The main courses probably won’t knock your socks off(though I did mightily enjoy my spaghetti), but you can’t beat the location right on the lake. What I especially enjoyed was the enormous salad bar(5 dollars with purchase of an entrée) and they had a surprisingly good draft list. Our server was fantastic(kudos Rebekah!) and we had a great view of the lake.

This restaurant offers great views any time of day, but evenings are special. The menu is pretty varied and desserts are to die for. Friendly staff, good environment!

Visiting from California, We booked a home through Airbnb for a wedding and our host had Dockside listed specifically for the gooeys. Exactly what we were looking for! We had the Reese’s Gooey and it was amazing. We had a fairly large group of primarily kids, and our server was very friendly and prompt. Unfortunately our 2 year old had a meltdown towards the end so we had to hurry out since an older couple sitting nearby were very vocal about our son in addition to eye rolls and glares. That was very upsetting to us. When visiting again we most likely will go without the kids since the vibe we got wasn’t very welcoming from patrons. Kind of a bummer, but it is what it is.

Views from the lake were nice. Went for mothers day brunch. Food was average. Reminded me of anyother buffet. Desserts however were great. Did this year’s ago and remembered ice sculptures and the place dressed up more. The«fancy» is how I justified the cost(then around $ 25-$ 30 per person). Now it is way over priced for the quality at $ 43 per person.

Great food, sunset and family at Dockside at the CDA Resort. Burger, salads, fish and chips and shakes were well presented and flavorful. Definitely will be back. It’s almost summer!

Their salad bar is great. It went through a time where it had issues but now it is great again. Their fish and chips is yummy! Kid friendly!

Dockside has the view you hope to see when you visit Coeur D’Alene Resort. Along with a stunning view, you get unique food(seafood is most impressive), beautifully presented, friendly environment(restaurant & resort staff), and a «gooey». Located on the first floor of Coeur D’Alene Resort, Dockside is easily accessible through the main lobby and they offer free parking in the covered garage. This is what we call a «gooey» and they are world famous for a reason. We ordered their«Coeur D’Alene Anniversary Gooey» with cake batter ice cream, chunks of brownies and blondies, strawberry, hot fudge and huckleberry sauces, huckleberry white chocolate bark, chopped nuts and a jumbo chocolate dipped strawberry on top. Every bite was different and unique to the last. Their peanut butter cup«gooey» was calling my name but life is about compromise. so now we have to come back for more. They have a dirt & worms dessert that kids go crazy for, too. The food was fantastic, but the dessert is such a spectacle(not to mention incredibly filling). I think next time we will come to Dockside just for a gooey. We could only take a couple bites before we were full so it is definitely enough for a big group to share. You can’t quite tell… but this gooey is gigantic. Let’s just say we waddled out of there and will be hiking all day tomorrow to work it off.

DONOTEATHERE!!! Unless you want to eat the lowest grade Sysco food and pay high end prices. I was blown away that I paid 14 dollars for a very lifted retirement home style salad bar and over microwaved cup of clam chowder. WHOEVERISRUNNINGTHISPLACEIS A PENNYPINCHINGJACKASS. honestly should have just left without ordering, the only thing that kept me there was that it was the only place in that weird town that was still serving food at 9 o’clock.

I’ve been to this place several times for their signature Gooeys. Every time they have been wonderful except tonight. My husband and I both ordered a personal size gooey and both received them. My husbands ice cream was half melted and the cup was luke warm and mine which I had requested without whipped cream, had leftover whipped cream on it(seems like they forgot that I simply ordered mine without whipped cream) and half of my ice cream was also melted and the cup was luke warm. We politely asked the servers if they could remake them and he said sure, 5 – 10 min rolled around and they brought us our gooeys again. Again, the cups were luke warm and our ice cream was already half melted but we ate them anyways this time… Disappointed in this visit.

Bright the family here for desert. The prices are high however; the proportions are HUGE. One gooey can be split for 4. Everything looked good coming out of the kitchen. We got the gooey and it did not disappoint. The view of the lake is amazing as well.

Came for breakfast and it was decent. Small portions and the service is just okay. Not once was my water filled and our waitress never came by to ask us throughout our meal if we needed anything.

