Excellent customer service! Each class is geared towards the students current skill level and aim to make them better every time. It is a great family atmosphere and they are always welcoming of parents being involved with the events of school. My daughter has improved dramatically in dance and is hooked on this place. And as a parent making her smile through positivity is the most important thing for us. So lucky to have found this place!

My daughter has been dancing at CGB for over 7 years. They have always been amazing at keeping her best interest at heart and making dancing a wonderful experience. We love CGB, they are part of our family.

I love this place! My niece has been attending this school since she was only 2yrs old. Excellent ABT Curriculum. Amazing teachers. Such a peaceful and artistic environment for children to discover their inner ballerina.

I have been attending Coconut Grove Ballet’s end of year performance and Nutcracker performance for over four years now. As a former dancer myself, I can attest that its quite an admirable feat to have performers that range from young children to teens to adults and still be able to create a cohesive and enjoyable show. Time after time they’ve managed to do just that. I was especially impressed by the dance pieces that were able to incorporate a range of ages in the performers. Its wonderful for the little ones to be able to learn and look up to the older dancers and its also great for the older dancers to feel a sense of accomplishment and pride by becoming mentors and role models.
Something that also makes Coconut Grove Ballet stand apart from other dance studios (especially now in the age of crazy «Dance Moms» TV shows) is how family oriented it is. Its lovely to see the dancers who have been there for years really grow and evolve in their grace and skills. It is obvious through any interactions you have with the dancers, that this is more than just an after-​school activity for them.
Although, I no longer dance, my ten years as a dancer in a multitude of styles, fostered in me discipline, leadership, accountability, creativity and appreciation of the arts, and a true sense of self-​worth. I attribute my successes at the high school, university, and workplace level to having a foundation in dance.

Not for kids! — Summer show was a disaster; had to be there on a Sunday from 9 to 10:30 am for dress rehearsal, then drop off my 4 yr old at 2:30 pm, and was only allowed to pick her up at 6:30 pm; my daughter only danced for 3 minutes; so dis-​considerate with the kids; completely selfish of the staff to plan a 3 hours long show with 40 dances and not allow parents to pick up the little ones earlier; when I picked up my daughter she was tired, hungry and scared. Completely unfair!

Great place to learn the basics or to get back on track; after years without practicing, they’ve truly helped me. The best part is that they really pay attention to your needs and individual challenges. Love it

I’ve been dancing at this studio for over two years and would never go anywhere else. The instructors are incredible and it is clear they genuinely love what they do with the time they put toward each student. I highly recommend bringing your child or yourself to classes here! The staff is also extremely friendly, helpful, compassionate and flexible.

The teachers were nice but when my daughter injured her foot and couldn’t attend class, they would not refund our monthly fee — even though she could not attend a single class that month. Not acceptable. Will never go back.
