Arrived around 430 and was concerned as the parking lot seemed empty. Still decided to go in. Place is not a rose garden but the decorations were nice. Waitress was very friendly and service was very fast. Now for the good part the food was wonderful. Everything was freshly cooked. Ceasers salad was wonderful. Fried shrimp, rock shrimp and blackened mahi were cooked to perfection. Will go back for sure. Thanks for a very pleasurable time and meal.

***FUCKTHISPLACE!*** ***FUCKTHEOWNER, RAY!*** ***FUCKTHISPLACE!*** Why do I eschew such venom on a mere Seafood Restaurant? How ’bout this; ***WARNING — HAIRINFOOD!!!*** I find that some of the best criteria for judging a retail establishment is how they handle a problem. Boy did these guys fall short. WAAAYSHORT! My family and I(Cocoa Beach residents) were just coming off a great weekend day on the beach, and we decided to cap this beautiful day with a nice seafood meal. Nope. We were«enjoying» a rather mediocre meal when I took a bite from the fish that came with my fish and seafood combo. I felt something stringy in my mouth, and, low and behold, pulled out a 4 – 5 inch hair. YUM! By the way, I’m bald. No way it was mine. I gave the hair to our server, and she disappeared back into the kitchen, only to return a couple minutes later. She offered us a scoop of free iced cream, explaining that’s what the owner told her to do. She seemed a cross of embarrassed and mortified. I don’t blame her. She had done a good job so far, and this owner misstep was obviously making her uncomfortable. I asked her if I could speak to whoever was giving her this directive. A few minutes later, somebody, whom i later found out was the owner Ray(he did not introduce himself), came out and said simply, «Yeah?» Incredulous, I repeated his«yeah?» Ray said, «What do you want?» I couldn’t believe my ears. I asked him if he knew why he had been called out. He said yes, but told me nobody in the kitchen, including him and his wife, had that color hair. I felt like I must be in «The Twilight Zone.» Again he asked me what I wanted. At this point I was so pissed, I told him I wanted that plate comped.(He was such an unconcerned prick, I should’ve gone for the whole meal.) He said nothing but, «OK,» then turned and walked away. No apology whatsoever, and I know he would’ve gotten away with whatever he could to get out of this hair-pie fiasco. There’s no way i should’ve needed to ask for a comp or even asked to speak with him. WHAT A PRICK! So yes… ***FUCKTHISPLACE!*** ***FUCKTHEOWNER, RAY!*** ***FUCKTHISPLACE!*** Florida Seafood is better, cheaper, and right across the street.

Nice place but not good food. Went at 6:30 Mother’s day out of coconut shrimp, tuna and another fish. Had Chicken dish was old chicken. Service slow. Prices OK for Florida. Good place to hang out off river.

My husband & I ate here while visiting my mom– she had a coupon they wouldn’t accept because the«feast for 2» and crab leg dinner we ordered were not considered«entrees» which we found out upon check out(not written as an exclusion on the coupon itself) Food was not good– corn fritters tasted like old, bad oil that seafood was previously cooked in. Crab had freezer burn. The cole slaw was the best thing we had, but I certainly wouldn’t return for that. As mentioned above, service was pretty awful– food way overpriced. We have come here many times over the years but Nah, never again.

Subpar food with a lukewarm environment. Cool decorations along the walls. The servers obviously hate their jobs based off their attitude and mannerisms. The shrimp was reasonably priced but extremely bland. I’d come here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Excellent sweet tea though!

Went to Old Fish House on a Friday around lunch time with my mom before a long wedding weekend. Being from Maryland, we know good blue crabs when we pick them. They were very fresh and heavy, very reasonably priced, and perfectly steamed.(Dont’ tell my Maryland friends, but they were the best ones I’ve had all year, and they were from FLORIDA). Not only did we thoroughly enjoy our meal, the chef came out to talk with us about our meal. He mentioned that they only get things fresh from local areas. Definitely will return if I’m ever in Cocoa Beach again.

