OMG so good! Great Italian food. Every time we eat here we order delivery. They are fast and the food is packaged well. Their side salad with ranch is one of my favorite things. I don’t know what they do to the salad, but it’s amazing :) Their garlic bread is very delicious too. Everything I’ve ever ordered is tasty. I’ve had fish, pasta, sausage dishes, pizza and they have never disappointed. They are a little more expensive then other places, but it’s worth it if you have a hankering for authentic Italian food.

This is hands down the best pizza I’ve had in this area. The sauce is light and bright and the cheese is real. The crust is almost a NY style but a little thicker and not quite as chewy. The guys that run this place stayed open later for me

The people who work here are so super nice! The woman who took my order was awesome, and the man who brought us our food was great too. Not too many opportunities to make me that happy while waiting for take out, but Mama Lucias really exceeded my expectations. Because of this it really pains me to say the food was not great. I wouldn’t get it again. My chicken parm sandwhich was like random pieces of chicken that they didn’t use for something else, several pieces were so dry the fibers were coming apart. The sauce was OK, the bread was OK, the cheese was good. The French fries were not at all seasoned– not even salt/pepper. Easily the worst fries I can remember having ever. My boyfriends pasta was overcooked. Pretty sad actually I would have loved to come back here!

Great customer service! Love the ravioli rosa! Pizza good too! When my Grubhub promo code won’t work for online/delivery, the manager MORE than made up for it! Love them!

This was my first time visiting Mamma’s, and I ordered the pasta Bolognese. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed. It looked and smelled like pink vomit. The flavor was better than appearances, but that really wasn’t that spectacular either. On the positive side, my customer service experience was pleasant. Staff were upbeat and greeted me as soon as I walked through the door; however, the Bolognese gave me an impression of Mamma’s, and I won’t be back. I am willing to try something totally different though like their pizzas. I’ve heard better reviews about the pizza than the pasta :(

Old bay wings were good. Teriyaki had a very faint flavor. Very bland. Shoestring fries… the worse. Too expensive…$ 5 delivery fee… too much. Delivery took too long. Maybe the Italian dishes are better.

Service was great, which is why it gets 3 instead of 2 stars. The bread at the beginning of the meal was good. I really liked the dipping oil — olive oil, some basil, red pepper flakes and Parmesan(unfortunately not fresh grated, just the kind from the green can). Hubby had a side garden salad and I had the side Mamma salad. Both had tons of the spring mix and not a lot else(his had 2 small slices of cucumber and one sliver of green pepper). The dressing in the mamma salad is supposed to be a raspberry vinaigrette. It was more like and overly sour raspberry dressing. The pizza was good, though super greasy. The dough was strangely way too thin in the middle and too thick 2 inches around the outside. Weird. We wouldn’t go out of our way to go here again.

This place was actually pretty good. 3.5 really. We came here as a party of 7 at 12 pm on a Tuesday. The place was empty when we got there and we were seated right away. Our waitress seemed pretty nice as she immediately took our drink orders. Soon after, the bread came. There were tons! The garlic bread was a little heavy so I wasn’t trying to fill up on it before the pasta came. It wasn’t the best I’ve tasted, but it wasn’t bad. I decided to order the shrimp scampi. All of us ordered a pasta dish(lunch portion), except for one — he got a sub. His dish came first but way ahead of all the rest of the dishes. He was pretty much almost done when ours came out. He said that he did like his dish though. It took a while for the pasta dishes to come out but my friend said that it’s because they make it from scratch, so that’s cool. Mine came with 4 jumbo shrimps, which I think is pretty good for a lunch portion. The noodles were really good and soft and the scampi sauce was great. Fresh and tarty. Not bad at all. I can’t say this is the best that I’ve had but definitely not the worst. It was filling but I wish there were more shrimpies. Anyway, this place was ok. I wouldn’t say no if we decide to go here again =)

