I will definitely return! Shrimp and pork Spring Rolls were perfect! Grilled pork with egg roll and rice noodles were exactly what I wanted. The noodles and pork were hot with chilled cucumber, carrot, and bean sprouts. Perfect Vietnamese combination of hot and cold. Very fresh ingredients! I can’t wait to come back and try other menu items!

If you like Viet foods, please check this place out! First of all, such a cute restaurant! Kinda romantic in a way and SECONDLY, I am visiting Orlando from Houston!(yes, Houston! I know Viet foods) I never intended to eat Asian food in Orlando however we were on our way to Merritt island to swim with Dolphins and we were short on time. This was what we found on Unilocal so we have it a try! I had the banh mi dac biet and to be honest, I was so surprised how delicious it is! Even if you compare that banh mi to the most famous banh mi place in Houston, it is pretty close up there. (However the bread itself is more like American bread, a little softer and the didn’t toast it– but I am sure we can ask for it to be toasted if you like your banh mi crunchy) The cashier/owner’s son(my guess) was very helpful and friendly. Gave us sample on all the tea and drinks. We got the coconut milk tea. It was decent. While waiting for our banh mi, we saw all the dishes that were brought out. Everything was very appetizing!!! We wished we had more time to try!

Only reason 4 stars is ambiance and desperate need for updated seating :) Wonton soup is amazing! Caramelized beef was amazing. I’m not much into citrus flavor, but it was very good nonetheless. The tea was good. Awesome food overall. Food took a little while to get but portions and taste me than makes up for wait.

Excellent quality in food. Fast and well prepared. Staff is super delightful and charming. Only down side is their small selection. The place is nice a cozy and very clean compared to most local family restaurants. Definitely a must try if your in the area. Tried thr ban-mhi, and BBQ beef in noodle bowl, sooo good! Just like back in DC!

Mamasan’s has THEBEST chicken wonton soup you will ever eat. You can taste the love that went into making it for you. And, there are some delicious caramelized shallots that make the broth even more delicious. I got a small chicken wonton soup and it was huge. You will eat this and never be able to go anywhere else for wonton soup and be happy. Be happy with your food!

Went here last week with my dad, who has become an evangelist for this place. I tried their beef noodle dish(sadly I can’t remember what it’s called) and it was really delicious! Not that spicy, but some siracha fixed that. My wife tried their shrimp fried rice and enjoyed it as well. Very reasonable prices… small-ish menu… delicious food. Will be back!

Beef phở soup was amazing and the hot Rose tea was also one of the best teas I’ve had. The aroma made me feel so good. Mmm!

HEY… If you have ever wanted to dine in one of those P.O.D.S. moving containers, look no further! The PRAISE: We found the Bahn Mi’s to be very, very good, as was the Phở’ and the Won-ton Soup. The PROBLEM: Service was the opposite of hasty, personable or knowledgeable. I think the kid that served us was a new dude who also just found out that someone pee-pee’d in his Cheerios or something. Very sullen and mumbly; scant with table side follow-ups(which was just fine with me, considering his pouty demeanor). Oh… We waited a loooooong time for our food, which, as I mentioned was eventually quite tasty. But as anyone with kids knows, time doesn’t exactly fly whilst waiting for your chow in a public setting. My suggestion: Get their well-prepared food and take it to a more pleasant setting.

SCORE!!! So thrilled to have discovered this place! Found it on Unilocal and the 100+ reviews weren’t wrong! Small little family owned joint with a great vibe and fresh, delicious food. I ordered the charbroiled pork Bun bowl and my husband had the Mamasan’s special. Both were so fresh and flavorful! Our server was super friendly and made some fantastic recommendations for us. He suggested we try the roll sampler appetizer which consisted on one of each variety of roll they serve. It was perfect for sharing and we enjoyed each one immensely. 5 stars all around! Wouldn’t change a single thing! We can’t wait to go back!!! If you’re in the area… GOOO!!! You won’t regret it!

