The Conference Center at Cherry Hill Park

I bartended a wedding reception there this past Saturday and I have to give the venue five stars for several reasons. I stopped by the day before to meet the bride (who ended up not showing due to car problems) and chatted with Linda, one of the owners, who was doing a wonderful job of decorating the tables. She was not supposed to be there the next day for the reception (staff would be there), but she came in to make sure the bride was satisfied and that the bar had everything we needed. The facility supplies several bars, but the bride forgot to bring her coolers. Linda helped me and the other bartender find things (a big metal bowl and a styrofoam cooler) to cool the beer and wine and she did not leave until she was sure that everything was under control, and she was helpful when I had to call her later that evening.
Also, there was plenty of parking, there is a big (clean) kitchen, ice is available, the bars are nice (and can be moved anywhere), and the bathrooms are clean. Also, the rental fees are reasonable and they are building a pavilion and will have cabins ready soon so it will be perfect for family reunions. I highly recommend this venue.

I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of attending an event here several times — an annual fund raiser for breast cancer research. Cherry Hill Park is an RV park of sorts — but it has this banquet facility that is available for rent.
Ballroom area, kitchen, bathrooms, side rooms for whatever — great facility! The one down side is that the building’s cooling system is taxed when you get a whole lot of people inside carrying on — I had to step outside several times to cool off a bit.
