I went on Friday night for a special event and loved the atmosphere, music was enjoyable + the crowd was excellent!

Went back here a few Fridays ago for the revamping of the Mayfair rooftop. It was pretty good for happy hour. There were reasonably priced drinks, there was a DJ and it was a beautiful night. The number 1 thing this place has going for it is the view. Secondly, I love that they have a pool; it’s nice to look at. I could stay up here all day, but I can’t stand the hotel guests jumping in the pool at happy hour time and making a mess. Therefore, it’s my suggestion that they close down the pool after 5:30 or 6PM to lessen the mess. Otherwise, it’s exceptional!

I have to say that I have been to many many clubs and lounges in the entire South Florida area and the biggest disappointment I had was coming here. I had heard people talking about this cool place that opened up and immediately got on a list. What a waste of time… I had my doubts since it was in Coral Gables but I thought ‘what the hell… I’ve had a great time here many times before’. When we passed the very thorough examination at the downstairs entrance we went up to a completely empty area. When we got there it was about midnight so there should have been a decent turn out by then. We waited around, danced amongst ourselves, but by two a.m. there was barely anyone there and people were beginning t o leave. But, I didnt let that one bad experience ruin my opinion of Cabana One, I went one more time a few weeks later. A friend of mine was having her birthday party there and had rented a Cabana. Once again there was a sparse crowd. Later in the night some dudes got into a fight and got thrown out and some girl drank too much and threw up all over the VIP couches. Needless to say I wont be back there. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Cute little place. Arriving on a Saturday night at about 10 the crowd was small but by no means dead. Everyone seemed to just be chillin with their own little clicks. The atmosphere is laid back and might I say … relaxing. Yeah… Anyway, I would have appreciated some live music but oh well. Maybe next time. On our way out the hostess mentioned their Friday happy hour. Yet another good reason to come back.

Its free to get in, that should be enough for a 5 star in Miami. Roof top bar in the middle of the grove. Pricey drinks but typical for the type of atmosphere. Over all the music is good, the crowd starts to arrive around 10pm. Recently they started doing 2 hours of open bar for 20 bucks. Not sure if its on Friday or Thursday. Give them a call. Bottom line: Happening place, free entrance and open bar = 5 star in my book.

Although this place hasn’t received glamorous reviews, I think that the location, setting and overall mood of the place work well and lends itself to groups. I’d be the first to agree to enjoying a libation at this establishment for sure.

Came here for a farewell party last night. Pretty chill, fun & varied music — they had heaters around the VIP cabanas, which came in great on such a chilly night. It was a nice crowd too. No overly-testosteroned guys, everyone respectful, girls were decent too. There was a time during the night when it was a little packed and you touched people as you walked through, then it emptied out a bit. I think it’s the type of place where people go to meet up, then take off and go somewhere else. It’s free to get in. Drinks were normal price for Miami. & the bouncers/security were actually friendly. Go. Have fun. Enjoy!

Cool spot on a rooftop right around the corner from the heart of Coconut Grove. I’ve only been during the day, so I can’t speak for the scene it attracts at night. But they seem to have a few drink specials on Sundays, and large screen t.v.‘s to watch some sports. It’s a little bit of S. Beach, kind of like the Town House; but in Coconut Grove. I’ll definitely check it out again if I’m in the Grove and bored with whats going on street level.

Spent some time there on Sunday watching the Dolphins/Jets game and it was cool. The televisions seemed to be off as one was always about 30 seconds ahead so maybe not the ideal for watching the games. Of course you could always spring the $ 250 for a cabana of your own. I know many of us there thought that was a bit too much for a cabana so we’ll see how that goes. I was a little upset by the last minute change in prices for the drink specials and they could use the space better but over all not bad at all. This place has a lot of potential and could be a nice laid back weekend retreat.

3.5 Went back on a Saturday night. Showed up about 1am. The crowd was different… There was a wedding party there living it up, and the groom was assisted out by his friends. The cabanas were being put to use and a few of them had parties with bottles… The truth is, wasn’t really feeling the crowd last night. The DJ was doing a good job, but upon analyzation, they have his DJ booth away from the action. They should put the DJ set up near the fireplace, where all the action is. The DJ should interact more with the crowd. It definitely helps. And a last suggestion, perhaps better mood lighting. If they had the pool lit up in purple or blue, and maybe little colored lights around the bottom of the cabanas and leading to the fire pit… Would give the lounge more ambiance. Still had a good time and did enjoy myself. Ran into some old friends that had a cabana and enjoyed the Cabana One experience.

I attended the invitation-only grand opening event so I only know what this place is like when all the cabanas are open and the drinks are free. This place promises to be an elegant roof top alternative to the college-themed watering holes in the grove. Cabana One has a nice compact design — eight cabanas lined along a small pool. There is a unique fire pit at the end overlooking the Grove that promises to be a great place to lounge with friends. The promotions promise a weekly pool party on Sundays. Bottomline: It’s like a miniature Delano Pool scene on top of the Grove.