I was looking for a place near 95 to meet some friends who were passing through on a road trip and found this place. It was the only restaurant in the area with a high Unilocal rating and the reviews and pictures all looked/sounded good. Upon arriving, I was very nervous. It was a hole in the wall without one single car in the parking lot. Is committing to it, though, and went in. First, it was absolutely freezing cold in there. It’s a tiny place, so no matter where you sit, you’re getting blasted by the AC. Second, it smelled very good inside. Whatever they were cooking was what I wanted! I ordered a hot tea(all they had was green tea) while I waited for my friends and it helped warm me up a little, but tasted terrible. I wouldn’t order their tea again. For lunch, I had the pork wonton soup and bahn mi sandwich with the egg added on. I read in someone else’s review to definitely get the regular bahn mi but to add the egg, so that’s what I did. They brought the soup out first and it was incredible! Everything was made in-house. The wontons, the broth, everything. In addition to the pork wontons, there were also pork cracklings, fried garlic, and of course scallions. It was the best wonton soup I’ve ever had in my entire life. They waited to bring bring my sandwich until I was done with the soup, which was nice. The bahn mi was fantastic! The bred was good(not too hard but not too soft and chewy either), the pork was good, the veggies were crisp, and the egg cooked perfectly. The creaminess of the yolk really did add something special to the sand which. Aside from the egg, they were just a little skimpy on the meat and veggies, as the bread-to-filling ration was a bit off. The favors all worked well together, though, and I will definitely order this again. My friends are all vegan(both my friends and their daughter) so they obviously didn’t share my meal. They each got an order of vegetation spring rolls(which were really summer rolls w/rice paper, not the fried rolls you’re probably thinking of). I had read that the homemade peanut sauce was amazing and they definitely agreed. Enough so that they ordered 5 more orders of them. Lol! While I didn’t have a spring roll, I think they definitely have room for improvement on their vegetarian version. There weren’t any vegetables! It was cabbage and cilantro wrapped in the rice paper. No carrots, no cucumber, no other veggies that they had lying around added in. That was a bit disappointing to see. My friends also ordered the vegetable Hu Tieu, but had it made with rice noodles instead of the egg noodles it normally comes with. They let me have a bite and it was really good! The sauce was light, but very flavorful, the dish wasn’t oily at all, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. There were onions, carrots, and broccoli as the vegetables, but they were kind of skimpy on the amount of veggies in the dish.(It was so good, they got another order to go!) I’m rarely on this side of town, but my friends and I already agreed to meet again for lunch on their road trip back up to DC and I can’t wait! I would not turn down another trip to this yummy place! Bonus: 10% off your order if you check in on Unilocal! I forgot to take a picture, but they had Unilocal love on their door and on their chalkboard wall. Yay!

97 reviews and 5 start rating, so I have to try this place. I love my Phở, and I am very picky about them. Back at home I like to try many different Phở places, and compare them for the best one around. Being in Florida, I wasn’t expecting to find a Phở restaurant and reviewed with such quality. I was debating whether to come here or to go to VietRiver in Titusville, but a 10% Unilocal check-in discount make Mamasan’s the winner. First impression: The façade is bare minimum. The restaurant is bearable noticeable from the road during the day, and at night is almost impossible to see. There are no illuminated signs, and I actually drove right by it. Inside the decoration is very elegant and modern. something I wouldn’t expect looking from the outside. Inside is poorly lit. The lights were dimmed so low it felt a little strange. The service was very good. The young gentleman serving us was very friendly and helpful. He took our order promptly and check on us regularly. I had the beef Phở and it was very flavorful, broth was served nice and hot, but not a lot of meat options. My uncle had the chicken Phở, and for picky old fashioned Italian first time having Phở he loved it. Prices seemed reasonable with what you’d find at other restaurants at $ 9.95 for the beef and $ 8.95 for the chicken, but after getting my phở I was very disappointed by their portion sizes. The bowls seemed smaller than the average I am used to. It looked more like medium size, but the real disappointment was that the bowl was only filled halfway with broth. I love drinking the broth after I am done with my noodles and beef. I mean who doesn’t right? But I was just left with a desire instead. For desert I got a taro smoothie with tapioca pearls. It was amazing, and one of the best I had so far. I would recommend you try one. Mamasan’s is a solid place. Food quality is very good, and service is spot on. Just don’t expect to find some of the more traditional Vietnamese foods. This place is more Americanized with simpler menu that will not scare you away. Hope to come back here next time I am in town.

