This science center (otherwise known as ACP) is located on M Square Research Park, which is right next to U of Maryland. ACP houses quite a few scientific organizations such as the American Institute of Physics, and the American Physical Society.
The library inside ACP has the largest number of materials related to physics in the country, Included in their collection are interviews with famous physicists such as Oppenheimer. When I visited a friend who is a researcher here, I was impressed by a huge wall that shows a history of physics — mostly with information involving the 20th century.
There is also a space with exhibits that are really interesting, and surprisingly.beautiful. I posted a pic of an example of a photo from archetypal DNA strings.