Seriously meh.(Except for the service — thanks, Samantha!) Had a special, farfalla afumica: bow tie pasta with a pink creamy sauce, with shrimp, lobster and other fancy-pants ingredients. The sauce was fine, the lobster very good, but the shrimp was tough, and the variety they used wasn’t the right flavor. And the shrimp had the tails still on. What’s UP with that? You can’t eat the tails, can you? so when my shrimp comes with hot and messy sauce on it, what am I supposed to do? I pick them up in my fingers and burn them, I guess, then lick my fingers. I dunno, a $ 25 meal shouldn’t be a mess, unless it’s ribs. Didn’t think it was a great value. Odd atmosphere, too — table service, but with a fast-food counter; for take-out, I guess. I dunno. There’s better in the neighborhood. Franklin’s isn’t far, and there’s a pretty tasty Ethiopian place around, too. Meh.

My daughter who attends UM recommended this place. My wife and I took her advice. My Wife had rice balls which were good but the tomato sauce for dipping was warm not hot. It needs to be hot! I ordered Chicken Parmesan. This small piece of pre-fab chicken came out with this full plate of over sauced spaghetti which looked like a hot mess. I mentioned to my wife that the chef/cook could not be Italian serving food this way. What a waste of $ 50.00 bucks. I followed up the meal by calling my daughter and stating«you must be drunk when you guys come here» and you owe me $ 50 bucks!

I have a mother in law from Italy. I didn’t think it could get any better. I had the Penney Tutti it was great and Hugh portions you will not go home hungry. The bread with the homemade oil is great. The service is wonderful Allie was on it. We stayed at the Hampton in and it was so good last night we came back again tonight. The owner is clearly focus on the customer experience he greats everyone personally you really feel like family here this is just like a Sunday dinner at home with my mother in law except I can’t get the homemade wine

Three stars because service is excellent, food is mediocre. My chicken Caesar was bland, pizza is seriously lacking cheese. You know it’s real when your cheese pizza looks red, tomato sauce pizza should be the label.

Good place to eat. But a bit expensive for what it is. Ravioli is one of my go too. The bread that comes with it is ok. Salad is nothing to brag about. Cannolis are pretty good. Extensive menu.

It was super overpriced, took too long to arrive and didn’t taste good. That’s the long and short of it. We ordered delivery… three entrées and two appetizers… spaghetti with meat sauce, some chicken with white sauce and spinach, a ravioli dish, risotto balls, and mozzarella sticks. It all came to over $ 70, not including tip. Delivery took an hour and a half. The food itself was just bland. The only item that tasted ok was the mozzarella sticks, but the sauce that came with them was watery and had an odd taste. The same sauce came with the risotto balls, which were basically flavorless rice clumps with breading. Every single entrée required doctoring from our spice rack. I obviously won’t revisit this restaurant.

My new favorite local pizza place, but ONLYONTUESDAY nights when it’s pizza night! Otherwise you’ll end up dropping over 20 bucks for ONE large with three toppings… The pizza it very good, a tad on the greasy side, but the toppings are tasty and the dough is pretty good too. This has become one of our regular pizza joints!

I ordered Gamberetti Shrimp for delivery. Delivery was very prompt. The sauce was good however it could have been more flavorful. The shrimp were extremely overcooked and rubbery. I only ate about a third of the meal so needless to say it was quite disappointing at the extreme price I paid.

Pizza and subs are very good. Entrées are hit or miss. Also dinner is over priced for what you get. They need to update and change their recipes for the whole chain. The NY Style pizza is good.

Very mediocre, certainly overpriced. The only reason that they are getting three stars from me is because of the pizza. It certainly doesn’t stack up to any serious Italian pizza place but it does bring back fond childhood memories of stringy cheese and large slices. On a negative note, the pizza probably tastes good because its super greasy. Also it’s been a bit inconsistent between visits.

If you’re looking for a pizza place that serves you ounces of grease this is the place for you. I was craving a slice, decided to go to Mama Lucia for take out. What a big mistake! As you can see in my pictures my plate is full of grease, I’ve never had a greaser pizza in my life !!! The guy didn’t even give me napkins because he was too busy watching a soccer game. So much for«on the go pizza.» Don’t even get me started on their prices. $ 10 for 2 plain slices and 1 pepperoni. In New York I would pay 3.50 for that. Shame on you Mama Lucia !
