So, so good! Friendly employees… And people I am guessing are regulars! I got a Corned Beef Platter $ 13.50 Worth every last penny. I passed up all the usual places because I wanted to sit outside. Downtown was way to busy. Kelly’s Irish Pub & Grill is excellent! I would recommend it to anyone!

Love their food! They have the best Reuben in town. Great service every time! We sometimes walk there with our dog(s) and eat outside. They will even bring water for the dogs! The owners are usually there, so you are bound to get a visit by them to check up on you and make sure you are well taken care of.

I pretty much never go anywhere that doesn’t have mostly good reviews on Unilocal. My friend thinks that’s really funny, but as we were on our way to get a sandwich at a place across the street, this pub popped up, too. I’m so glad we tried it! The barmaid(yes that is appropriate for a pub) welcomed us immediately and said we could sit wherever we wished. She brought us menus and took drink orders right away. Turned out she was«everything» at that time(between lunch and happy hour), so the only time she wasn’t actively checking on us was when she prepared our delicious food. I chose fish tacos, although I confess to being slightly skeptical about this being Irish ;) As a California girl, I grew up eating from taco trucks and although I know Ireland is a big fishing country, it never occurred to me they would have tacos! Irish-Mexican fusion?!? In any case, they were absolutely delicious and very filling. I could only eat a few of the tasty fries, once I consumed two tacos and an amber ale. My friend’s Reuben was so massive(see photo) she literally only managed to eat a third of it! We happily packaged up our leftovers and had them for dinner! I could see this place as a very popular hangout for locals, which I am not. If I lived nearby, I’d make this a regular stop.

Kelly’s is the place for anyone seeking a delicious Irish plate of food and a pint to pair with it! The food is absolutely amazing and they have multiple fresh beers on tap. The owners are great local people that provide a great establishment focused on customer service and great quality food. The best Irish bar in the area! Two thumbs up!

One of my favorite places to eat not too expensive and the food is fantastic. But the best part is the service I’ve always had the same waitress and after the first time she remembered who I was and what I like.

I went looking for Shepards pie and my wife looking for Cobb salad. Shepard pie and Cobb salad were both on the menu, so all was great. After reading the menu, I found the Shepards pie was made from beef and not lamb. I guess this is beef country. That makes it Cottage pie. A different animal. I but i did see Bangers and Mash. OK. The Cobb salad was great according to my wife. Since Cobb salad is Cobb salad, what make one of them great? But this one was. Bangers and Mash. Very good sausage cooked very well. Mash perfect in consistecy for my taste and the side of carrots in butter, A-one. Top off with Irish Coffee, and all is good. This is the typical neighborhood pub i a nice area of Coeur D’alene. Looks like the locals are the main draw as it should be.

One of the best restaurants in the area. The staff is super personable, the food is excellent(try that Donnegal or the Pork BBQ). Live music on Tuesdays and always great conversations with the staff. Went here several times in a week and will plan on making this my go to spot for hangouts and good times! In all honestly the food does remind me of my time in Ireland. They take an idea and run it to great standards. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area or who are visiting.

Probably the best Irish food restaurant I have ever eaten at. It’s a simple pub with amazing food. I’ve eaten several different meals all been great. But the best is the Boxty Corned Beef

Been here a few times. The food is ok, not great. The beer selection is good. Atmosphere is lacking and its always empty. The service is good, but like I said it’s never busy. only a few people. Not super impressed with this place

We have had lunch here several times and the food has always been good. Today was a real eye opener for me. The cook was sitting at the bar when I arrived. She was talking on her cell phone while running her hands through her hair. After I placed my order, she gets up and heads to the kitchen to fix my lunch. You could see right into the kitchen from where I was sitting. Did she was her hands or put on gloves? Nope! I know people can make mistakes, but this one was huge! Never returning unless the owners make some kind of effort to ensure this is a safe kitchen to order food from.

The BEST rueben I’ve ever had. There, I said it. :) This is a bold statement, as I LOVE ruebens and try one everywhere I go. But theirs is absolutely divine.

