So many different choices. I will be returning. I got the Amy’s Turkey– O and it was pretty good. My sandwich was prepared in a timely manner and it was rather busy. The workers were more than helpful because I was so unsure about what to get. So many choices that sounded so delicious. My sandwich looked so good and I ate it as soon as I got in my car. I couldn’t wait lol. Great choice for lunch.

Best food and service in College Park. Ada is awesome and has a great smile. The manager is great with making sure everything is on point. He also makes sure to help with local community events. The place is always clean even when in the middle of a lunch rush. Hands down the best place in College Park, well, that and Bagel Place(legendary). Always a great salad bar that is fresh and well stocked.

I usually only go here for the salad bar, which is awesome. Unlimited plates for under 10 $ and of course the included ice cream at the end, which is the perfect dessert(and free for everyone there). However, the 3 stars is because once in a while I get the sandwiches. They are meh. I got a turkey one which was just overly salty and not very satisfying. I did get the veggie panini last time, which was actually the best sandwich I got there. They are definitely not bad, just medicore overall. Go for the salad bar… oh yea and those little muffins that are also out for everyone.

I work nearby Jason’s and come here with coworkers every so often. The food and service are both good. My biggest complaint is that the food doesn’t exactly feel worth the price. It’s not bad at all, but it seems very simple, or the portions can come across as small. I don’t ever eat my fill, and I feel like I’m always paying a few bucks more than I should be. Being right next to the University can make this place pretty busy, but as long as you go on some off-peak lunch hours, you should be fine. I’ll be back again, with work, as usual. Next time I suggest lunch though, I’ll probably bring us a little further down the road to Franklin’s. Their place has a bit more personality. If you like a steady, reliable, simple meal(and there’s nothing wrong with that!), Jason’s is great. I think I just like to have a little bit more of an adventure when going out to eat.

Came here for a fundraiser. Ordered the roast beef sandwhich and chicken alfredo pasta. Place is mediocre. I love how much beef they stuffed in the sandwhich, but the pasta lacked seasoning. The pomegranate juice with sugar cane was good. Their salad bar looked very fresh and affordable compared to other competitors in the area. They do have free ice cream and bread. I think all these free items may factor into the slightly higher cost for their dishes. If your hungry and craving some American food I’d go elsewhere.

I love it! My colleagues and I eat here often. The food is great, the staff is amazing, and the catering is convenient.

Pretty affordable for what you get. Sandwiches are stacked. I will say the soup cups are a little small, but honestly they’re probably just reasonable. All you can eat salad bar for $ 8.50. I mean, come on. No meat, but eggs, beans, quinoa, cheeses. And the salad bar is CLEAN and FRESH. I’ve been to a lot of salad bars. You don’t always see that. Ok, and now for the important part. FREEICECREAMAFTEREVERYMEAL. It looked like vanilla. I wish I wasn’t on a diet. But that’s pretty sweet. Clean and fast, although cafeteria-like. Big pay to park lot, not too pricey. Solid lunchtime place for a big group.

If I’d been aware that it would take them 15 mins to make a to go salad when there were literally 5 other people in the store I’d have gone elsewhere

Pricey sandwiches. Forgot to make my sandwich. Waited 20 minutes for it. Pretty mediocre tasting. Literally gave me bread with meat, no dressing or any other toppings. Would have complained but I took it to go because of the long wait. Overall downer of an experience. At least there’s free ice cream. Shout out to David E!

Great variety, making it a good place to go with large groups of friends. There are soups, salads, pastas, and more. They also have a lot of healthy options to choose from, with healthy sides(like steamed veggies instead of chips with your sandwich). That being said, my friends and I take full advantage of the free ice cream My favorites are the salmon-wich, Sante Fe chicken sandwich, or the California Club.

Fantastic salad bar! Great variety of toppings/sides for your salad, and it’s always fresh and well-stocked. Plenty of seating in Jason’s Deli, it’s a large restaurant. A good place to take mom and dad if they come and visit College Park!

My favorite place for salad bar! You get a huge bowl and put there whatever you want. The vegetables always fresh and the variety is big. There are many kinds of dressings and grains. They even have mini cakes! Since I found this place, this is the only place where I buy salad. There only one downside(in my opinion) which is that even though the place is big with many tables, there’s only one *small* t.v. I wish they would add more t. v screens.

