Food’s delicious. Under new management by the nearby restaurant Ethos. Service has improved drastically. I will be adding this to my list of regulars.

We arrived at 320pm and missed the lunch menu. I really wanted to try the meatball sliders,(I wouldn’t have mind paying an upcharge, it wasn’t on the dinner menu). The manager could not accommodate us for the lunch menu and chef couldn’t accommodate the request of the sliders, I was kinda bummed, but in the end the staff was friendly enough and attentive. A pleasant experience. I ordered a meatball appetizer, the wedding soup, and Parmesan fries. The table ordered the full meals, incl. chicken parm, rigatoni ala vodka, and chicken scarp. We got the antipasti platter for the the table. I really enjoyed this, I am a huge fan of cured meats and cheese platters, so it was a great choice for a group of 5. Three meats, three cheeses, olives, tomatoes, arugula and peppers was perfection. The wedding soup broth was not over seasoned and meatballs a little overdone, but I ate it all. The meatball appetizer is served with cold ricotta and sauced, on the dry side, ok. Parmesan fries were great, the potatoes were surprisingly super light and airy, crispy and coated with delicious seasoning. I got to taste the Ala vodka and chicken parm. They were both exactly what I expected. Fresh homemade pasta. the tomato sauce a bit in the sweet side, in the chicken patm dinner, but we throughly enjoyed the meal. I would return again if in Coconut Creek.

Food: App. Fried calamari. It was served hot and it was very crunchy. We really enjoyed it. The marinara sauce was not to heavy but flavorful enough. Dinner: I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the Lavia chicken salad. The salad was fresh and well seasoned. The scampi was perfect. Service: Al, our server was very attentive and made sure we had a good dining experience. We also had managers check on us all the time, so everyone was very nice and professional.

It’s not the best Italian restaurant I’ve been too but it’s not the worst. Salsiccia– Italian pork sausage over peppers and onions. If you like sausage, peppers and onions you have to try this dish. I would of ordered for my main meal if it wasn’t a appetizer. Veal Parmesan — It was okay, came with a side of pasta Italian pizza — Wood fire pizza with pepperoni, salami, prosciutto, meatballs and mozzarella cheese. My husband lived in Italy for three years so he knows Italian pizza. He said the meats were good but it wasn’t a true Italian pizza. The crust was a little too crispy. After dinner we got the gelato that had chocolate chips in the bottom and it came with an espresso shot that you pour into the gelato and drink it. I really loved the combo together. There’s so many great Italian restaurants around, we probably won’t come back to this one. But it wasn’t bad.

I usually only Unilocal to complain, however Im taking time to Unilocal about a great place. I believe this restaurant is under new ownership and its the same people who run Ethos next door. if you know Ethos, you know everything is Always perfect. It looks like the same people are doing the same thing here as well. I went here on a Sunday with people from out of town and everything was excellent, food, staff, atmosphere everything. Would highly recommend.

Sal and Faith did it again, creating an authentic Italian experience in Coconut Creek. It’s an open atmosphere with their brick oven stove sending mouthwatering aromas throughout. We had the chicken parm, calamari, and their rosemary chicken dish all of which were very good! A little too expensive but the food supports a nice treat now and then.

I was really in the mood for ITALIAN last night and was lucky to found a nice place in the promenade for my craving! The four star rating goes to the staff. Family owned and friendly service is the highlight of this review! We first were greeted by the owner, which is always a nice surprise! She truly convinced us to have our dinner here! Our waiter Derek was so friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu! Definitely ask for him if you go! The rest of the wait staff was equally accommodating and pleasant Now for the food! Bread and butter is my weakness! There is something about salted creamy butter that puts you in a good mood lol! The calamari seafood appetizer was perfectly breaded but the marinara sauce was ok for my taste. I got the bolognese for my meal and my husband got the veal. He alway picks great dishes. Thus, his meal was perfection. My pasta dish was ok. The meat sauce was good but not anything spectacular. The veal and his risotto was wonderfully cooked. Next time I come, I will get the spaghetti and meatballs! Atmosphere reminded me more of Greece than Italy because of the blue and white décor. It was very inviting, but kind of confusing if they makes sense Overall, I would recommend this place for Italian food when you’re in the area. Cheers to the staff for being amazingly sweet and pleasant!

My husband and I went for dinner last night and was really surprised at how good the food was. We ordered the arincini and a side Caesar salad to start, the arincini was cold in the middle but our waitress took it away and brought a new one that was piping hot and they even took the appetizer off our bill. For dinner we had their specials, Zuppe de peasce and red snapper franchaise, both were amazing and they even make their pasta from scratch. We will definitely being going back!!!

Had some pizza and beer here. It was ok, nothing stood out to me. The ambiance was alright, I sat outside and one of the play off games was on but the TV we were at had some weird furniture loop on there. The service was ok, I guess I could have asked for them to switch the channel but I didn’t, no big deal. Food quality: Meh… for pizza, I’ve had better. Beer is beer. Went to WOB right after though.