Stopped there last night around 7 pm. We heard it was supposed to have the best seafood in town. We ordered our food. Waitress Brought our salads and drinks within 10 minutes. All seemed ok. An hour later still had no food. A few other tables came in around the same time and they didn’t have their food either. Finally at 8:10 pm we got up, found our server and gave her 10 bucks to pay for the salads and left. Very disappointed and don’t plan on returning. Too much competition out there to waste previous moments of our life waiting on food not to be served.

This place was awesome. The food was very good and the wait staff were very friendly. Even though they were busy, we did not feel like we waited for anything.

Second time I have eaten there. Small portion for the price. Will not go again. Had special of Mahi and shrimp. Mahi was about 3 oz and very thin. Shrimp were so small they were hard to peel.

Oh my dear God, what a mistake this place was! Bottom line this is a low income red neck joint. We took a river tour cruise and the guy giving the tour gave us a discount coupon for this place and not knowing anything else about the area and being very hungry, we went there for lunch. This dive is so bad I don’t know where to start except I’ll tell you the ending first, we ate two fork fulls of the food we ordered and left. It is the first time in my life that I have refused to eat food served to me. The waitress, a short blonde twenty something was about as nasty as a human being can be without becoming violent. One of those souls who hates her job and hates you for making her do her job. The cod arrived under-cooked, cold and wet and the shrimp had a smell to it that we could not identify. Deciding that this was an illness waiting to happen, we left.

Service was a bit unfriendly upon entering. As another reviewer mentioned, they refused to substitute fries for onion rings, which seemed a bit strange, but whatever – understandable. Ended up ordering the onion rings as an appetizer and, when they arrived forty minutes later, were quite plain and forgettable. Caesar salad was overloaded with dressing, so it may be worthwhile to ask for dressings on the side! I ended up ordering the large battered cod and french fries, trying my damnedest to get as close to fish and chips as possible. The batter was tasty, the fish was tasteless and rubbery. Perhaps they were having an off night? Either way, I’d skip this place as it’s just too pricey for mediocre food.

Great food, but the service isn’t always the friendliest. I love their homemade ranch dressing and their fried shrimp. The dressing is thick and tangy, and their shrimp are lightly breaded.

Service is ok. Visit started off poorly. They wouldn’t do an up charge to substitute onion rings for fries. Skip the the rings anyway, under cooked and tasteless. Skip the caesar also, tasteless(seems like store bought). Mahi was a little over cooked, but good. The shrimp were excellent!

Got takeout. Food ok but not great. Mahi was tasty but buffalo shrimp was soggy(batter) and rubbery. Key lime pie was excellent. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.

What a hidden gem! Per reviews I ordered the fried shrimp which was lightly battered and delicious. We also had the alligator bites, hush puppies, and their homemade ranch is the best I’ve ever had. The place isn’t anything fancy or pretty to look at but what counts here is the food. Prices are great also! Will be back and recommend a must in Cocoa Beach, Fl.

Great little place in a strip mall. Doesn’t seat too many people and the night we went it was pretty busy which tells you a lot about their food. Everything was very reasonably priced especially for a seafood place.

We had a good meal and the service was good. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not it. If you want a «down home» non pretentious tasty seafood dinner, this is your place. The owner came out and checked on us after he cooked the meal which is always nice to see in a small restaurant. One thing i would relay to the owner is to train your waitstaff a little better. Even if you don’t offer certain substitutions many patrons will pay(as was our case) to get what we want. Saying«no» to a customer and forcing us to ask to pay more takes the flow out of your otherwise good and friendly service.

We were here for about 2 hours! 3 of my boys decided to get the crab legs, hubby got the all you can eat, I got mahi mahi and the little guy had some shrimp. We all loved our food! The service was great! They kept bring more food and beverages and my hubby got a lesson on how to eat a crab(hubby was only experienced in crab legs and crab claws, not the whole crab). This place is in a strip mall and pretty much a bare bones establishment, but that’s ok with us since the food is so yummy! Thanks for a great meal while on vacation!
