Goat Rock Roast? An odd name for a basic morning brew. Doesn’t evoke the flavor of chevon, for any familiar with that glorious taste; nor any rock I’ve tasted. But I enjoy the coffee, whatever the name. Big coffee costs $ 2.25; a refill is $ 1.25. Baked goods: Of the several gluten-free offerings, the two I’ve sampled to date were taste-free, too. OTOH, the glutenful strawberry loaf slice was moist & delicious. Books: used, overpriced mainstream titles. Wi-fi: pretty speedy, as things in Cobb go. Eugene sez check it out.

This place not only has great coffee, they have great music on Sunday afternoons, the best staff, some great blended coffee drinks and even the best sandwiches on the mountain. Kudos to everyone there.

Love the coffee, treats and service with a smile! Also great place to browse for books. Great place to meet up with friends to catch up, or sit and catch up on paperwork, news while enjoying a perfectly brewed beverage. Hot soup in the winter and frozen yogurt in the summer– win/win! They also have a 2nd location in Hidden Valley in the same shopping center as Tings Thai Kitchen and Hardester’s Market.

A great coffee shop in our wonderFULL ARtzy Fartzy small community. The coffee is great, the patrons & wonderful service w/a smile. I often come in after a 16 hr shift @ work … & don’t need to say ANYthing. My Jo is there w/a smile. And they have really helped promote the growth of art & music on the mountain! A real treat for all who enter.

Went up in the mountains to visit the huge dumping of snow today. I was so charmed by this place. The whole town is out of power, except for a few business using generators or propane(i’m not sure how they do it!) to keep the place alive. It was so romantic– they kept all lights off and served coffee drinks, tea and pastries all day in candle-lit warmth. It was so cosy– some people read, a couple brought guitars, and many gathered to chat and relish in a comforting place that was open. And it was all by candle light! Loved it!

The most down to earth coffee shop I have ever been to. Quality beans at a great price. Quality beans to me are not only organic but fair trade as well. All of the baked items are made fresh throughout the day and free wi-fi too! Every customer there is so chill, Mountain High is just a cool place to hang out and get out of the cold. The book selection is interesting. Huge variety with a children’s section too. Some rare collections also. Check out this place if you are ever driving through Cobb Mountain.
