Don Frederick Salon

Overall nice salon. I came to Don Frederick’s when my nail tech Ashley moved here and I’ve started getting other services there as well.
Ashley is a my go-​to nail tech and I have been a client of hers for around 7 years. She does an amazing job.
Maria is the esthetician and she does great threading. I get compliments all the time on my eyebrows.
Danielle cut and colors my hair and she’s great too. She was recommended to me when I was in the market for a new hairdresser and everything has been very good.
They accept credit/​debit cards but there is a $ 2 surcharge so bring cash or check if you want to avoid the fee. This is one thing that can be a pain sometimes if I’m running late, but at least they do offer the option if I ever forget cash/​check.
Located in the Publix shopping plaza on the corner of 441 and Holmberg/​Johnson, 2 stores south of Publix.

I was looking for a new place close by that was good, so I found this salon today and I am SO HAPPY! Evelyn washed my hair like it is suppose to be washed, a very good deep wash, my hair felt so clean when she was done. She took her time and did an amazing job!!! Then Daniel blew out my hair, PERFECT!!! She knew exactly what I wanted! Can’t wait to go back and do my color!!!

Had a very bad experience getting a haircut and a color, the hairdresser was not very accommodating to my wants. The receptionist was very nasty and not helpful. Every time I went I had to wait at least 15 minutes for the hairdresser. The only thing I liked about the salon was how they threaded my eyebrows, Maria always did a wonderful job. Sad to say I won’t be going back.

This is the best place to go if you want a hometown feel salon who cares about pleasing you! I have been going here for three years and have never been disappointed! Everything is reasonably priced and you always feel you get your monies worth in service! All the stylists are excellent!
