Dunkin’ Donuts

I don’t know what’s going on at this Dunkin’ but every time I come here they manage to mess up my very basic orders in some way despite having no other customers. I’ve ordered 3 iced coffees there in the last couple months and 2 of the 3 were missing the caramel syrup I paid extra for, and the other one was so watery I couldn’t taste coffee at all. I guess by the third time I should have learned to taste it before leaving, but it baffles me that the person behind the counter can’t manage to add the one ingredient I want to put in my coffee. They also managed to put the wrong meat on my boyfriend’s breakfast sandwich during our most recent visit. I recommend checking over your order carefully before leaving if you decide to visit this location.

I definitely need to update my review since they did a major remodel of this Dunkin Donuts. It’s very nicely decorated and the sitting area is small but inviting with a couch and easy chairs. The counter set up is clean and organized. Service was quick and friendly here too recently! I did notice staff being loudly chatty during down-​time about items I’m sure clients don’t want to hear about as they are sipping coffee quietly. But overall, great food, service and facility. Drive through looks like it’s working very well too. Nice job Colchester DD!

I normally don’t write reviews for fast food places; however, this one requires me to warn my fellow Unilocalers… I have been here a number of times – and almost every single time – when you order a meal at the drive-​through, they do not give you the tater tot side that is an integral part of the breakfast meals. This has happened at this location at least 7 – 8 times over the past year, including 20 minutes ago – which prompted me to write this review.
Yes, I know, I should check the bag before I drive away – I should not assume when you place an order they’ll actually get it right and give you what you paid for. Technically speaking, they rip you off – nay, they steal your money.
Put simply: you order a breakfast meal + you pay for it + they do NOT give you the food you paid for (on multiple occasions over time) = stealing the consumer’s money. Outrageous. I’m done with this DD location.

I don’t think the drive thru headpiece has good ear pieces. Almost every time I use the drive thru they give me a ice coffee when I asked for hot.

I’m pretty used to poor service at Dunkin Donuts, but this store took it to a whole new level of low. Old coffee plus a group of degenerates that can’t seem to understand the meaning of ONE sugar and ONE cream. Instead I end up with a cup of sugar cream with one shot of coffee. Usually I can force the garbage down my throat rather than be miserable and tired. Disappointing.

That said, staff are friendly and efficient. You know it’s a good Dunks when they still take the time to put the cream cheese on your bagel. And the bagel ain’t burnt by an overzealous toaster.
