Great food(really tasty & super presentation), nice premises and great music and friendly staff — an all round nice experience.

What can I say, it’s pretty decent fast food, but not amazing. The burgers are good, but a bit small for $ 10 and the fries are just off in some way I can’t quite put my finger on. In particular, the sweet potato fries, which should be awesome, are only so-so. That’s particularly disappointing because I pretty much have to get them since just the burger isn’t quite enough food. That all being said, I come here more than I probably should because they allow online ordering ahead and I can come, get food and get out quickly, which is really nice.

Pretty good burgers and toppings. I got the New Mexico burger and my husband got the brunch burger. We shared the combo order of fries and onion rings. The fries were good but I didn’t care for the onion rings. They were very crispy and were a strange consistency. My daughter loved the shake, but was upset that it didn’t come with the whipped cream in the photo. We may try it again.

Not many places I can get a freshly ground turkey burger so for that reason alone I give them 3 stars. Then add the variety of options and sauces available to add on your burger and the fact that it’s not greasy. Five guys has yet to sell turkey burgers so I can’t compare them since I don’t eat red meat. The Bobby Palace at Arundel Mills seems to be the best, followed by the one downtown(K St) and lastly the College Park location that doesn’t understand«cooked WELLDONE»(but CP does have the most convenient parking). Apparently They’re not all created equal.

Once again Unilocal was right, this place was not so good. I had the Dallas burger made with turkey. As soon as it arrived I thought it didn’t look that bad, but it didn’t look that good. The bun was just not right in texture or flavor. The burger was ok and I did eat it. My partner had the Palace burger He said five guys is better and I agree. Our Onion rings arrived after we finished our burger and they were overcooked, greasy & the onion itself was too thin. the batter to onion ratio was off. We will not be returning :( When I was there it seemed a lot of people just ordered shakes and that’s it, so Maybe that’s what is really good here.

Chef Bobby Flay is one of my favorite celebrity chefs, and watching how he works leads you to believe he is meticulous and good at what he does. My mistake was projecting that image upon this restaurant. I ordered 4 beers and fries. It took at least 30 minutes to get any of it. We finally had to go up and tell them we were leaving to go to the Maryland basketball game. The cashier was incredibly rude and ignored me when I just tried to ask for the beers… Bottled beers. Won’t be stopping by there again. Sorry, Bobby.

I’m a huge fan of Chef Bobby Flay and was excited to try his burger spot. I ordered the palace classic burger which comes with lettuce, tomato, red onions and cheese. I ditched the tomato and requested cheddar over the American, regular fries and lemonade. Fries were fresh but a bit crisper than I would have liked but put a few on my burger and it was perfect. Now the real deal… the burger! Fantastic!!! Nice flavor, JUICY yet lean, cooked perfectly(medium). My mouth was happy from the very first bite! Heck I wanted to order another just because. Food is made fresh so relax and wait. Trendy décor with long tables and stools, good music and overall great set up. Truly one of the best burgers I’ve had. Price about $ 8-$ 9 which is not bad for a burger this size and this good. I suggest you just order the burger and maybe a drink. It will definitely fill you up. Oh… they serve beer and wine and shakes.

Nothing to write home about… but alas, that has been my experience at all of Mr. Flay’s establishments. Apparently, according to the cashier, Mr. Flay does not believe in veggie burgers; thus, vegetarians are subjected to the usual array of salads and grilled cheese options… because of course, all vegetarians always crave salads, right? Ok. The grilled cheese sandwich was ok… but had a strange after taste. The white wine was good, but definitely not worth $ 6.50. Can’t say I’d return.

Apparently the menu description is misleading then. It says it’s «pressed with ham, swiss, mayo, pickles, mustard.» Now your saying run over with a panini press. Also, you didn’t address the fact that there was barley any ham. The picture from the menu looks much better

Nothing special about this burger joint. We ordered Dallas and LA burgers. The bread was very dry. After eating my food, I started having stomach ache.

I LOVE burgers. On a whim when my partner and o decided to go here after passing it many times because we were in the mood for a burger and a milkshake… we should have kept searching. We ordered two burgers, fries and onion rings and a milkshake Cons: on a Friday night they only had one person working the register. She seemed exhausted and the line took far longer than it should have(~15 minutes). The food was alright, but it was so SO salty! Seriously, I’m still reaching for my water after this meal. Pros: the food can out quickly and the staff was super nice. Overall-it’s alright, but I probably will never come back.

Don’t believe the hype just bc it’s a celeb chefs place. Burgers are ok. But I’m not paying a few extra dollars for you to put chips on my burger. Also the burger should come with fries. You shouldn’t have to pay extra for a scant amount of fries. The only saving grace is the bourbon milkshake!

Awesome experience the food was cooked perfect. The customer service was awesome… A little pricey We had several different styles of burgers and they all were cooked perfect and the onion rings were the best in Maryland.

Bobby’s crunchburger is basically just a glorified cheeseburger. The menu allows any burger to be «crunchified», quickly exemplifying how a gourmet burger joint can try too hard. The concept is to have a layer of potato chips included in the burger, requiring one to press the top bun down, thereby effectively squashing the chips in the middle, in order to fit a mouthful of a bite. This experience was akin to having someone accidentally sit on a bag of chips and then trying to hide the mistake between two buns. The burgers itself are decent, but don’t let the novelty of the crunch trick you into thinking you’re paying for anything more than crushed chips tossed arbitrarily in with your patty.