I was pleasantly surprised about this new place. On a Thursday before Valentine’s Day, this place was pretty empty considering the decent crowd at the promenade. It’s a nice place — very pretty interior with lots of tables and a giant bar area. Service was great and the staff was attentive. Thursdays are ladies night which meant my wine was half off(or in my book, buy one get one ;))and that was a nice treat. The food came out pretty quickly and very hot. The garlic loaf is amazing! Their bread comes fresh out of the oven and is the best bread I’ve had here. I love it. We were able to hold on to some for our pasta(which came out pretty shortly after we got the bread) and dip into some of the sauce, which was a nice treat. We both ordered pasta dishes — I got the penne bolognese and my husband got the strozzapretti alla vodka. Both were very good and large portions — we had enough to bring home for a second meal. The sauces were both very flavorful and very different, as they should be. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back — it’s a nice place with pretty great Italian dishes.

Tried LaVia last night after seeing it while visiting another restaurant in the Promenade last weekend. We also got a 10% off coupon so we figured to give it a shot. It was a beautiful evening so we took a table outside. They were quite busy but there wasn’t a wait. Unfortunately they seem to have some serious issues with service yet to work out. We sat at our table a solid 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order. The server took our drink order but refused to write it down and, of course, got it wrong.(I don’t understand what the deal is with servers expecting to be able to remember what you order — as a patron I would much prefer my order being right than worrying about them using a pad and pen). Then he brought out our correct drinks and asked if we were ready to order. We weren’t and then he disappeared never to return again. We flagged down the hostess who got us another server who was MUCH better. He wrote our order down and got it right albeit taking about 45 minutes for our entrée to come out.(The kitchen lost our ticket?) The hostess(who I believe was also the owner) was extremely apologetic and the server as well. We weren’t really that upset as it was a beautiful evening and weren’t in a rush but it was a miss for sure in the service department. The food was good. I have a couple of complaints: We ordered mozzarella en carozza which I know as mozzarella in between two slices of bread, dipped in egg and deep fried served with sauce. What we got was two triangles of fried mozzarella. And it was topped with bruschetta tomatoes. It should just be called fried mozzarella. Then I had a side order of penne in tomato sauce with their fritto misto appetizer. This was really good and I was pleasantly surprised to see the pasta was homemade. Hubby had a veal dish which was in a Marsala glaze served with risotto which he enjoyed. They brought us out a tiramisu on the house which was very delicious. A couple of other notes — apparently they have a pasta room on display where they make all of their home made pasta. Had this been noted on the menu(that all of their pasta is homemade), I probably would’ve ordered a pasta entrée. We asked for water a couple of times before we got any. And we waited quite a while in between rounds of drinks — they certainly missed out on another round or two in revenue. All in all, the food was good and the hostesses were SO sweet as was our second server. I think if they work out their service kinks, they will be successful as the food was good and the food prices reasonable. I will be back…

Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere! I’ve been here several times now, sometimes with my young son and sometimes with adults only… Each time we’ve had a great time. The food is delicious and has a great presentation and the lounge area is super fun! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice time and great food.

I stopped in here to place an order to go while drinking across the street at WOB. The hostess was great and showed me to the bar to place my order, but then it became clear that I was going to have to wait for it, and they wouldn’t bring it across the street to me(like most other businesses do for patrons at WOB) and I started to get a bit annoyed. All annoyed-ness aside the food did some out rather quickly — 2 pizzas which come in a personal size of about 11″ and one fritto misto containing calamari, shrimp and mushrooms. The bartender did do a great job of chatting me up and keeping me company so at least that made the time pass by quickly as well. Once back at WOB I was slightly annoyed that they hadn’t included any plastic utensils or napkins with my order. I realize this place probably doesn’t do a lot of to-go orders, but they should be used to getting patrons from WOB by now… literally they are across the street and seemingly the only place in the plaza with pizza. And although I may not wholeheartedly agree, it does seem like a lot of people thing pizza + beer is heaven. So to the food. The fritto misto was pretty good, and the portion size was nice. The pizzas though weren’t amazing to me. Granted my taste in pizza is a little«off» according to some lol but neither the plain cheese, or the chef’s pizza with prosciutto were anything special, and the dough itself was pretty below average. Would I order from here again? Nope… I’d stick to the usual sushi spot I get take out from when at WOB! However, I must say, for dining in the place looked very nice. Clean and modern with all the wow factor perfect for this area.

I would rate this place about 3.5 stars. I had eggplant parmesan with a friend. It was the best eggplant parmesan I ever had. It was creamy and the homemade pasta and tomato sauce was delicious. Based off that dish I would have rated the restaurant 5 stars. We did not have the best dessert experience though. We ordered the molten lava cake(has a different name) and it came out over cooked(no lava). We showed our server and he took the cakes back to the kitchen and told us he would have another made. It took quite a while for the second round of cake to come out. I would say about a half an hour. Due to the wait the dessert was compliments of the chef. After the cake came out I was not too impressed. While it was cooked properly this time, it did have a lot of flavor. Overall the service was good and the main dish was excellent. I will go back again. I just would not order the dessert again. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The restaurant has a nice design and I like that all the food is authentic Italian.

My family and I have eaten here several times since they opened a couple of months ago. I have to say the food is consistently good and priced moderately. They make all the pasta they serve and it has a nice welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend give it a try very affordable price point.

Walking around the promanad looking for some post dinner drinks, saw a new place and hurried over to grab a spot on the sofa and get some wine! Waited for easily 15 mins(long enough for my entire party to make bathroom runs) and the only acknowledgement we received was from the bartender who gave us menus. We were completely ignored by the waiter who was meandering around where we were sitting! Don’t plan on ever going back!
