaf. I had a roast beef sandwich and a house margarita. Yum. Will return.
