Total gem in a part of the state that really needs one. Highly recommended. They are a coffee shop primarily that also has brekkie/brunch food options-not pre-made either. We ordered espresso and tea-based lattes and breakfast sandwiches. I had the sausage egg cheese on croissant and better half had same with bacon on English muffin. Hot and crispy. Plenty of seating areas and games, books, and even a toy corner for the kids. See pics.

It’s another little gem and it’s hidden in PSJ. It’s a cozy café’ with class. They way it should be. Actually, it reminds me of The Main Street Café’ in Cheshire, Ct, that I used to frequent and love. A great alternative to your d&d, 7 – 11, or wherever«gas station» that you grab your cup o’Joe. I believe there is wi-fi available and bigger would be better! Best of Luck

Rachel our server was very pleasant. The iced chi tea and the spinach feta cheese cressant was worth the side trip. Locared conviently in a cute little shopping center on Fay Blvd one light from the famous Grissom Parway. The café was pleasantly decorated and clean. Good food and good service and kid friendly. If in the area it’s a great place to visit. Off stree parking and plenty of it. And remember they open at 5:30AM. Great little pastry shop, reasonable prices and fantastic service. And bring the kids or the grand kids. Rachel our server was very pleasant. The iced chi tea and the spinach feta cheese cressant was worth the side trip. With a couple hours to kill and the overwhelming desire to skip my hotel’s crappy breakfast, I headed to Port St. John for my coffee fix. The location is very easy to find(google maps got me right into the little strip mall with no issues). The décor in here is cute, very cozy. It’s clear this place is a popular stop, while I was there I heard a lot of conversations with people who were clearly regulars. They have a good number of food and breakfast options without having way too many. I went with a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich and a small iced mocha with almond milk. I paid just under $ 9, less than I’d pay at Starbucks for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The mocha was good, not super sweet but not bitter either. The sandwich was pressed in a panini press, which made the cheese perfectly melty. The staff was super friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great.

Port St John has been missing a spot like this for a long time– a quaint, locally-owned café with reasonable prices, wonderful services, and a cozy atmosphere. The few times I’ve been in, the ladies working greeted me like friends and chatted with me after I ordered. I had a great conversation there today with one of the baristas who really impressed me with her enthusiasm for coffee and providing great service. She seemed knowledgeable and driven, and the drink she made me was amazing! My breakfast sandwich(sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant) was very tasty(though a little heavy on the cheese). They’ve expanded the shop since the last time I went in and the new space makes it a great place to go if you wanted to get some work done in a quiet, comfortable environment, or if you needed to hold a meeting for a club or business. I love that I can give my business to this place over the Dunkin Donuts down the street from PSJ.

I was visiting family in the area and found this café on Unilocal.I read a few reviews from happy customers and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad that I did… THERESTAURANT Port St Java(PSJ) is a cozy café with eclectic trinkets and wall décor. A couch and cushioned chairs offers a relaxed environment that is perfect for meeting a friend for tea or enjoying a latte with the morning paper. Tables(~10) are available, too, which makes PSJ an excellent dining choice. A small bar area with a few stools seems to be a nice coffee social area. I had the opportunity to peek into the back kitchen area and noticed that the employees appropriately wore gloves and the area seemed clean and organized. THEFOOD PSJ sells lattes, frappes, Cuban coffee, smoothies, teas, wraps, soups, paninis, bagels, brownies, chips, candy, & cute coffee cup coozies. There seems to be something for everyone at this little place. I noticed that coconut palm sugar was available which seems to be a nice option for vegans. THESERVICE Every person in this café was pleasant and happy to help. They were conversational, kind, and morale in general seemed to be high. The friendly staff completely sold me on this location. I enjoyed breakfast and decided to go back a few hours later! I ordered an everything bagel with a mocha latte this morning and later ordered a turkey cheddar wrap. Everything was delicious! I will be back! Thank you, PSJ for offering a Unilocal deal — That was a nice surprise!

We absolutely LOVE Port St. Java. Everything from the location, to the coziness if the shop, to the prices, to the people that work there… just wonderful! I can’t come up with a negative thing to say even if I wanted to. They always go out of their way to welcome you to the shop, they make you feel important, and they do their best to remember you next time you visit. I would choose PSJava over Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts any day!

Diamond in the rough! We didnt make coffee this morning before rushing out of the house and we thought we’d get some from a new local coffee place, «Port St Java» on our way out of the neighborhood. We were both pleasantly surprised! The décor was delightful, the furniture was contemporary and comfortable, and the service was warm, friendly and efficient! I was not expecting much but what i found was an amazing local café with a great variety, ambiance, and service! Great job Port Saint Java! Glad to have you in our humble community!

Very rarely do I enter a place and just become smitten from the ambiance alone — Port St. Java is one of those rare places. But ambiance alone doesn’t make a place good or even serviceable. There needs to be good food, good service, and then to make things even better there has to be something else, an intangible — as in saying the place has«It». This place has all that *and* «It». This little place is beautifully decorated and furnished in a warm and homey manner. The kind of place you can just sit in for hours comfortably. Their food tastes homemade, it’s made to order and made from scratch. There are numerous drinks to choose from. You can go with flavored teas, frapuccinos, expressos, smoothies, shakes, and it goes on. What you won’t find is a soft drink — good for them. The staff is friendly and the owner is a very personable gal who takes the time to talk to her customers… truly a lost art. I’m simply surprised a place like this exists in the sleepy little Hamlet of PSJ. I’ll definitely be frequenting our little gem of a place that’s got«It.»

Love this place. The owners and staff are SO friendly. I’ve gone 3 times in one week. Had the chai latte, java chip frappé, regular coffee, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was awesome. They have muffins and cinnamon rolls along with lots of other yummy stuff. I definitely recommend Port St Java. No more DD or Starbucks for me :) I wish this new and flourishing company the absolute best. You have my business for sure.

The sausage egg and cheese bagel on an everything is so good! My husband ordered the white chocolate mocha and I got a chai latte. Everything was amazing! The ambiance was relaxing and perfect for a coffee shop type feel. We will definitely be regular customers since it is on my way to work!
