I’ve been here twice and it was terrible. First time we had horrible service. The waitress messed up every order we had. Second time the food was awful. Over cooked chicken and spoiled cottage cheese. There’s a reason seating is always available. Go next door.

Tavern on the Plaza is a neat little restaurant in the old downtown area, located in an old bank building. I enjoy sitting at their bar — very neat atmosphere and service is attentive. They have a good wine and draft beer selection, more variety than you would expect around here.
Food is really good. I’ve enjoyed their hamburger, rueben, and french dip sandwich. Salads and side dishes are good. It’s great to see places like this doing well in the downtown area. Give it a try!

For where it is. the town i mean. Its actually not that bad… If you want a nice place to sit down and eat a pretty decent meal. Ive tried several things on the menu over the years. So this is more of a general review. I would say … Above par for coffeyville. So check it out. Its def worth a try if your in this one horse town.

I was in town on business. I had lunch one day and dinner. The prices are good. The staff was all really friendly and nice. I had a great sandwich and fries at lunch and a good big salad for dinner. Only complaint is that there is limited seating without smoking. We had a big group for dinner and they were really accommodating.