We’re in town for a few days and I had searched Unilocal for dining options. I’m so glad I bookmarked Dockside. The restaurant is in a nice hotel right on the lake. The exterior is beautiful with vivid geraniums and view of the marina. We were seated immediately and chose a both with a view of the lake. Our server, Luke, I believe, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He was also honest about the selections, like what he liked more than others. The menu has so many good options. Trout, salmon, seafood, steaks to burgers. I took Luke’s recommendation and had the pot roast. This ain’t my momma’s roast. It was so moist and tender. Delicious. The dinners include their salad bar which included toppings like real, large pieces of bacon and pecans. Did I say bacon? Oh hells, yes! My family had the red trout and steak. Everyone was very happy. The highlight of Dockside is their dessert menu. This is what they’re known for. We were too full so took ours to go. The German chocolate was outstanding. Great service, beautiful location, wonderful food. It’s a great choice. Take a look at my pics of the sunset.

This place is wonderful. Who ever selects the staff is very good. No snotty nose burger flipping don’t want to work entitled perps here. Very professional I assume to cater to the upscale hotel clients. We came pretty casual since we were tourist. Two of us had a meal with the salad bar and two had meals without. The salad bar was fantastic with everything fresh. They have some special dressings. I had the pot roast and my guest had the appetizer crab cakes. The view was perfect over the boats and the lake. Thanks for a fun time.

Olivia was our server during our visit. We had the grass fed beef burger wrapped in thick slices of ice burg lettuce topped with avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese. Burger was cooked perfectly! Service was excellent and Olivia was very attentive. The burger came with a small side salad of fresh mixed greens. Perfect combination of you ask me as fries would ruin the taste of this delicious all natural beef burger. It’s difficult to find a great burger and this is the place to go if you want one that is grass fed beef. The view from the table we sat at was the coeur d’ Alene lake. Beautiful view of the boats on the lake and the sun setting while enjoying a awesome burger!

I’m mad that I hadn’t discovered Dockside until this summer because I have truly been missing out. It is ideal for a family gathering, and that is what finally, fatefully, brought me there. Dockside is located on the lobby level of The Coeur d’Alene Resort at the water’s edge. Views for days! As we stumbled in on a Sunday late morning(after an ill advised«nature hike») we noticed a massive and delicious looking buffet in an adjoining room and a case filled with desserts. I’m definitely coming back for you soon, desserts, but today I had more serious sustenance on my mind. I had just done a «nature hike» after all(good thing Dockside is casual because we were a little rough around the edges from our adventure). Immediately I noticed the adorable matching outfits on the wait staff. They were really just so cute. I also noticed the hyper legit salad bar. It had a nice selection of pasta salads within the salad bar that looked like they would be $ 14.99 a pound. So, of course I added a trip to the salad bar on with my burger and fries order. It was one of those yummy local bacon situations that exceeded my expectations. Our group of over 20 was seated in a private dining room and everyone from Baby Boy to Grandmother the Great was smiling. Cheers, Dockside!

Very good food with a great view. Service is good, dinner selection could a little more expansive but all in all a good selection. Nice organic salad bar. All food came out good and family had a nice time.

Great place inside the Coeur D Alene Resort. Not expensive and all the food is delicious. The location right on the water can’t be beat, nothing but beautiful lake views form every table and booth. The wife and I always order and enjoy the Deep Six, a 64oz cocktail that hits the spot. And the Gooey deserts are ridiculously good, six of us share one of them, they are huge and only $ 10. Every summer we come up to visit we always come here for lunch at least twice, and the kids really enjoy it as well.

Fantastic lake view; open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; pretty reasonable prices, considering the location. Friendly service. Breakfast buffet had good selection for about $ 15/adults; $ 8 kids — eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, French toast, pancakes, eggs, fruit, cereal, etc. I had the red trout w/eggs, and it was good, but too heavy/greasy. The spinach, feta omelet w/asparagus was really good. Desserts looked great, too.

Came here for dessert with my friends late on Sunday night. Their dessert options are incredible and definitely shareable! I recommend the huckleberry shake, huckleberry cobbler, and any of their gooeys, their signature ice cream sundae. Beautiful views of the lake and plenty of seating!

I was only in Coeur D’Alene for a few hours, and stopped by here to get brunch. We chose not to get the buffet, simply because we weren’t ready to fork up $ 30. I got the bagel and lox, and the smoked salmon was delicious! My boyfriend got some type of omlete with sausage and ham. Both were good, but I think mine was better. The service was average. $ 2 mimosas for brunch on Sundays is nice! And the view is certainly nothing to complain about either.
