The cubano was absolutely delicious, albeit very messy, so get tons of napkins. I put some Chalula green hot sauce on it and it took it to the next level. I had the papa rellena after reading the reviews. It was good but super rich and heavy so I wouldn’t get that again. I LOVED the yucca fries. I would go back and get several orders if I lived in the area. The inside looks great, once you get past the cramped, messy foyer area. The dining area is super bight and spacious and nicely decorated. Great spot for lunch near the beach.

Never disappointed when we eat here. The cuban pork is perfect with lime and garlic… maduro or tostones are great side dishes. Friendly people and great service.

I stopped by Café Playa last night looking for a good quality meal in a relaxing atmosphere. I was not disappointed. I ordered the citrus chicken with salted plantains, black beans and yellow rice. The food was delicious and the flavors popped with every bite. As good as it was I could not find room for all of it, but that’s OK, I just finished it off for breakfast — great way to start the day. The atmosphere was relaxed as I had hoped and the service was good. Overall a delicious meal, a cold beer and pleasant experience all at a very reasonable price, I can’t wait to return.

Great Cuban/Caribbean food. I have been there at least ten times since they opened and have never had a bad meal. Parking is though to find, but worth the effort. Their sandwiches are outstanding and the best in Brevard. Their entrées are served are hardwood plates, and abundance of food is s bargain. Everything is made on-prem.

Went here based on the Unilocal reviews and craving for Cuban food. First of all I arrived there at 5:30. I was the only one in the restaurant during the whole time I was dining. I ordered my favorite Cuban dish, Palomilla Steak. I could not have been more disappointed. Tasted like a tough thin round steak. There was NO attempt in them marinating it. My sides were black beans(Luke warm) and white rice(barely warm). Based on what I had and my experience there, I would not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. I will never return.

Attention foodies, if you are looking for a new café with great fresh meals just stop by Tina’s café playa. You will not be disappointed. Grandma Genny and I have eaten there quite often and have never been disappointed. The food is great, the dining room is great, the people are great and the washroom is clean. Don’t delay, you deserve to treat yourself and this the place too do it.

Sally and her sister are amazing people and super nice. I ate there a week ago for the first time and I’ve been back 4 more times and I’ll continue to go and eat the chicken with red beans and fried sweet plantains until I leave end of April… YUM!!!

I loved this Cuban place! While I was visiting in Florida and was in Cocoa Beach I was accidentally introduced to this small quint little place. I had the café con leche(coffee with milk) it was so yummy, I also had the lechon(seasoned pork) that was so good. The flan was excellent! I really like my food super spicy and I had a hot sauce that was really tasty really spicy but tasty it tasted like it had habanero peppers in it. I had to request to take some of that home. Now the dining area was a little warm because of no AC but other than that I really enjoyed this restaurant a lot and would return again for sure.

Nope, nope, nope… not sure where they got the menu from but nope. Found a hair in my Cuban Sandwhich. It had no swiss cheese… and they added mayo. The tostones were the size of my fist and had no flavor. They did remake the sandwhich and were very polite, but nope.

I have heard this place is good so tried it on a day off. Dined in and had the media noche sandwich, café con leche and(free) water. Sally also brought me their hot sauce, just in case I was a hot sauce person. I am and it is hot & tasty. Went well with the sandwich which was delicious. I would definitely come here again

Great food at a great price, friendly service, and quick. This place is small on the inside, only 8 tables, but really cute. We had the croquettes(ham was better than the chicken, I thought), tostones, medianoche sandwich, and tripleta sandwich. All were excellent. I’d highly recommend this place.

Great authentic cuban food at a really decent price. Large portion sizes and nice flavors. We have had both the platters, Cuban sandwich and the breakfast, very pleased with everything. Friendly service and charm.

If you ever in Cocoa Beach you should try this place. You feel having a coffee– try café con leche. The sandwishes are delicious and the pollo and pork platters with rice and beans are amazing and don’t forget to ask for a papa rellena ! The only thing I should criticize is that they won’t serve you water you have to pay for it.

The food here was amazing. We had the pork platter with plantains, tostones, stuffed potato, and espresso. The pork platter comes with rice and beans, which were really tasty. The pork is roasted and pulled. Very flavorful and has onions in it. The tostones where the best iPad, and be sure to ask for the sauce. It’s all about the sauce. Prices are good and service is fast. Highly recommended! (We went back today for sandwiches, got the Cubano and the Pernil, we especially loved the cubano. Delicious!)
