The service was good but the food was mediocre at best. Some of the food was undercooked and at one point we saw a waterbug crawl across the floor. I would not recommend this place to anybody for the food. Excellent service. Mediocre food.

This is a great place to get bbq, chicken, fish, shrimp, and vegetables. They also have deserts. The food is wonderful and the service is great too. The theme is old western. You pay for buffet. They have catering and take out too. The only problem i had was the bathrooms are tight.

My husband and I moved to Coats back in August and Ron’s Barn was our first stop for«Southern Cooking». I have to say at first I was a bit turned off and not because of the food. It was more of the food not looking the way I am use to it looking. For example, up north our pulled pork(aka BBQ) has some type of barbecue sauce all over it. Down South it doesn’t have any type of «sauce». BUT once I tried all the food, it was delicious! I was obsessed with the fried chicken and then buttered potatoes. I couldn’t bring myself to eat the beans or Okra, but I think after some time I will. My husband and I haven’t been back, but that’s only because I know when I do go I will eat way too much.

If you’re a fan of buffets, this place is for you. Was disappointed to be given a menu and told if we ordered off of it that the servers would just get it and plate it from the buffet??? Bbq and food was average and décor was picnic tables in what you’d expect — a barn. Staff was friendly and attentive.