You all probably wanna update Google. Drove from the opposite end of hayden to come and have some dinner on a Sunday as Google said you were open and you were not. A little irritating. Maybe we will try again sometime and I’ll change my review. Oh yeah and your sign said open too. *_*

Keep going up the street a bit to Capone’s. unless you want reeeeally bad food. I got the sliders & a Guinness for lunch one day. I couldn’t make sliders that bad with dollar store ingredients if I was blackout drunk. Speaking of drunk, there were quite a few day-drunks in the small pub. They were just abysmal & overpriced. Decent service was its only positive quality!

A friendly, server greeted us as we came through the door and told us to sit where ever we liked. Kelly’s is a small place with more seating outside and has that comfortable feeling of a local joint with it’s own loyal customer base. A sign board out front said the evening special was the Black n Blue Burger with fries. I asked for coleslaw instead of fries and it was tangy good and cruncy good. The Black n Blue was a good, hearty burger and as well as the blue cheese crumbles, it was topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. Hubby wanted his Burger without the Blue and that was no problem. I had a few of his fries and they were good as well. There is a large menu for a relatively small place and they even have breakfast. If the burgers are any indication, I’d love to come back and try some of their other selections some time.

Great little Irish Pub to sit down & enjoy some beers & fish-n-chips. Everyone was down to earth friendly. The beer came in a deliciously chilled Mug fresh from the Keg great place for a great price!

This is a fun spot to stop. Our bicycle club stops here often when we ride. The other patrons like when 10 or more old cruisers roll in and park out front. The Guinness is always perfect. The phillys are pretty good. I haven’t tried to many things on the menu cause I always order the same thing. Besides Guinness there’s always a porter or an IPA on tap.

Fish & Chips my good lad!.. …and yes indeed fish and chips we had! Delicious and juicy! an absolute treat for my quick visit in Coeur D Alene(Thanks Bryan). We came here already with this deep fried swimmer in mind, we ordered our pint of beers, went al fresco and relaxed until our basket of goodies came. I have to say, this basket of fried deliciousness really took me by surprise, golden brown hefty chunks of battered and deep fried cod served on top of a hot and fresh mound of french fries with a small ramekin of yummy coleslaw… It was good! Beer selections are okay, bottles or on draft(draught) you pick, since Kelly’s is an «Irish pub», we all had the frothy pint of Guinness which I have to say compliments our F&C very much. If you are looking for a quick satisfying evening bite, I highly recommend Kelly’s for their fish and chips, Enjoy the night in the company of your good friends and the golden brown cod. Cheers matey!

This pub couldn’t be more amazing. We stopped in for a drink after having dinner downtown and sat right at the bar. The bartender, Isaac, was very attentive and personable. They had the best(not the biggest) beer selection. You just can’t find any other place that has Irish Death, Dragon’s Breath and not to mention Trickster(brewed in Hayden) on tap. We sat and enjoyed a pint of Irish Death, and then a woman came out of the kitchen and sat to drink some water. We started talking with her and found out she was the owner. We sat and talked with her for about 20 minutes, and I think that discussion is what really sold me on this place. She let us know everything is made from scratch(except the fries), she complimented her employees(her kitchen manager Danielle is apparently amazing), and she talked to us about her passion for the town and her business. She also let us know that they are a big supporter of the Cda Fire Dept Pipes and Drums, and they have several local traditional Irish musicians who play regularly. She threw in the fact that they have nightly contests, and an ongoing trivia game on their Facebook page, which is super fun if you like winning(and who doesn’t love winning??). Seriously, try their food, drink their beer, listen to their music, and fall in love with this place.

The first time we visited the pub it was on St. Patricks day so we expected it to be busy. It was standing room only around the bar. The live music was a fun touch to the atmosphere. Luckily they have a small back room so we could sit down and eat. The corned beef was excellent! sadly I found a long hair underneath the breading of my fish and chips, They were also pretty greasy. The waitress did great keeping up with everything considering she was slammed. We will have to try again when it’s not so busy to get a better feel of it.
