Elm Hill Farm Fencing

Pete/​Pierre, the owner, and his grandsons do a great job. Had my first fence, a wooden decorative fence, installed by them in 2000. Gave them the job based on the fine work they did installing a similar fence for my neighbors. I’m having them replace that fence this spring (2015). My neighbors are doing the same. Last year they installed a 6 ft. high custom dog run along side my garage; and they fenced my entire back yard, about ¼ acre, at the same time. Worked with me every step of the way. Pete’s a stickler for detail, too. At one point his grandsons had installed a section of fence that skewed off the gig line — he came back of his own volition — ripped it out and had them do it over the next day. I didn’t catch it, he did. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Elm Hill Farm is owned by the same extended family as Little House by Andre, located on the same lot, and equally deserving of 5 stars on Unilocal.We bought 25 feet of fencing from them last month. They took the time to walk us through the measurements to make sure we were getting what we needed, they answered our questions professionally and clearly, they completed an order (with specific cutting instructions) about an hour after we ordered, they helped us load up the fencing on our car, and even offered us the use of their truck to drive the fencing to our Burlington home.
Let me repeat in a separate paragraph for emphasis: They offered to LOAN US THEIR TRUCK to make sure we got the fencing home safely.
All of this and their prices are reasonable (understandably more than Lowe’s/Home Depot, but not by much). If you want to buy local, this is the place for you.