Fantastic phở! Being from Boston I was blessed with tons of great Vietnamese up there. I’ve FINALLY found a local spot! Their nuoc mam is spot on as well! Can’t wait to try some of their other stuff!

Hand’s down the absolute best wonton soup I have had anywhere… ever and I have had wonton soup in different restaurants all over the world(ex-cruise ship worker). I look forward to Wonton Wednesday all week and if I have to work and miss it… I’m sad :( Seriously though, the food is always fresh and handmade. Its family owned and the service is awesome… they make you feel right at home… If you haven’t been yet you should!!!

It’s the only real Vietnamese restaurant in Cocoa Beach. The restaurant itself is small and the parking is limited. The owner and chef is Vietnamese and makes the restaurant very American friendly. Items on the menu range from Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. They serve bubble tea(tapioca balls) as well which is a Taiwanese originated beverage. The food is gluten free and compared to most Vietnamese restaurant, this place falls into the healthy category without having to sacrifice on flavor. The best Vietnamese restaurant for miles since they are the only ones in the area. Give it a try if you’re in the area. It’s not the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had, but it does a decent job with it has to offer. My Recommendations: Beef Phở Wonton Soup

Friday at 3:30 in the afternoon and we’re the only ones in the restaurant. It could be because of the timing. The menu is a tri-fold brochure and very limited. After the young man takes our order, I notice that there are specials on the board, which he didn’t even mention, let alone explain. So when I asked about the Tom Rang Man, he had photos of the specials to show us. My biggest complaint is that they don’t have tofu. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, Egg Banh Mi, and a shrimp cream egg roll. I also ordered a Diet Coke and was told they only had regular. Really? Water it is. Hubby ordered Hu Tieu Noodles with Shrimp. The food came out as it was prepared, not together. Everything we ordered was delicious and plentiful. The fried rice was yummy. The fried egg Banh Mi was perfectly cooked(for me): well done egg whites and semi-runny golden yolks. My cream shrimp roll was very tasty as well. However, I over-ordered, so I only ate a third of my rice, half of the sandwich, and one of the egg rolls. Guess what I’m having for dinner tomorrow? While the food is great, they have to work on their service and their offerings. The prices are reasonable. All that food for $ 28 and then we got the Unilocal 10% discount on top of that. One very cute thing: they have a printed fortune cookie at the bottom of the receipt. My fortune said, «You are extremely loved. Don’t Worry :)» They are a 3.5 star, but rounded down for lack of wow-factor.

They show promises of being a good restaurant — but there are still a few hiccups, like, instead of full-size napkins, we were supplied cocktail napkins. We also had to ask for plates for appetizers. We tried the four roll appetizer, which was, quite frankly, average at best. One of them was a cream cheese roll, which I could not finish. However, the beef Phở was very good with a good amount of meat and spicy, savory broth. I think this place shows great promise, and I’m really glad to have a Vietnamese restaurant in the Cocoa area. I’m certainly willing to go back in a few weeks and give them another chance, and I certainly hope that they continue to expand their clientele and menu offerings. Update — I’ve eaten two more times at this restaurant, and I’m glad to report that they solved most of their issues that I complained about in my earlier review — and Hu Tieu noodles are absolutely delicious!

We had an awesome lunch here yesterday. For starters, we ordered the roll sampler, which was amazing. Pork spring roll was my favorite. My husband ordered the chicken phở and I ordered the chicken hu tien noodles which is a stir fry with a light sauce for entrees. While we waited they brought us out a sample of their boba Tea, which was delicious and we ended up ordering a almond boba Tea to go. As for the entrees, the hu tien was the best value. HOLYNOODLES! The portions were very generous. This place says its healthy so I was also very happy with the light sauce and lots of veggies mixed in with the noodles. I had a bit of my husband’s phở and the broth was very good. I give it 5 stars but liked my dish better. I loved this place, the friendly server and tasty food gets this place the five stars, it deserves.
