Top notch service, food, drinks, golf, views, course conditions, greens, etc. If you have the chance to experience this course, don’t hesitate. Also make sure to take the boat shuttle from the resort to the course — bucket list experience for any golfer. Kudos to the staff at CDA Resort — they’ve nailed it!

Wow! Amazing golf course only exceeded by their amazing staff! From the drive there, where one was greeted by a very pleasant gatekeeper and cordial, welcoming valets to the pro shop personnel, who fitted my son and I with great equipment; this was THE highlight of our family vacation(which incidentally included Silverwood, parasailing, fishing, and a few water parks). Of special note was our caddie Danny who was spot on with his reads and positively encouraging of my son(a novice golfer). One would expect all this to cost an arm and a leg, but prices were reasonable for a grand course such as this. This is a MUST for any avid golfer visiting the area!

The resort course at Coer d’ Alene is a definite golfing experience that any avid golfer should seek out. Playing to a par 71 at 6800 yds from the back tees, the course is as forgiving and as fun as you can imagine. The par 3’s on this track really stood at and are some of the most scenic golf holes that I have played. Upon arriving at the course for the 1st tee time of the day, I was created by our forecaddie, Shane, and after hitting some floating range balls into the lake it was time to tee it up! The course starts out with a forgiving par 5 and I started out with a hot birdie… which I promptly gave right back on the difficult second hole. A barrage of world class par 3’s quickly greats you on 3, 5 and 6. The 5th hole quickly became one of my favorites. After some good golf and a few birdies, we finally arrived at the 14th hole. Oh ho man! Is that a floating green? Indeed it is! The green is actually movable and on this Saturday was playing at about 180 yards. I managed to find the surface and took an enjoyable boat ride on the«Putter» a wooden boat that gives groups rides out to the green. After receiving my certificate of achievement for completing the world’s only floating, movable golf hole with a score of 3, I moved on with a smile on my face. On the tee of the 18th, I needed a birdie to shoot an even par 71. I was not to be denied as I rolled in a casual 10 footer to cap off an outstanding day on a memorable golf course.

I’m on the golf course right now, and I’m loving it! I’m on hole 12, and my game is horrible, but the views are beautiful. The maintenance crew apparently are gods of the lawn, because this place is immaculate. I’m not surprised that this pace has a perfect 5 star rating.

We just got back from this wonderful resort, and I loved almost everything about it. The room, even though it was one of the least expensive, was large and very comfortable. The service from start to finish was excellent. My husband golfed, and enjoyed the amazing course and the luxe extras like a pre game range massage and the floating green. I hit the spa and experienced the Cedar Waters Package, which was unique. The massage therapist was very good. The staff overall was attentive and helpful, and ready to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My only complaint is with the resort restaurants. The hotel owner has four or five restaurant properties in and near the hotel. We ate in 3 of them, and they were all mediocre. Also, a note for parents: many restaurants in the downtown Coeur D’alene area are for adults only: that is, they are bars and no minors are allowed. Strange. Tito Macaronis was the best of the three hotel properties we tried. While the portions were abnormally huge(we split entrees and it was still too much food) the quality was good. The in-resort family restaurant is called Dockside, and they had the same lame menu for lunch and dinner. We returned our steak dinner because it was inedible. The clam appetizer was very good, and other items were just ok. Overall, very uneven, and not what I expected for a first class resort. That seems to be true of Coeur D’Alene overall, outside of the resort. We didn’t try Beverly’s, their fine dining restaurant, because the others were all so bad we just couldn’t justify spending even more money to try it. Here’s a tip that will save you a lot of money. Join the hotel’s Specials and Promotions Club. I worked with Kirstin Remp, and she was amazing! She got us great deals through packages, and was fabulous.

This is one amazing golf course, which even includes a nice private beach. And the views to the south are amazing.

Happy to be the first to Unilocal one of the finest golf courses I’ve had the pleasure of playing. The whole experience is unbelievable — a speed boat picks you up at the resort and drops you off at the dock at the course. You meet your caddy there and he sets your bags up. You get a message at the driving range where you smack your floating balls into Lake Couer d’Alene. Your cart has chrome wheels and mahogany dashboards. I haven’t even talked golf yet!!! The course is as well maintained as possible — it is like playing on green velvet. I’ve heard legend that they bring out portable lights every night and work on the course every day to keep it in great playing shape. All of their par three holes are beautiful and memorable, but the grand daddy hole is their signature«floating green.» The only true island green in golf that is not connected to land at any point. A boat takes you from the tee box to the green and back. I got a par, and was happy. Several of their holes utilize the gorgeous Lake Couer d’Alene and that makes it extra beautiful and difficult. One of the best golf experiences of my life, period. Plus I got to see John Elway and his sick ass boat there. So as Ice Cube says, it was a good day.