I was really pleasantly surprised at this place. It was suggested by a business colleague I was meeting for lunch. I knew it was there but it’s near the University of MD so I thought it would be the typical college hang out type place. It wasn’t. They actually have plenty of room and tables even during busy periods. The food is healthy and they’re not embarrassed to let you know how many calories each selection has. You order from a cashier and when the food is ready, they bring it out to you. The fountain soft drinks and soft serve ice cream are part of the deal which I think is a nice touch. Lots of different choices and a lot of them on the healthy side. The only downside is metered parking in the lot but well worth it if you’re looking for a decent meal in a place that’s not overly expensive with quick service and good food.

Throughout my 4.5 years at college park, I did not once step into Jason’s deli just because other restaurants were around the corner. I went for the first time a couple weeks ago, months after graduating, and realized that I was missing out. Don’t remember which panini I ordered, but it was delicious. Something with turkey. And bacon. Also ordered the French onion soup, but it was a little too oniony for me. The service was friendly, greeted with a smile. The thing that had me sold about this restaurant was the free soft serve iced cream. That’s right FREE. I was baffled by this concept. Do they expect people to not take advantage of FREE ice cream? I shamelessly got a free ice cream. Waited for my order. Finished the ice cream. Then got another. And then another. That’s right 3 ice creams!

I just had another great salad bar at Jason’s Deli. Lots of deliciousness — sunflower seeds, really good olives, real bacon, etc. etc. I love their crackers, which have seeds and pep it’s in them. Also today, black currant iced tea. The fruit and yogurt is a nice dessert, too. I’ll be back!

I rate the food as 2.5 stars, but I round up my rating to 3 because the service is good, prices are good, portions are big, and service is friendly. As for the food itself — I’m not really a fan. When my company caters lunch, Jason’s deli is one of their 2 go to places. I never really liked the boxed lunches, so I was hesitant to go to this place for lunch. However, I was lured by unlimited ice cream and dessert so I went. And I figured I’d give it a try — I thought maybe that a sit down meal would be better than a bagged lunch. I got a Reuben and the chicken pot pie soup. As for the catered lunches — I’ve eaten most of their sandwiches. I’ve had the tuna salad, chicken salad, roast beef, Italian, ham, etc. I’ve never really liked their food. I’m generally on the keto diet so bread’s not a big deal for me, but I can say without a doubt that their bread sucks. It tastes like way overly processed bread, and in fact — I would prefer grocery store wonder bread to their bread. The sandwiches tend to be bland, and the meats aren’t exactly high quality. Take my Reuben as an example — the meat seems like your run of the mill rubbery mystery meat you can find at any grocery. And I’m not talking about Whole Foods, but Giant or Safeway. And it’s not the mid-level decent stuff you buy by the pound and the butcher slices for you, but the stuff that’s packaged in plastic containers. Now normally, a Reuben is greasy warm yummy goodness. Not so at this place, the bread isn’t toasted, there isn’t enough grease, the sauer kraut is bland, the meat is rubbbery, the sauce is bland, etc. The only good thing going for it is that it’s a huge portion. No matter, I ended up not eating most of it because it wasn’t good. Like their other sandwiches. Seriously — I’d rather go to wawa, I’m sure they have lower quality products, but they taste okay at least. So yeah, I mean, I won’t really go back here. I’d rather spend the extra money and get a much better sandwich.

Given the fact that I’m a college student on a restricted budget, I try not to eat out as much during the school year. But when I do, Jason’s Deli is my go-to place. I definitely recommend the Wild Salmon-Wich and Zucchini Grillini(for vegetarians). The salmon in the SalmonWich is well-cooked and juicy. The Zucchini Grillini is healthy and very flavorful. warm melted cheese w/roasted zucchini and red peppers, organic spinach, red onions, roma tomatoes, Mmm! Both are served with good portions and very filling. The sandwiches come with a choice of baked or blue tortilla chips with salsa or guac. There’s also a free salad bar with selection of greens, croutons, crackers, garlic bread, and corn bread that’s available for carry-out…all worth the price of one meal! Best of all, there’s FREE soft-serve ice-cream cones(vanilla, chocolate, vanilla/choco swirl). Food is definitely worth the price! I recommend sitting down and eating in the restaurant, because then you’ll be able to enjoy all the complimentary benefits that come with the purchase of a single meal(i.e. free soft-serve ice cream, endless salad bar, etc). Service is also quick and efficient, and there’s always ample seating available.

The place has a salad bar and gives free ice cream — need I say more? I don’t need to but I will! I love their giant baked potatoes that come loaded with everything, their fruit cups which are always fresh and sweet and of course, their soups, their sandwiches. Okay okay —-I like everything here! This location is spacious unlike many closet establishments in the near by DC. I can actually relax and enjoy my meal without feeling like I’m being squeezed between a wall and the next table. Plus there’s ample parking(yes paid) so no circling around forever looking for a space while I am hungry and ready to grub.
