I love these colorful whimsical tumblers/mugs, that are useful for many purposes/ages/gifts. I’ve bought, given and used the tumblers, straws, lids, handles, water bottles, and mugs. They are a durable product with a great warranty, however, someone at Tervis made a poor decision that the stores will no longer accept returns and that the returns must be mailed to the factory for replacement of defective product. That defeats the very good customer service that I had previously experienced. If the cup/mug/water bottle costs between $ 13.00 and $ 25.00, and there is a fault in the product, you must now spend the time, effort, and mailing expense to return and wait for the«re-product», which negates the good warranty and customer service. I had wished they would accept returns at the store. In the past, when in the North, I have returned product to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, they have graciously replaced defective Tervis products, which I am grateful for.

Let me start by saying that I LOVE the Tervis tumbler glasses and own over 50 of them. I search them out on trips as a keepsake as well. This is not a review on the product but the company. I was requested to provide a review on the customizable tervis’ I bought via internet. I submitted what is down below and got a note back from Tervis stating that my review was«rejected», because it didn’t «met their guidelines». The product consists of the«product» and the«company» and if the company does not provide good customer service, then the product as well deserves a lower rating, they are one in the same. Being a professional, I know customer service and«tweaking» ratings represent a company that is dishonest… regardless of the quality of the product. At some time, you will have to deal with the«Company» and to know that they are«padding» their reviews on their site is truly appauling!!! Beware of their practices, regardless of how much I love their glasses, I will, going forward think differently of the«fun company» they represent. Dishonest is the only word that I can think of that truly represents their handling of reviews. If the product was not shipped correctly, acknowledge it outright to others in a response to the review as Managers must do on sites such as Tripadvisor to let your customer base know that you can make mistakes and correct them. Don’t be dishonestly calculated in your business practices. You will lose those loyal customers as myself. Read below to the see the response from Tervis… Hey they even gave me an opportunity to write a «better review» for them! We have read your review and value your contribution even though it did not meet all of our website guidelines. Thank you for sharing, we hope that you will continue to offer your feedback! Submit something new Cheers! Tervis great tumbler, not so great execution to get it I purchased 4 customizable Tervis’ tumblers. The idea is great and the perfect gift for a person who loves Tervis. HOWEVER, I can only rate this a 3 because the product came without parts of it, and it took 3 times to get it straight(and I missed sending out the birthday present in time. Thank Goodness I didn’t send it directly to them, I would have never known the lids were never put in). Never had so much trouble with an internet order than this time and Tervis would not have given me a credit would I not have demanded it. If asked would I do this again, only if I did over a month prior to when, if a gift, it needed to be there, as I do not trust their packing department.

We got totally ripped off at the Tervis Store at Mall of America in Bloominton MN. We bought 10 mugs and neither of the two sales clerks told us that if we bought 4 mugs the same size and price that the lids were free until we were at the counter checking out. We would of probably picked out different mugs had we known that, instead we were charged $ 4 extra for each lid. Then when we went down to the Hallmark Store a couple of doors down, the Tervis mugs were cheaper and the price included lids. Feeling totally ripped off.

I’ve been on a lifelong quest for the perfect cup. Most are too small for the quantity of liquids I consume. They sweat when filled with cold drinks. Warm drinks quickly get tepid. They’re ugly. Glass ones break. Plastic ones crack. Good God, why is it so HARD?! All in all, it’s a tough world out there for a girl who just wants to get her drink on. Thank GOD for Tervis. Tervis was the answer to my years of aimless, fruitless searching. Starbucks disappointed me. Target let me down. Walmart was laughable. But here, you can find a pretty, sweat-proof, durable tumbler that’ll keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot and make you sooooooo happy with every imaginable sports team, animal, design, logo or random image adorning it. And you can customize them with your initials, a quote, a patch or whatever the hell you’re into. Plus you can procure colorful lids, reusable straws, handles and all kinds of Tervis trinkets. Was my search for the ideal container a first world problem? Yes, but let’s thank our lucky stars for first world solutions. :) Sorry Patrick L, I couldn’t disagree more. Tervis is everything I ever wanted in a lifetime partner made of plastic.

One could be forgiven for thinking this looks like a smoothie shop. It just has that«I sell fruity frozen treats» look about it. But it’s not. Walk in here, check it out, and get ready to have your incredulity strained. It sells… plastic cups. Yes, you read that correctly. I know, these are supposed to be Super Awesome Plastic Cups that keep cold liquids cool, and hot liquids warm. I don’t care. They’re lame. I don’t need a cup with a university logo on it, nor do I need a personalized tumbler. I could see them making a nice addition to a trash heap somewhere; that’s about it. Nor do I care that these cups are made in America, which seems to be one of their selling points. Come on people, crap is crap, whether it’s manufactured in America, China, Malaysia, or Mexico. There’s also the issue of wasting prime Coconut Grove retail space on tacky plastic cups. We all know that the Grove’s central business district needs some help. The idea of «The Grove» has been on a long, painful decline for decades. What it needs are funky, hip emporiums. Wine bars. Bakeries. Small chef-driven bistros. The Grove needs to take a road trip to check out Winter Park, FL, and then emulate it. But, none of this is ever going to happen, if we continue to insist upon trying to sell garbage to tourists whose Big Miami Photo Op is «standing in front of the Cocowalk fountain.» It’s sad. We’re better than this.

This is a very unique store that sells something dear to my heart, Tumblers! They sell all kinds of tumbler cups here: regular size, small kids sizes, gym bottles(tumbler style) and they have them for any occasion or for any particular person. They have cups from your favorite sports team, university, profession… whatever! They have all sorts of designs. It seems like the perfect gift you don’t have to put too much effort in and the person receiving will definitely love it. I could be wrong, but I doubt it! Have a nice day! :^)