Customer Service was amazing at this location. From the cashier taking the order, to the lady who brought our food to the table. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The lady who brought our food could tell it was our first time and took a few minutes to explain the sauces and what they were for and which was considered their«best sauce.» She also offered to refill out drinks which are actually self serve. Décor: Its very nice inside. A nice retro vibe with green banner-type at the top of the ceilings and nice swivel green chairs at a curvy table. A cool place to eat in. Menu: very simple on a back wall. May present a problem as the line is here as well so if you aren’t quite ready to order and just looking, it could appear that you are in line holding it up. If the line is extremely long you may have trouble reading the menu from the back of the line. Burgers are priced at about 7 – 8 bucks each 2 burgers, a side and two drinks was about $ 25 The food: So as a Food Network fan, I definitely went in with high expectations because after all this is a Bobby Flay restaurant! I love Bobby Flay. I ordered the Bobby Bleu and friend ordered the Crunchburger. Upon receiving the burgers I noticed the buns looked really small. Too small for the burgers. And while I can appreciate a sesame seed bun, this bun was completely covered in sesame seeds. We were still picking them out of our teeth on the way home. The burger itself tasted pretty plain. I was expecting some special flavor something that set these burgers apart from others and it just wasn’t there. The burgers were cooked at the requested level of done-ness. The crunchburger was just a cheeseburger with potato chips on top. Bleu burger had blue cheese and bacon. We did not care for the fry sauce. At all. Onion rings looked pretty good I didn’t personally try them but was told it was great. The burgers were in no way bad just not anything particularly special… especially for the price. This would be a great place to meetup with friends for a quick bite. Great tables to accommodate a group. Food tastes fine just don’t expect something grand.

In a word. .. Disappointed! A big fan of the food network I was initially encouraged to learn that the ‘Bobby” of Burger Place was indeed Bobby Flay of whom I’m also a fan Decided to meet my son(attending U of MD) for lunch. Arrived to a mostly empty space and greeted by a cordial hostess. Collectively ordered the LA and Bobby Blue burgers, onion rings and fries. Honestly, completely blown away by the mediocrity of the food. It was as if Flay was simply being paid to endorse a third party endeavor. The burger patty was cooked as I requested but none-the-less several tiers bellow Five Guys. All the characteristics of a frozen patty with emphasis on portion control. The fries were twice fried and horrible. The upsides(and only reason for a second star) were the beer battered onion rings which were excellent as well as the assortment of sauces, chipotle ketchup in particular. One experience is enough for me.

Been here twice and love it enough to go back again. Wish I had taken a picture to show you all how amazing it is, but I ate my food too fast. The milkshakes are amazing. Definitely worth it. Onion rings are GIANT(you get about 4 or 5), sweet potato friends are the bomb. I’m a fan of the breakfast burger because it comes with a fried egg on top, but all the other burgers look amazing as well. Oh yeah, they have grilled cheese. With bacon. I know. Service is always great when I go. Paid parking lot in the back, about $ 1 an hour so very reasonable.

Unfortunately I need to downgrade my rating. I would like to give them 2 stars because of my most recent experience, but I still think that overall the food is quite good. On a recent visit I got a griddled cheese, and I have to say that it was quite good. However the disappointing part of the meal was the fries. I got an order of regular fries and found them to be pretty bad tasting. Two things were wrong, first there were overcooked fries mixed in with properly cooked fries, secondly and worse the fries clearly tasted like they were cooked in oil that had been tainted by previously burnt fires. This is a quality control and consistency issue. And I really feel like such simple things should not be allowed to ruin a restaurants reputation. Imagine how many people went home with the lingering taste of bitter fries.

10 or 15%(sorry i forgot) off on tuesdays with student ID I don’t know if it’s cus I was really hungry but the burger was really good. I got the Carolina crunchified. I wish it did have more of a tang but it’s okay. The sweet potatoes were so so so good with sauce they give you. I wish the sauce was a little thicker but whatever. The fries were good too. Both came out hot :) i tried the philly burger and that was really good. When it says hot peppers it means the hot(spicy) tangy peppers. I want this burger next time! They have lots of different sauces on the table and have napkins as well. It is a little pricy for college students and I am glad they have the Tuesday discount. I would probably go again on a Tuesday. burgers are ~7−8 fries ~3−4 Parking in the back. Pay first and put your receipt in the car window so it is visible. Also there is parking for the apartment residents and visitors to the restaurant CANNOT park there. THEREARESPIKESONTHEGROUNDSOBECAREFUL :)

Great place! I enjoy a good burger, but most places are just too greasy and leave me with an unpleasantly heavy feeling in my stomach. This is the total opposite. I enjoy the burgers I make/have at home and Bobby’s is by far the closest to what I have at home. You can customize your order down to pretty much everything and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were alright, nothing to write home about but they weren’t soggy by any means. The interior is super-cute. I appreciate how the kitchen is semi-visible. I’m sure some of the credit has to go to how new the building is — I wonder how long it’ll stay in this good shape. Would definitely come here, and other locations of their chain, again.
